After the departure of the Great Mistress for good, Luke's mansion became silent. The residents are at the elite cemetery of The Heavenly Hills located at the end of central Jakarta. The very exclusive burial area can only be visited by certain people, and like weddings, funeral processions can only be attended by invited guests.
The mood was sad and haru accompanied the body buried that morning solemnly. Luke and Emma are seen withstanding the tears for too long since the previous night. Their eyes were both reddened and swollen, and their voices had disappeared, changing with hoarseness and choking.
"Luke, I'm so sorry" said Mrs Sherly, one of the deceased's friends, who had been delivering the coffin to her final resting place.
"Thank you, ma'am," Luke answered briefly, showing a smile. His sunglasses hid puffy eyes and a pale-looking face. Absolutely perfect camouflage.
Luke tries to control his still slightly muddled emotions. All this time, the Great Mistress was the only family figure that was so loved by her. His departure left a void that was difficult to fill.
The funeral took place solemnly, and Luke could not hold back the tears that flowed back once the Great Lady's body was lowered into the burrow. On the other hand, Emma seemed quite determined and did not meet together trying to strengthen her husband in his deep sadness.
The funeral atmosphere at The Heavenly Hills is so solemn and full of life. A bright blue sky with soft sunlight illuminated the burial area. A gentle breeze gently rubbed the faces of the invited guests, giving a soothing touch amid the sadness that surrounded them.
Rows of fresh flowers and condensation tables decorate the area, creating an atmosphere that glorifies the departure of the deceased. The guests attending the funeral wore all-black clothes with sad and haru expressions visible on their faces. Some of them were seen hugging each other, looking for support from each other in this heavy moment.
The sound of sobbing cries rang out on the sidelines of the words of comfort spoken by the friends and family of the deceased. There was sadness that struck, but there was also gratitude for the life that had been lived well and modestly by the Great Mistress.
The view around the cemetery also adds to the atmosphere. Shady trees around the cemetery area, giving the impression of peace and eternity. The sound of birds chirping gently accompanies the funeral procession, as if to pay their last respects to the figure of Lady Han Eun Sook who has gone for good.
In deep sadness, the funeral becomes a moment of separation full of novelty. The invited guests say a final and momentous prayer to celebrate life and pray for peace for the departed spirit. However, among them, there was someone who seemed unaffected by the sorrowful atmosphere that was happening there.
"Curtain! I have lost my card" said a mysterious guest who came in the final hours before the funeral procession was completed.
"Miss President, this is." Kian said, handing over a funeral invitation card to his employer, Lucy. He had won the negotiation to buy the invitation card of one of the late guests. With the lure of 1 million rupiah, the person was willing to submit an invitation card to enter the cemetery area. And now, Lucy is near Luke and Emma, though it doesn't seem too close.
"Why didn't my threat work? That peyot granny died first. Hmh! How else would I threaten them?" mumbling Lucy while pretending to give a rose in front of the deceased's tomb. He solemnly followed the final prayer before the funeral service was closed, and invited guests were allowed to return home.
Lucy accidentally goes to Madame Han Eun Sook's funeral to confirm with her own eyes that the old grandmother has passed away. Despite the scorching sun on her skin, Lucy does not mind if she manages to see the miserable-looking figure of Emma and Luke. Losing one of the figures loved by them, was a pretty deep blow.
"Good look," said Lucy quietly, with a smile so as not to attract suspicion.
Lucy continued her steps to walk slowly, while assessing the situation. When she sees Emma separated from Luke, Lucy immediately walks towards him.
Suddenly, a "DUG!" sound was heard!" followed by a groan of pain from Emma.
"Ah, sorry," said Lucy as she reached out her hand, trying to help Emma stand up, after accidentally bumping into her.
"HEY!!" hardik Emma, feeling played.
Lucy seemed to be smiling haughtily and arrogantly, she opened her sunglasses. "You broke a promise, Emma. Whatisthis? Why are you still here?" he asked sarcastically, not realizing that he was an uninvited guest who should not be in the family cemetery.
Emma, who was humiliated by Lucy's presence, uttered those words in annoyance. "What's? Lucy's? How dare you come here!" he said with a sharp tone. He then tried to stand up again, without expecting any help from the witch standing before him.
"You should get divorced, right? You promised me, Emma! Turns out, Miss K-Group is a liar huh!" lucy shouted, this time deliberately, to provoke a response from Emma who was injured in the inner.
"SILENCE!" emma's reply was unacceptable. He really didn't understand why Lucy could make such a fuss at the funeral today.
The heated quarrel between Emma and Lucy attracts the attention of the people gathered around the cemetery. The loud voices of those who replied to each other words ignited the curiosity of the invited guests.
It didn't take long for the crowd to get close to the two of them. Some of them stopped their steps and started whispering curiously, while others moved closer to clearly see the commotion that was going on.
"What's going on there?" whispered a woman curiously, her eyes could not turn away from the dispute that was happening.
"It seems they are fighting. You know those ladies?" ask a man standing next to her.
"No. Perhaps, the entourage of another family," said the woman briefly.
A lot of people have swarmed and created rumors and speculations about what is going on there.
"Beautiful is noisier" said a middle-aged man who seemed clueless about the heat that was sweeping the cemetery. The area that should have been quiet and calm, has now been damaged by the tantrums and mockery of two beautiful girls who appear to be at the peak of their respective anger.
"Excuse me.." said Lukas who had just finished taking care of some administration at the funeral secretariat. He looked at the crowd of people gathered around the area of the quarrel, and his heart was pounding furiously worried about what was happening. He had just left Emma, and when sought, his wife was not around the gravestone of their late grandmother.
Faintly, Luke heard Emma's cry from the opposite direction. With a trembling heart, Luke tried to approach to make sure.
"Emma??!!" luke shouted when he learned that one of the girls who was triggering the crowd was his wife. Quickly, Luke walked towards her, and pulled Emma's hand away instantly.
