Here Comes Amber

3 Months after Bry gave birth to Amber. Amber is a new toy for us. He was in a cradle there, in a cradle here, and V had Wanted a Baby syndrome where every night he asked me to make love, and in the morning he would ask, "Do you feel nauseous? Dizziness? Or not feeling well?"

It makes me feel good, because so there's a burden on every time we have time for both.

"V, stop it!" sahutku upset.

"I'm sorry if I was hunting you too much" she said, then hugged me.

"I know you really want it, but with you like that it makes it a burden for me. Let's go slowly." I asked, and hugged her again.

I'm not too worried about these kids, I'm thinking about my mama, Jean and Jeannete over there. How are they doing? Are they okay?

Every time I take the time to look into the passage of time, to be honest there is a bit of trauma to traverse time back.

We've gathered the four or even the five now, and I don't want us to be apart anymore. Even so, I still can't just let go of my mind.

I enjoyed my days here, especially after Amber's presence in our lives, our house became crowded. The sound of his cries, his laugh, Bry yelling at Kai or V for mishandling Amber. Or I'm the one who fought because of a difference of opinion with Bry. This is a moment I will never forget.

As of now, today is Amber's schedule for immunization, and once home from the hospital, Kai and Bry argue.

"Dream, listen to me. Suppose you have a tiny little baby like my son, then you'll take him for a vaccine, and your child's doctor offers you two options: the first option is a standard-priced vaccine but the chances are your child will have a fever, or a vaccine combo with many times the price, but your child does not have a fever. Which one did you choose? As a mother and a woman? And especially as babtis Amber's mother?" ask Bry.

Kai begged me to side with him, but V had defended Kai first, "If I'm going to make the first choice, the kid has to get sick first so we know his immune system is working." v said steady, and his answer received support and tremendous applause from Kai.

"I will choose the second one, because if the child has a fever or fuss, surely the mother will take care. And his mother could not sleep all night to keep her son even carrying him all night." I replied, Bry pointed his thumb at me.

"What was your choice for Amber?" my many.

"Of course the second option." replied Bry steadily.

"The four of us can take turns to look after him all night if Amber is fussy." I suggested.

And in the end that night, the three of us stood guard for Amber. And let Bry fall asleep, he must be tired from having to pump, and sometimes Amber just wants to drink milk from Bry directly.

"I never imagined having that child would be this cool." said Kai.

"I warned V not to rush into having children. I'm not ready yet." I replied bluntly.

"Kai.." Bry's voice called. The one called out was only Kai, but the three of us were still tailing behind Kai.

"What's Bry doing?" ask Kai. V and I entered the room, and Amber was babbling while sucking on her toes.

"He's a pup, I have to pump his acid, because it's swollen and painful" said Bry.

Kai nodded, "Good Bry... Where's daddy's pretty boy?" kai says and holds Amber, then deftly removes and cleans Amber, and re-wears the Amber pampers.

V learns a little about Kai's abilities, how Kai can absorb all the knowledge about parenting quickly.

After Amber's clean, V and I put her to bed. That's our job. We helped each other, it didn't matter to us, because me and V were happy with Amber.

One morning, Kai and V were thinking seriously.

"What's wrong with you guys, seriously it seems?" my many.

"Our money is running low, we have to work" said V, "I'm going to be a sexy, handsome chef again so I can get a great tip. My good looks haven't faded yet." she said in style.

"Yes." I teased him.

V bit my arm, "Aren't you willing to help your handsome husband?" tanyakanya.

I shook my head, "I'll keep Bry here. If we all work, nobody will help. I think with the two of you working is enough." I said.

They both nodded, "Hopefully, considering that all the prices of necessities in this year are quite expensive. Wanted to cry" said Kai, leaning his head against V's shoulder. Then V patted her soothingly. I just shook my head at the behavior of the two of them.

"Are you sure I don't have to cook for you?" ask V.

We shook our heads, "No need, leave the kitchen to me." I said convincingly.

"I really can't calm down, let alone you've spoken like that." replied V.

I poked my arm around her neck and kissed her softly, "Trust me, baby." I said seducing her.

V returned my kisses, we frowned at each other for some time, "We continue tonight, and pray for me today" said V, peeping at my lips.

I nodded, "Surely. And hopefully we can get back to the year of our time. I miss mama, Jean and Jeannete." I said.

Kai looked at me, "Later I'll go through it and check it out" he said.

"If there's still a flash, don't ask us to go in, Kai. Just pay attention." I asked. Kai nodded.

About the hourglass Kai and I didn't tell V and Bry, because they wouldn't believe something that crazy. Neither would I, if I didn't feel it myself.

V and Kai say goodbye, hopefully they get what they're looking for, and hopefully we won't be here too long either.

After they left, Bry asked me to take care of Amber for a bit. I nodded my head and hurried to look after him, "Hi, pretty boy." I said, "One day, you will take us to the year you will settle down. If it's temporary here. But mommy you're not from here, neither are we. I'm gonna take you in a flying car, drive around the gardens above the clouds, and I'm gonna introduce you to Jean Jeannette, and your granny. But we have to be patient, because I also do not know when the gates of time will open again." I said, inviting Amber to speak.

"Eee...oooo...ao..ee.." replied Amber. And I mean as okay from him.

**EPILOGUE

POV* Kai**

"Kai, there's something I want to talk to you about" Bry said one night.

I'm the one who was talking to V and he came up to her, "What's honey?" my many.

I saw that Amber had fallen asleep, with her mouth open and her stomach full of milk.

"I don't think we need to go back to the future years, Kai. We stay here forever." said Bry.

I was surprised to hear that, "Why baby?" i asked.

"It's okay, we have kids now. Is Amber capable of passing through time? And again I think I'm more comfortable living here. We also don't know when the time gates will open again right?" Bry said.

"But we can't be here. More precisely the Dream that can not linger here." I said.

"Let Dream and V return. But we're staying here. What say?" ask Bry again.

I cannot afford to leave the future, and live in an age where civilization is not as sophisticated as it is today.

"I have to think about it first, Bry. It's not an easy question. And every decision will affect our future." I said.

"So from that, we stay here..."

"I'm thinking about my mom, Bry. He was alone there. Dream still needs me, I'm her bodyguard, and I have to take care of her. That's a promise I have to keep, Bry. Understand." I asked Bryanna.

"I left my parents, even now I only have you, because my family has forgotten me, and so have I. I don't even know my mother's or my father's name" Bry said.

"That's because you're after Voltaire, not my fault. But the problems we face are different now. I'll ask for time to think about this for a moment "I replied, "Rest, Bry. Amber's asleep, now it's your turn to sleep too." I said, and kissed Bry's forehead, and kissed Amber's cheek.

Then I came out the room with a thousand thoughts lodged in my head right now.
