My Silver Star's

My Silver Star's
Wooden Chair

"Senior you tumben looks very neat."

"There was a meeting with the commissioner earlier ..."

"Ooh~"

I know this road, it's the way to school. But the senior car passed through our school, leading to another road. I looked at the silent senior, checking his phone. My boyfriend's been very busy, just finished High School but he's busy like a CEO. I looked back at the window, the car we were driving towards the back gate of the school. I know access to the back gate of the school is not just anyone. Ah yes ... Senior Jo is not an indiscriminate person.

The car stopped in front of the gate and the security guards approached us. The driver just opened the window, the security guard said nothing, he also looked back and saw senior Jo. He opened the gate and let us in. The car entered about 250 meters from the gate and then stopped.

"Sir, we're here."

"Geurae~ thank you. I'll go down, don't bring any equipment. Let me take it."

"Your young master."

Senior Jo took me out of the car, he headed to the trunk and picked up his backpack. I've never been to the back gate of school. Some buildings that have long looked aesthetic because I think it looks classic and it's unique. Wildflowers are also seen around the building. Some of the poles were already covered in vines, and the floor was raided by weeds. So cool! This place is cool!

"I brought some snacks that I put in the front drawer. Just wait for us and eat your snacks if you are hungry. Oh yeah, the drink was there too. I'll go first." Senior Jo said to his driver.

"Your young master, thank you."

Senior took my hand and walked to where he was headed. The more inwardly I get to know this place. It's headed for an old basketball court that usually places senior Jo to practice on his own. Because of autumn, the leaves are yellowing and falling around the field. Plus the sunlight that looks golden when shining on the fallen leaves. It's pretty! More beautiful than summer!

I laughed when I saw it. Like there are other dimensions in the school that many people do not know. I walked to the middle of the field, bathed in the shining sunlight. I'm so happy! This place is so beautiful! Senior looking at me who was laughing happily from afar also smiled. It has been 2 seasons in this place, this place is like a different parallel world in each season. No need to go far to enjoy the classic view.

"Senior! Comehere!" Take me to senior Jo.

Senior Jo walked slowly towards me. The bag she was wearing was only one arm. Both senior hands were put into his pants pockets, senior Jo was so cool! Senior approached and opened his backpack. He carried craftsmen's equipment such as nails, wood glue, hammers and also a small saw.

"What's senior bringing that equipment for?" Ask her.

"Let's see that tree." Said the senior with a hand that pointed to one tree.

"What's wrong? A tree?"

"Watch it well."

"That's ... That ... It's squirrels!" I said to senior Jo with a slightly chanted tone that senior Jo was surprised. Seeing me like that senior Jo laughed.

"Usually before winter comes, I fix the bird houses there, at first glance it does not seem feasible anymore because I only fix it once a year."

I was really looking around. There is a bird house occupied by small birds, the condition has looked dilapidated, almost collapsed. The natural wood color blends with the color of the trees as well. And in the tree that senior Jo pointed to was like a small door in the hole of a squirrel house.

"When winter they will hibernate. When I was in 1st grade I found out that one of them was freezing to death. So whenever I get a chance I make a house for them." Senior Jo.

When I saw senior Jo he was already gathering the woods. I approached him, holding one of the woods. Wood with a dark brown color on the outside and about 10 cm in diameter. Senior took off the suit he was wearing, rolling up the shirt on both his arms. I helped to roll up the shirt on his arm so that it wouldn't get dirty later.

"Thank you." Senior Jo said as I rolled up his sleeve.

"I'll help, I'll help."

"No need, lots of nails and sharp wood tips. You're gonna get hurt, fix it won't take long."

I'm following senior Jo's words. Senior Jo told me to sit on a wooden chair. The condition of the wooden chair is dry, so the surface is not wet and dirty. I looked at the senior who was at work. It's not usually someone who works at a desk and computer out of his comfort zone and works like a handyman. Senior Jo's sweat soaked his face and arms.

As senior Jo said, he was already used to repairing those bird houses. It didn't take long for him to fix it. He also fixed a small door on the tree where the squirrel lived. Senior hands dirty, I took mineral water from his bag and helped him wash his hands. I also gave him a tissue and wiped the sweat off his face. I'm glad to see senior is happy too.

"Maybe it's the last year I'm fixing these 'resident' houses ..." Said the senior in a slow tone.

"If senior can't fix it, let me fix it. Only once a year before winter."

"Is this place still there?"

Senior brought his face closer to mine. The senior nose that was sharp came into contact with my nose. Getting closer and ... I pulled back, turned around and threw away the tissue I used to wipe senior Jo's face. I came back and the senior cleaned up the things he brought. I dressed the navy suit to the senior, fixed his slightly messy gray tie.

"Let's go back." Take senior Jo to me, he walks while holding my hand, I follow him.

We walked back and we got to the car. The driver seemed to be enjoying his snack. Seeing us back he hurriedly finished his meal.

"Don't hurry, just enjoy your meal. We'll be waiting for you, in the car." Said the senior seeing his driver eating in a hurry.

"Is it okay, sir?"

"It's okay, we're not in a hurry either."

"Yes, enjoy the food. Oh yea! Sit while eating, so as not to choke." I said to senior driver Jo.

The driver nodded and sat down as he ate. Senior driver Jo looks the same age as driver Han. I have not asked the name of the driver.

"Senior ... May I know what your driver's name is?" I asked senior Jo.

"Oh yeah, I haven't introduced him to you yet. His name is Lee Joon Jae, he's the same age as Han's driver. I've been working with my family since my father was young. His father was also the secretary of my grandfather."

"Oooh so. Then why didn't he become your father's senior secretary?"

"Neither ... But his brother was my father's secretary."

"Whoa! A dynasty!"

Driver Lee finished eating. He apologized for making us wait. We got into the car and the car turned out of the location.

"Are you hungry? Want to eat cake?" Ask senior Jo.

"Cakes? I want red Velvet!"

"Then we go to the usual cake shop I buy cake." Senior said to driver Lee.

"Your young master."

The car goes to the cake shop. The trip was a little long enough until we finally got to a simple cake shop. The design of the store is simple, but crowded with visitors. The cake shop has two floors, an upper floor for VIP visitors and a main floor for regular visitors. Senior took me upstairs, there were some empty benches. The rest is full of visitors.

I sat on the bench that the senior chose, then the waiter came carrying the menu. Senior order 1 piece of red Velvet cake and 1 piece of cheesecake. For drinks I choose original matcha and seniors choose expresso. Before the order came, I looked around where we were sitting. I haven't been to a cake shop since coming to Korea.

"I haven't been to a cake shop since I came to Korea." I said to senior Jo.

"And I was the one who first took you to a cake shop in Korea." Senior Jo said with a smile.

Not long after our order came, the distinctive aroma of the cake I longed for. The relaxing aroma of matcha is also very much missed, although sometimes I make my own matcha at home. I drank matcha first, it tasted so good! Then I started taking a scoop of red Velvet cake and putting it in my mouth. The omo! Very amazing taste! Soft cake and creamy cheese flavor that so creamy combined into one!

Cake shops are crowded. It doesn't feel disappointing! Senior also ate his cheesecake, his expression showing satisfaction as he chewed on his cake. I saw him smile. Just this time I saw the expression of a senior who loved food. Senior spends his cake faster than me, like senior likes cake in this store, or because he is hungry? I also spent my Red Velvet, it didn't feel like spending it because it was too good. Uh! I also forgot to take a picture of the cake.

When I drank matcha, the senior took something out of his suit pocket. Like a paper? No ... It's a brochure. He handed the brochure to me. The brochure is a brochure of a university in China. I put down the matcha cup and grabbed the brochure. Without senior saying anything I know what that means. I looked closely at the brochure and then looked at the senior's face. Senior Jo smiled pityfully at me, I looked back at the brochure and said nothing.

Somedays on rainy days

It's hard to say

What's falling down on me

With all our time

With our all days
