A week passed after our visit to Gangwon. Senior Jo began to be busy preparing for this exam. Not to mention the university entrance exam for grade 3. I decided to limit the communication between us. Neither me nor senior Jo understood what we had to do. There was no need to contact every day or every time, just meet and talk back already treating my longing to senior Jo.
Every now and then senior Jo called me and asked me a few things. What about my family? Appa and grandpa these days come home late. Eomma and my grandmother shared time with each other for the restaurant and the house. Although at our house there is ahjumma Jung, both Eomma and Grandma always try to accompany me.
This pretty cold morning I left for school among Han's drivers. Autumn will change with winter. The fallen red leaves will be covered with the first snow in Seoul. The trees no longer have "hair" and will bloom again in the following season.
The car driven by Han's driver stopped near the school gate. Not too crowded, because I chose to come early. Without feeling like it will soon change period. Those who come will go, and will be replaced by new. Yes, new students as my juniors later. My feet stepped into the classroom, up the stairs and past the empty classes.
Arrived at the class and sure enough, even the class leader who usually came early had not seen the trunk of his nose. Empty springing up, only myself. I put the bag on the table, I took out the earphones I was carrying. I put on my earphones and listened to music while the class was not crowded. I looked out the window, I held my chin up when I looked outside. The song from Infinite made a flashback when I first came. When acquainted with Sora, first meet senior Jo, and then close to each other until some unexpected event. It feels time to carve out the human story in detail and quickly.
.... Our days are the same but different as it repeats
Our days can’t always be peaceful
Each of us goes through the wind in life
Swaying back and forth like reeds
I may be weak but I’m right here
Relying on the roots that is you ....
I closed my eyes for a moment enjoying the silence. When I closed my eyes I heard someone enter my class. A step that sounds smooth and graceful. Approaching the bench I was sitting on and getting closer. The footsteps stopped beside me, my eyes that were still closed no longer caught the light that pierced my eyes when they were closed. Someone was pushing out the light so I wouldn't feel glare.
I slowly opened my eyes, and sure enough. Someone's palm is in front of me. Judging from his position meant that someone was behind me. I turned around to see him. My eyes were fixed on that person, Jo Eunbyul. Does he know I came early? Senior Jo smiled at me. In the class, there were only two of us.
"Good morning my Eunsoo."
I smiled back to hear it, I missed it. This morning I heard his voice and met him too.
"Good morning, senior Jo."
"I came to say something ..." Senior Jo said.
"What's that?"
"I'm sorry that we rarely see each other these days, but I'm gonna steal time for us."
"I know seniors are busy too, understand me."
"Oh yeah, before the university exam let's go to Namsan."
"Name?"
"Yes! Not only Namsan, let's go to Gyeongbokgung palace and also see Hanmok."
"Mwoy? Suddenly ..."
"In Gyeongbokgung palace we took photos of Hanbok, I will also buy you something."
"You don't have to buy me anything senior ... Let's go over there, let's take a picture, let's make a memory one more time."
"All right! I'll pick you up later. Looks like it's going to start getting crowded, I'm back in class first. Take care of your health, dear!" Said the senior while stroking my head.
"Senior also take care of health. Hye!"
"What will the lunch menu be?" Ask Sora.
"Let's just eat Jajjangmyeon" I replied.
"Oh I really want to eat Jajjangmyeon, but I also want to have lunch in the cafeteria."
"However ... Like ****just."
"I am an***** slim and beautiful!"
"Aish jinjja's. Start again ..."
.....
"Haha! Thank goodness today lunch is not kimchi. If kimchi is better we order Jajjangmyeon." Sora said to me while carrying a lunch tray.
"Yes ... This time it's so good." I answered Sora.
"Cong-by ... The final exam is soon. How's your preparation?"
"That's ... Just go ahead, I also learned enough. I don't want stress."
"Currently, learn enough of what. Your grades are always so good."
"I'm used to getting good grades."
"Of! this blaster's cocky."
"Let's learn together."
"We?"
"Yes ... Me, Junsu and you."
"May also."
"You want some more Sora sausage?"
"You!"
"Take mine."
This lunch I didn't see senior Jo or senior Nam. Some 3rd class seniors were also not seen in the cafeteria. The atmosphere of the canteen was a bit quiet as the seniors skipped their lunch.
After lunch we returned to class. Not much has changed, back to learning as usual until the hour home. The sky began to darken, today also still have to continue additional classes. I checked my phone, there was a message coming in from Eomma. Today Eomma is at home and has prepared dinner. Driver Han who picked me up drove the car towards the tutoring spot.
Even though the car window was closed but the cold I felt was bone-chilling. The night atmosphere in the city of Seoul that has not fallen asleep accompanies the journey to the tutoring place. Kids my age even smaller still pass by for extra classes. Hard for students like us, but I'm used to it. If I hadn't moved to Korea I wouldn't have found a new story in my life.
Every journey makes us more mature, whether we can endure it or not. It's okay, every individual has a different mindset, it doesn't need to be forced and it should be the same.
Where are you? You left everything to me
I’m looking for your everything ...
