"Brakkk...!" suddenly, the Gita who was still standing with Gibran was hit by a boy who was running around in the restaurant. The drink the boy was carrying fell and spilled over the long skirt that the Gita was wearing.
Gibran immediately moved from his seat to approach the Gita and gave her some of the table-top-available table-topped eating wipes to wipe her wet skirt from a drink spill.
"Aren't you papa?" ask Gibran to the Gita.
"No.." replied Gita stammered as she received a tissue from Gibran and wiped her skirt.
"Well, my drink spilled all...! Hiks.." the little boy who was about 7 years old frowned and finally cried over his spilled drink.
"Aldo, you're here apparently. Mama's been looking for you!" exclaimed a woman who approached the little boy and turned out to be his mother.
"My drink spilled all over, Ma. Got hit by this sister! Huhuhu." said the little boy while crying to his mother.
"You must be running again, right. Mama told me not to run! Bring another drink!" the mother said she was scolding her son.
Gibran and Gita were still standing and were silent at the debate between the boy and his mother.
"I changed the drink, sweet boy" Gibran said, offering the boy a new drink.
"No need, Mas. No papa. It is precisely we who apologize for making his Maak shirt wet." replied the mother of the child wisely.
"No papa, Mom. Let's buy it again." take Gibran to the little boy.
"Duh, so ngerepotin, Mas. Don't." said the mother again felt bad.
"No papa, Mom. Come on.." take Gibran again. The little boy stopped crying and smiled at Gibran.
"Thank you, ma'am" said the mother, thanking her and finally letting Gibran stand in line with his son.
"Git, I'm asking you to take care of my bag for a while, just sit there" Gibran told Gita before heading to the queue. Gita nodded and immediately sat down next to Gibran's chair.
Not long after, Lala came to take orders for her and Gita. "If it's not wrong, I think I saw Gibran in the queue" Lala said shortly after sitting across from the Gita.
"Thank you, La." said Gita while taking her food. He thanked Lala for waiting in line, but did not respond to Lala's statement about Gibran.
"Who, whose bag is this? Whose plate is this?" lala asked in wonder because it turned out that the table was the place to eat and Gita was filled first.
"Have Gibran." replied Gita briefly.
"What?" lala was surprised. "So what I saw was actually Gibran? Are you better off with him?" ask Lala to continue.
Gita breathed. "I also accidentally met him, La. When you were waiting, I was looking for an empty seat and accidentally met him. There's a little kid who hit me and his drink spills on my shirt. Gibran continued to encourage the little boy to buy a new drink because the little boy was crying his drink spilled. He was hanging out again with the boy. And he asked me to sit here to take care of his bag. Most of the tables are already at full as well" Gita explained at length.
"Oh that's it.." said Lala. "Well, neither is Gibran" said Lala praising Gibran.
Gita smiled at Lala's words. He glanced at Gibran and the little boy who was waiting in line. Now it was their turn to order a drink. Gita saw the face of the little boy's sumringah was very excited because it was accompanied and treated by a drink by Gibran.
"Are you sure you don't want to marry her?" ledek Lala made Gita wrong.
"Lala...!" gita Tegur. He had told Lala everything. And what upset the Gita the most, Lala always blamed her how complicated her mind was and always supported Gibran. He seems to be on Gibran's side now.
Lala laughs at Gita's misbehavior. According to him, his best friend could not be far from Gibran. Like magnets, even though they are opposite each other, but no matter how far apart they are, they will always be close to each other in the end.
Gibran finished accompanying the little boy and bought a drink and has now returned to his seat. He sat next to Gita. Gita lowered her head to focus on her food, while Gibran also resumed his eating.
Lala who saw the two of them did not greet each other then shook her head, 'How could they suddenly be like people who did not know each other?' lala's mind grumbled in her heart.
"Gibran, how's your apprentice?" tanya Lala finally opened the conversation.
"Thank God be good." replied Gibran. "How are you?" ask Gibran to Lala and Gita.
"Currently too, really. I'm the same Gita placed in a different field, but we can still rest together today" replied Lala enthusiastically. Gita remained silent and focused on eating her food.
"Thank God you're at home." Gibran smiled at Lala.
"Oh yes, you yourself feel at home not working with the candidate-in-law?" ask Lala while joking.
"Ohuk... uhuk..." Gita chokes at Lala's question. 'Lala.!'s...!' gita shouted in her heart. I want him to come over and smother Lala's mouth right now.
Gibran immediately offered Gita a drink and patted Gita on the back. Lala smiled at the looks of her two friends.
"Aren't you papa?" gibran asked a bit worriedly to the Gita.
"Uhuk.." replied Gita immediately while sucking back the drink.
"Slow down, Git" Gibran said of concern.
Gita's face flushed with Gibran's treatment. Honestly speaking, he missed Gibran very much nearby.
"No, not at all" replied Gibran smiling.
Gita had thought that Gibran would be at home working in his papa's office. Every day papa Gita always tells how Gibran development during work. He also often praised Gibran's kind, polite, and always pleasant attitude, not only to his father but also to other officials.
Gibran, Gita, and Lala had each finished their meals. The Gita does not talk much, while Gibran and Lala are engrossed in discussing their respective work.
Lala then took her phone. "Git, I think I have to pick up Alya first and then go back to the office. Here's whatsapp I asked to pick up." Lala told Gita.
"Well, how do I go back to his office?" ask Gita. Gita was riding Lala's motorbike while going to the place to eat earlier.
"Gibran, I'm asking you to help anterin Gita, huh?" lala asked Gibran for help.
Gita was surprised and widened her eyes looking at Lala. 'What the fuck is Lala...!' the Gita grumbled in the heart.
"Yes, I can." replied Gibran smiling.
"If that's what I'm going to do first" Lala said farewell.
"Be careful, La." replied Gibran. While Gita just nodded.
The atmosphere was then silent for a moment after Lala left. Gibran plays his phone, while Gita is still engrossed in playing straws in his depleted drink.
Gibran kept his phone in his pants pocket and started talking. "Where are you with Alvin?" shoot Gibran asking about Gita and Alvin's relationship.
Gita was surprised to hear Gibran's question. "Where's what? I have nothing to do with him." replied Gita ketus.
"I guess you're now turning to her, isn't she the way you're looking? She's ready to marry you after graduation a few more months" Gibran said coldly offending Gita.
"You think getting married is easy? I can't marry someone I don't love at all" Gita replied.
"So who do you love?" ask Gibran.
"Ka..." Gita reflexively wanted to answer 'you' but she suddenly stopped and covered her mouth with her hand.
Gibran laughed at Gita's behavior. 'He was very funny, never changed.' Gibran thought. Gibran was also relieved and happy that Gita did not really give Alvin the opportunity to approach him.
"So we go to the office now? It's 1pm" Gibran said, looking at his watch.
"Yes." answered Gita briefly. He actually still wants to linger with Gibran, but he also has to remember his work.
Gibran and Gita walk towards the motor park. Helmet Gita is already on the bike Gibran, apparently Lala has moved his helmet there.
Gibran turns on his motorbike and gives the helmet to the Gita. "Come...!" take Gibran to Gita to get on his bike.
The Gita quickly complied and sat behind Gibran. Gibran pulled both of Gita's hands to hug her from behind. "Hand, it will fall" Gibran said with a triumphant smile. He also missed Gita.
The Gita was surprised but did not refuse. He smiled shyly behind his helmet. Gibran takes his motorcycle to the Gita office and delivers it.
Arriving at the office...
"Thank you" said Gita thanking Gibran when he got off his bike. He stood in front of Gibran and his bike.
"Together." replied Gibran smiling. "Can we walk next time?" gibran asked, making Gita smile with embarrassment. Gibran never asked her permission. This seems to be a fresh start to his relationship with Gibran. And of course, the Gita likes Gibran's 'new way.
"Tumben you asked permission?" ask Gita back.
"I just want to try to start everything with you. I don't want to be selfish and like you said 'the theme'" Gibran explained. "And most importantly, I want to make you comfortable because I really love you, Git." Gibran continued, making Gita's cheek seem burning. Gibran could definitely see clearly his cheeks were flushed now.
"Emmm..." Gita is confused as to what to say.
"Come in, you have to work, I want to go back to the office too. Later your papa even find his ex-apprentice intern if I am not in the office during business hours" said Gibran jokingly.
Gita laughed at Gibran's joke. He nodded and smiled at him. "Be careful on the road, Gibran" said the Gita.
"Well." replied Gibran.
Gibran then passes and Gita walks into his office. Gita walked into her room. When passing through Lala's room, how surprised she found Lala had already come first and was sitting sweetly in her room.
Gita approaches Lala. "Lala, didn't you pick up Alya first?" ask Gita wonder.
Lala is shocked to be hit by Gita. "Eh, Gita. How was Gibran?" ask Lala while laughing. In the room there was only Gita and Lala, while the other employees were still resting and had not returned to the office.
"Where's what? You were intentionally?" ask Gita to interrogate.
"Hehehe... After that I'm nervous to see you two as strangers who don't know each other." replied Lala still laughing.
"Lala...!" gita shouted half to Lala.
