'If loving you is a complicated thing, then let me make it simple, because love is actually simple, only your mind makes it complicated. (Gibran Ghanial).'

A month passed after the events of Gibran and Gita in the campus parking lot at that time. Today Gibran returned to his internship at Mr. Surya's office, Gita's father. During her internship, she lived in a mess near the office.

Gibran is getting ready for work. He wears a light blue shirt and black cloth trousers today. He went to the office on his motorcycle.

His papa Gita's office is quite large and spacious. Although his father Gita is a director and owner of a company that is arguably big, but his lifestyle is simple and not too excessive. His father Gita is very good, he is famous for being very generous, and always pay attention to his employees.

The Wicaksana Solar Group indeed mastered various fields of construction, including the property business, the field of building contractors, the field of supervisory consultants, the field of planning consultants and the field of housing and real estate development. Gibran took up practical work in the field of planning consultants at the company.

Arriving at the office, Gibran was greeted with files for the dateline on his desk. Gibran interned in the technical section as a planning technical staff. He planned the structure of the building, drawing plans and also budget plans for a building construction project.

Gibran sat in his chair. He was always the first to arrive in the room. The room is not too big. In that room he was together with two other technical staff, Bima and Ridho. Both are permanent employees of the company.

Gibran opened his laptop and started working. He was indeed very diligent at work and did not waste the opportunity that his father Gita gave him. Not long after that Bima came and sat down in her chair.

"Gibran, have you checked the location for the Arion hotel construction plan yet?" ask Bima to Gibran.

"No, Brother. The plan is to go there this afternoon." replied Gibran.

"I have a meeting this afternoon, maybe you can go with Ridho" Bima suggested.

"Sister Ridho today there is a survey to another location, Brother. He promised Mr. Latif." replied Gibran. "I'm not there myself, brother. Not a measurement yet, just check the initial location first" Gibran continued.

"Okay if so, I'm sure you can handle the project" Bima replied with a smile. He was very happy that Gibran came to help with his work. During this time he and Ridho were always troubled to take care of the jobs that always came and demanded to be completed immediately.

"Tok.. tok... tok.." the sound of knocking on the door from outside the room.

"Get in...!" reply Bima.

Mr. Robert, Mr. Surya's assistant, Gita's father, entered the room. He is very senior in this office. Mr. Robert is 10 years older than Gita's father. He is 55 years old and has been devoted to the company for more than 20 years since his father Gita started the company.

"Mas Gibran, you're called Mr. Director to his room" Mr. Robert called Gibran.

Gibran immediately closed his laptop. "Well, sir." replied Gibran as he walked out to Mr. Surya's room.

Gibran very rarely met his father Gita in the office. He had only met Mr. Surya three times in a month, namely when he first entered work, regular monthly meetings and when accidentally one morning met in the parking lot.

'Is there a problem? I think I've been working pretty well.' Inner Gibran.

Gibran arrived at the door of Mr. Surya's room and immediately knocked on it.

"Tok... tok..."

"Come in." replied Mr. Surya from his room.

"Sorry sir, did Mr. Robert say, You call me?" gibran was still standing in front of the open door.

"Look easy, Gibran. Close the door and sit here." said papa Gita, allowing Gibran to sit in the guest chair in front of him.

Gibran sat down immediately. She was a bit nervous because just this time she was in Papa Gita's room alone. The room is quite large with complete facilities in it. In addition to chairs and work tables, there are two cabinets containing neatly arranged books, a large refrigerator, a dispenser, a long sofa to rest on and also a television.

"You want to know if you work here?" ask Papa Gita casually.

"Yes sir., I mean Gibran, Om." replied Gibran correcting.

Papa Gita chuckled at the somewhat nervous answer from Gibran. "Call Om, Gibran" said Papa Gita.

"Well, Om." replied Gibran smiling.

"It's good that you're feeling hard. Om the plan is to keep you here. Yeah, if you don't mind working here" Papa Gita said, offering Gibran.

Gibran was surprised. He was happy to work in this office, but also felt a bit uncomfortable because the owner of this company was his father Gita.

"But Gibran hasn't graduated from college, Om." replied Gibran.

"It's not long before you graduate college. Om very happy with the results of your work that is always satisfactory. You are so talented, Gibran" said papa Gita praising Gibran.

"Thank you, Om. Gibran is very happy to give his best." replied Gibran wisely.

"Oh yeah, what about you and Gita? You're never home again?" ask Papa Gita to divert the conversation.

"Well, Om." Gibran replied lying. He has not been in contact with the Gita for a long time.

"Is that an honest answer?" papa Gita asked again doubting Gibran's answer.

"Emmm... Yes, Om." replied Gibran again. "It looks like we just need some time" Gibran continued, finally being honest.

"You don't know what happened to you and Gita. But whatever it is, Om hope it will not affect our relationship at work. Om really appreciates your talent and your hard work, not because you're Gita's girlfriend or anyone else" Gita explained.

Gibran smiled and nodded. "Yes, Om. Thank you." replied Gibran agreed.

"Alright, you can go back to your room now" said papa Gita.

"Well.." replied Gibran.

Gibran leaves Papa Gita's room. He returned to his room and worked as usual. He thought back to Gita, it has been a long time since he and Gita have not contacted each other. Gibran missed the Gita.

The next day Gibran took a survey to the field. He reviewed the location for a hotel construction plan. Gibran went alone.

Arriving at the site, Gibran immediately made plans for his project. After finishing with her sketches, she planned to eat for a while and then return to the office.

Gibran eats at a fast food restaurant. He queued up to order food and took a seat in the corner of the room, the only available vacant spot since it was lunchtime and all the seats were fully filled.

As Gibran began to eat, his eyes suddenly fell on the figure of two women who had just come, Gita and Lala. Lala queues up, while Gita looks for a seat for the two of them. Gita looked around and her gaze fell on Gibran who was also looking at her. They just stared at each other and were silent for a moment.
