New Life and the Past

On the bright side was a handsome man sitting on a bench in the beautiful and spacious courtyard of the house. Enjoy the treat of a glass of melon juice that refreshes his throat from the hot sun.

"It's been a long time, brother?" Kalycha, who had just stepped down from her second-floor room, approached her ex-assistant husband, who was sitting in the backyard.

"Rulll." Roy put the glass of juice in his hand. Then look at Kalycha sitting next to him.

"Did you find out what Icha asked you for, sister?" ask Kalycha straight to the heart of their conversation.

The Flashback

Just after she returned home from her husband's grave last week, Kalycha asked Roy to meet her at a cafe and asked her to investigate who the man she had accidentally met was at the restaurant.

"What Cha? Whose face is it?" Roy seemed to be in disbelief at what Kalycha had just told him.

"Sister I know you won't believe that you haven't met or seen him in person. But his face really looks the same as Mas Haidar sis."

"Cha, are you serious Cha?" Roy is still repeating his question he still does not believe what his best friend's wife said, he is afraid Kalycha back hallucinating.

"Sister Roy, if you don't believe Icha you can ask for CCTV footage in Restaurant xx Kak." Kalycha recounts how she met a man whose face resembled that of her husband.

"You're not hallucinating, are you, Cha?"

"Sister Roy, Icha is healed Brother. I believe it's the same Icha."

Roy is not the type of person who easily believes in others. But to make sure that Kalycha does not hallucinate himself also asked his confidants to check the truth that he had just heard.

He received a copy of the video from the restaurant. Roy almost dropped his phone he couldn't believe what he had just seen. His face was pale, his hands and his entire body were shaking. The man's face was completely similar to the face of Haidar his best friend, the man who had been his superior.

"I'm sorry Brother, Cha." Kalycha just nodded her head.

Kalycha and Roy become close after Roy delivers Kalycha and Oma Milah to Singapore. There Roy helped him a lot for his recovery.

Roy handed the large white envelope to Kalycha. Kalycha quickly opened the envelope and took out a sheet of paper from it. Kalycha read the personal data of the man she was looking for.

Name: Haikal Halim Prakasa

Birth: Palembang, -/-/-/----

Wedding Status: Single

Occupation: CEO of PT Prakasa Saint branch of PT Prakasa Group.

The only child of Abas Prakasa and Yetti Kusuma.

After reading the short data from the man, his tears came back. His hand shook the sheet of paper containing information about the man he was looking for had escaped his hand and fell on the floor.

"He's not Mas Hai? Birth is different. Me and Mas Hai are 9 years old and only 5 years old. What I really expect from him."

"Cha–." Roy holds Kalycha's shoulder and picks up the sheet that fell on the floor.he knows that Kalycha is so disappointed with the information he just read. Haikal and Dimas arranged the schedule with neurosurgeon Endra Gunawan. They deliberately arranged for his meeting at night so that not many would know about his illness. They want to avoid from people who are busy looking for news by suppressing their weaknesses from their business competitors.

"Please enter Sir. Can I help you?" Doctor Endra allowed Haikal and Dimas to sit in front of him with a desk divider in front of him.

"How do you know you have amnesia?" the doctor looked directly at Haidar while twirling the pen in his hand.

Seeing the attitude of the careless doctor Endra made Haikal want to undo his intentions. But as she stared at Dimas, Dimas's eyes told her he had to try and hold back his ego.

"Before I answer the doctor's questions, may I ask the doctor to keep secret what will the doctor hear and see from me? And if the news about me leaks out to the public then the doctor's life will be at stake." Haikal wanted to make sure that all his actions, his secrecy, would be kept safe. Doctor Endra stopped his activity and stared intently at Haikal.

"Sure." he answered steadily with a cynical look while leaning his body on the lap of his greatness. "Then I agreed to meet you tonight. Even though the consequences that I would receive were absurd." Then the doctor straightened his body, linked his fingers and placed them on the table making his elbow as his pedestal and placed his chin on it. "How could you dare threaten a doctor?" endar's doctor pointed at Haikal with the pen he had been playing with.

The middle-aged man never felt afraid of anyone because all he feared was his God the breath-giver of life.

"Well if the doctor agrees, and I don't mean to threaten the doctor, I just want to make sure that my reputation is not polluted in the public eye and that this secret must be maintained even from my parents." Haikal saw Endra's doctor nod his head. "Thank you for the doctor's willingness to listen to what I'm about to say." Doctor Endra nodded his head again and his hand allowed Haikal to speak.

"I don't remember who I really am doc, even my own name I don't know." Haikal began to open serious talks and would become a secret between the three of them.

"How could you not know your name Sir, while here it is clearly written your name Mr. Haikal Halim Prakasa." Doctor Endra showed me a business card on his desk.

"Look, doc, that Haikal name I got from here." Haikal loosened his tie by unbuttoning his top shirt and took out a necklace from behind his shirt which he wore around his neck.

Haikal opened the necklace and showed a ring engraved with Haikal's name there.

"Isn't this a wedding ring?" endra asked the doctor when he received the ring Haikal had given him.

"It seems so docile, but I don't know whose name it is, because it seems my name is not Haikal but when I realized from the accident that befell me the ring was pinned in my dock."

"That means you're married."

"There's no way doc, I'm still young and my target is to get married when I'm established doc."

"meaning?" doctor Endar was confused by what he had just heard.

"Actually I am a nephew of Abas Prakasa, I have a cousin named Halim Prakasa who is the biological son of Om Abas, but my cousin was dead 7 years ago doc.
