My Old Husband

My Old Husband
Chapter 32's

.........

God squirms, his eyes twitch. Feeling a slight difference in the shoulder he rests on.

"You!" his screeches.

The woman continued to stare straight ahead, as if the beauty of the lake was hypnotizing her from all the circumstances around her.

His heart is now beating faster.

God suddenly stood up, about to leave the place, "Wait." said Jennifer.

"Sit down, we have to talk." His eyes were still staring straight, but the tone was very authoritative.

Aya only noticed the reaction of the two, indeed he was the one who brought Jennifer to come.

This misunderstanding must be resolved quickly. Thought Aya.

"For what. What are you coming for! Oh I know, just relax. All company assets are still in your name. Please take over and I'll go as far as possible."

"No. That's not my goal. Come here." Come here."

The gods flinch, still standing and holding hands on chest. Turn away faces.

"I know you hate me so much. But please listen to my explanation." he said with trembling lips.

The god only grunted in annoyance, "Please" he replied flatly

"Did you know? The reason I left you? It was you alone." his words were cut off because God quickly snatched away.

"Yes! Because you're ashamed, right? Because I'm present in your life, making you no longer feel the freedom of the night world" she sneered.

Jennifer laughed, a laugh that belittled one's stupidity. "I don't think a company leader like you can be so stupid. Hey young man, did all the wealth my late parents left you so busy? Until you can't find the truth about yourself?"

The gods grew increasingly confused with Jennifer's reply, "You don't mess around!"

"Well, they must have poisoned your mind, you were born because it was a mistake. It was my fault for receiving drinks from strangers. Until it all happened." Jennifer lowered her head "But I'm so happy with my pregnancy, I have someone who will share my life with me, unfortunately my parents are against it all. They threatened to kill you if I didn't want to go to college abroad.

For a mother, a child is everything. He'll give you anything even if it's his own life."

"You're just bragging!" Her heart was slightly touched, that the reason Jennifer left was not because she was ashamed, but for the life of God himself.

"They're gone, God. Forgive them. Lately I've started to understand why they ignored me as a child. The business world is so ruthless they're gonna look for weaknesses to take down a rival business, and you know what my parents' weaknesses are? Me, son. Papa busies himself with work and mama is cool with the social world. They love me in their own way. Protecting me from the cruelty of the business world. And, do you know the cause of the accident that killed them? It was papa's competitor."

The memory of God twists, back in her childhood how she was treated, as if understanding what God was thinking, Jennifer goes back to telling stories.

"They really prepared everything, educated you without affection until you became the person you are now, if they don't love you how could you inherit all their wealth?"

True, grandparents even had wills long before the day of his death.

"You're wrong madam, they made me a slave to keep their treasure safe." God said.

"Bk.ck. A slave? Why did they enslave you? They're gone. If you want, you can just squander the treasure, but you didn't. Even your grandfather's business spirit is declining on you."

Slowly but surely, the car that God was driving drove away from the lake.

"I know this is your plan, don't do it anymore" said the God who was still driving.

Aya rolled her eyes lazily, "Yes because you're the one who's going to start coming at her yourself."

The god glared at Aya, making his wife look away.

A week passed, unhindered. The couple has improved, the days passed full of love.

Until one morning horrendous God, Aya went back and forth to the bathroom removing his entrails.

"Hows it? Let's go to the doctor now yeah," God gently nipped his wife's nape.

"No Papa, I'm fine. This is normal for pregnant women."

"Oh so, What!! Getting pregnant? You pregnant? How can?." The god asked in astonishment making his wife turn towards him.

"Of course, because this week I've been beaten all out with you, seven days in a row."

The god smiled, his heart warmed up immediately hugging his wife's body, "As a form of my gratitude, I will be supporting the orphans today. You wanna come?"

Aya nodded..

The car is filled with dozens of paper bags, some containing clothes, toys and food.

After shopping, the car turns around somewhere.

"The orphanage? Are you sure this is the place?" Aya was more and more astonished, is this a coincidence or how. This Orphanage belongs to Jennifer.

And they came to him, and,

The door on tap, you're then opened by Jennifer herself.

The woman's body was riveted.

"Mama, can we come in." God Saying.

Jennifer was so happy, and soon sheathed the God's embrace.

They hugged very tightly as if afraid of being separated again, Aya's eyes glazed watching the haru scene in front of her.

"How can you live this lonely day, Ma." He said after they sat on the living room couch of the home. "Did that guy visit? She even married again, right? said Dewa at length.

"So you mean? Haha, let it go. Let her be happy." Jennifer replied.

"Mama feel betrayed? Because that guy wasn't trying to meet us?"

"No, my mom never loved him. What matters to your mom is you."

Back they hugged, Aya who had just been silent watching joined, "We are rich in teletubbies now" he said.
