Gita woke up early. He plans to exercise this Sunday morning. He chose the sport of running.
Gita is getting ready to wear her gym clothes. He wears a light-grey sweater with long black training pants. Her hair was pulled high behind her.
Gita visited GOR in the city center by driving her car and intend to exercise run there. Once he got inside the GOR, he immediately warmed up and began to casually run around the circle-shaped GOR.
On this Sunday morning there are many people who also come to GOR to exercise or just walk and gather with family.
It had been 20 minutes for Gita to run and she finally took a break on foot.
Suddenly...
"Brakkk...!" something hit him hard from behind.
Gita fell down and her legs hurt because they hit the road barrier made of concrete. He immediately looked up to see what and who had hit him.
A man of a rather large and tall stature was parking his bicycle. Yes, he who had hit the Gita with his bike because when he drove and wanted to answer the phone call in his pocket, he suddenly lost his balance.
The man immediately approached Gita who was still grimacing while hugging her aching leg.
"Aren't you papa?" asked the man crouching in front of Gita. He looks like he's a little older than the Gita.
"No papa." answered Gita briefly. He actually felt very upset.
"I'm sorry, I suddenly lost balance earlier" the man apologized to Gita.
"Aww..." Gita tried to get up to stand but failed because her legs still seemed too sore to move.
"Here I help" said the man extending his hand to help Gita stand up.
Gita obeyed and let the man sweep her into a nearby park chair. Gita sat down and examined her left calf. It turns out that sure enough, his legs look red and feel will swell.
"We have to compress it" the man said as he crouched back down to look at the wound on Gita's leg.
Gita was confused, how could she drive home if her legs hurt like this. Had Gibran not been far from him, he would have called him here.
"You're here alone?" the man asked again noticing that there was no one else around Gita.
"Emmm... Yes.." answered Gita somewhat hesitantly.
"What did you ride here?" ask the man back.
"Emmm... I brought a car with me." replied Gita.
"You can't drive now with your feet like this" the man said.
Gita looked at him doubtfully. 'Is he a good man?' the Gita in the heart.
"Oh yes, my name is Andra. You can look at my ID card or temporarily confiscate it. I really had no intention of being evil" Andra explained with a slight chuckle.
Gita nodded listening to Andra's explanation. "Emmm... Da... I didn't mean it that way." Gita responded. "My name is Gita." continued Gita introduced herself.
Andra stretched out her hand to shake with the Gita. Gita replies and they shake hands.
"I can help you drive you to your house. I can drive." Andra offered. She looked at Gita's face which she thought was very sweet. He seems to be interested in Gita.
"Emmm.." said Gita still thinking. 'Do I have any other choice?' gita while thinking.
"I also brought a car, but I can leave it while in the parking lot" Andra said again.
"Alright." said Gita finally agreed.
"We need to walk a little near the parking area. Can you still walk?" ask Andra to Gita.
"Yes, it's still." replied Gita.
"But you wait here for a second, I'll put my bike in the trunk of the car first. After that I'll be here again" Andra said.
Gita agreed. Andra immediately got on her bike and headed for the parking lot.
Not long after that, Andra came while running towards Gita.
"May I help you?" ask Andra to Gita. Gita nodded. Andra helped break him into walking near the parking area.
"Where's your car?" andra asked as they arrived near the parking area.
"That's the gray color. Here's the key." replied Gita taking the car keys out of her pants pocket and handing them to Andra.
"Oh... You wait here. I'll take your car" Andra said, ordering Gita to stay in place.
"Yes." answered Gita.
Andra walked towards the parked Gita car. He squeezed the remote in the car key and found the sound of Gita's car. He got into Gita's car and drove her to Gita who was still standing on the sidewalk near the parking area.
Andra stops Gita's car and gets out of the car. He opens the front door for the passengers and helps Gita get into her car.
"Thank you" said Gita as she and Andra sat in the car together.
"Everything... But I still owe you an apology" Andra smiled at Gita. Gita returned her smile.
Andra takes Gita's car to drive away from GOR to Gita's house. Gita leads Andra down the road to her house.
"So you're still in college or you're working?" tanya Andra started the conversation while in the car.
"I'm still in college. You?" ask Gita back.
"I'm in college too. But not here, I'm just on vacation here." replied Andra.
"I don't go to college here either. I went to Merdeka University, about two hours drive from here" Gita said.
"really? Our campus is pretty close. I studied at the University of Nusa." replied Andra. "And I live there" Andra added.
"Oh yeah? Then it's a coincidence that we met here" said Gita responding with a smile.
Andra glanced at the smiling Gita beside her. She thought Gita's smile was sweet.
"I'm in Civil Engineering, this is again in semester 6." replied Gita.
'Civil Engineering semester 6. at the University of Merdeka.' Inner Andra while thinking. He was no stranger to someone who was there.
"Drrrttt.. drrttt.. drrttt.." The vibrating sound of Gita's cell phone made Andra aware of her daydream and Gita immediately raised her call which turned out to be from Gibran.
"Hello.." answered Gita.
"Where are you going, Git?" asked Gibran across there in a somewhat anxious tone.
"I... Emm... I'm in the car again going home." replied Gita.
"Kok my whatssapp is not reciprocated?" ask Gibran again.
"Oh, I haven't read it yet. I ran early in the morning to the GOR, kept getting hit by a bike, kept my feet hurting, and just got home" Gita told Gibran the story this morning.
"What's? You are not papa? I'm there now, okay?" ask Gibran to worry.
"No papa, don't come here. I'm fine, just a little leg pain." replied Gita calmed Gibran.
Andra was still listening to Gita who was talking on the phone. 'Is that the phone call from her boyfriend?' andra wondered in his heart.
"Can you still drive?" ask Gibran on the phone.
"Emmm... Can't." replied Gita briefly.
"How can you go home?" ask Gibran again.
"I.." Gita's answer stopped for a moment. "Turn left in front, Ndra" Gita told Andra to make a turn.
Gibran is still listening on his phone. "The hydra? Who are you again?" gibran asked starting to emotionally think of Gita with others, or even worse with other men.
"Oh, he hit me earlier. But he's in charge of driving me home." Gita answered quickly.
Andra was still listening beside Gita. 'Is his girlfriend angry?' andra wondered again in his heart.
"Where can you go home with a stranger? I'm there right now" Gibran said, really anxious mixed with emotion right now.
Gita began to be upset because of Gibran's attitude which he thought was a bit excessive. "No need, besides you're new from here yesterday, you're not tired, what?" ask Gita with a little emotion.
"Who hit you a boy or a girl?" ask Gibran again still curious.
Gita thought for a moment. If he was telling the truth that hit him and drove him home, Gibran would be even more angry with him.
"Emmm... I'll tell you again when I get home. Yes, I'll call you again." replied Gita finally turned off the phone.
"Your boyfriend?" andra asked as Gita turned off her phone.
"Emmm.." answered Gita thinking. He is confused about his relationship with Gibran. Gibran and Gita have expressed their feelings for each other, but they never 'label' their relationship is a courtship.
"We turn left in front of a little bit, my house number 3" said Gita suddenly realized he was almost at his house.
Andra immediately turned the car around and stopped in front of the fence of Gita's house. Andra immediately went down and opened the fence of Gita's house. He parked Gita's car in her yard. Andra also helps Gita get out of the car.
Meanwhile Bi Inah came and was surprised to see the state of the Gita. He immediately approached and helped Gita.
"Mbak Gita why?" bi Inah asked Gita worriedly.
"No papa, Bi. It's just a footache." replied Gita.
Gita got to the front porch seat and sat there. "Thank you, Ndra. You want a drink first?" tanya Gita offers a drink.
"I guess I'll just go straight. My car is still in the parking lot." replied Andra.
"Okay if so." said Gita. While Bi Inah is still checking Gita's legs.
"I'm straight, Git. I've also messed up Go Car" said Andra pamit.
"Yes please." replied Gita.
"I'm really sorry. Oh yeah, I asked for your phone number, yeah. I want to make sure you're okay" Andra said again asking for Gita's mobile number.
Gita mentions her number and Andra keeps it on her phone. Andra then left Gita's house.
"Aunt get me some warm water first, ma'am. We compress his legs first" Bi Inah suggested.
"Yes, Bi." replied Gita nodding. Bi Inah immediately went in to get warm water in the kitchen.
Meanwhile, at Gibran's...
Gibran was still upset that the Gita had hurriedly hung up. He took his wallet and keys.
"Where are you going, Gibran?" asked Gibran's father when he had just arrived in his living room.
"You'll come out for a minute, Dad." replied Gibran.
"Have you finished Mr Anwar's count?" gibran's father asked him to remember he had to finish his job.
"Hehe... Not yet, Dad." Gibran replied with a slight laugh.
Gibran did work as a freelance consultant while in college. He works for the small company Om Vishnu, his father's younger brother. He works as a consultant planner in construction. Because he was still in college, Om Vishnu allowed him to work at home and pay him according to the results of his work. So, Gibran did not get a fixed salary like other employees.
Gibran is working on a planning count for Mr. Anwar's building project He is planning a structure count, a plan drawing, and a budget plan. But because he was busy for a few days, he almost forgot that tomorrow is the dateline to hand over the planning results to Mr. Anwar.
"I'm done now" Gibran said, canceling his plans to go to Gita's house.
"You've worked with Om Vishnu for a year and just this time forgot about your work. What's the matter Gibran?" ask Gibran's father for attention.
"No papa, Dad. I just forgot." replied Gibran to calm his father down.
"Yes, you finish it now, yes" Gibran's father said.
"Well, Dad." replied Gibran as he walked towards his room.
'I'm going to your house tomorrow, Git, after finishing this.' Gibran's inner self while opening his laptop.
