Time Tunnels

"Where are we?" I was afraid of Kai, I was still circling the area looking for V and Bry.

Kai also looked as panicked as I was, "I don't know Dream either. I thought about Bry. He must be scared." said Kai.

"I wish they'd landed in the year we were, Kai." I said, and begged Bry and V to land in the year we were.

I can breathe a little relieved, because V is with Bryanna. If I were with Bry, we might just cry together, waiting for help.

The time gate creaked again, and a flash like it just opened, I took Kai's hand, "Let's Kai come in! We have to keep holding hands so that we don't get separated..hiks.." My tears began to fall down on my cheeks.

Kai hugged me, calmed me down, and grabbed my hand, so I wouldn't be afraid anymore. And we entered the gate of time again.

Splasshhw*...

We were thrown back out of the passageway. Haven't even seen the vortex yet. What's the matter?

"It looks like there's been a time upheaval, Dream. We should be divided into four times. But since we join hands, we show up in a year's time" Kai said.

"Then, what about Bry and V?" I asked again, my stomach feels like something is tickling inside thinking about Bry and V, Bryanna especially.

"I think they're together, that's my hope too" said Kai.

"I'm sure V took Bry's hand. Because the time vortex was surging until it seemed to swallow us, I think V managed to grab Bry's hand while they were in the vortex." I replied, trying to comfort Kai who was in a frenzy.

Kai nodded, "I can calm down a little, if the reality is they are together" he said.

I smiled, and clasped his hand, "V can be relied on. Even though his face and behavior were like that but he was very reliable. Trust him." I said, imagining V panicking about not finding me on landing.

"Thank you Dream, I'm sorry I couldn't comfort you or strengthen you this time. I'm very worried about my wife's condition, and how long we have to be apart like this" Kai said.

"I will comfort and strengthen you. Is that good for friends?" I smiled, "But where are we?" ask me, and start walking down the street.

"When viewed from the conditions, it is not much different from the year of time where we used to travel for a vacation" replied Kai.

"Ah, wait, people are wearing masks. Meaning between the end of 2018 to mid-2021. Is this the year Josh was?" my many.

I thought of all the possibilities that came to my mind.

"Josh is in 2019" said Kai.

" That means, we have to wear masks and all sorts of protection. SARS-CoV2 virus, began to be detected madly at the beginning until the end of this year" I replied, "don't let us die silly here" I warned.

Kai nodded, "Alright, come on."

We walked around looking for a medical store that sold protective gear, and put it on, "It's been a pretty crazy year, the temperatures and the hot weather, plus the presence of this virus, are amazing." said Kai again.

"We should already have immunity, in our year, Sars Cov has seasonal viruses right, the vaccine is clear and guaranteed. We should be strong against this virus." I said.

Kai shook his head, "You're not smart yet, listen. SARS-CoV2 is currently newly discovered, meaning that the virus is still malignant, throughout the course of the virus' life, he must mutate so as not to die. If he's mutated it means he's weak. And in our years, the virus has weakened, the vaccine is not as strong as it is today. If not wrong, this year there has been no vaccine from SARS-CoV2. So, our immunity is useless." explains Kai.

I nodded, trying to understand Kai's explanation of the pathology and physiology of the SARS-CoV2 virus.

"Come, we'll find an inn first, so we can rest" said Kai. I nodded back.

"Are you still walking? As much as possible we do not eat out, considering this virus has just been discovered." said Kai again, "I will cook" he said.

"empty.." I said in despair.

"Panic Buying's. Characteristics of ancient humans. The thinking in this civilization is still about their ego. We'll just take the one." take Kai.

Humans are scary, we visit several supermarkets and the conditions are almost the same, people are flocking to shopping, even one person can bring two trolleys full of groceries and household necessities. Justjust wonderful.

Finally, we found a temporary residence, and Kai provided sanitation inside the house. Kai also cooked food, he doubted my cooking ability, "Dream, you'll help me more, if you sit there quietly, and do what you want to do" he said.

"I just want to help, Kai. I can peel carrots, or peel onions.." I said.

"And it ends with a cry from you? Your tears drip because of the influence of the onion you peel, but with your acting skills, the cry of peeling an onion, can turn into a cry out of your heart. Nah! Sit down." said Kai.

I frowned in annoyance, and I ended up just lying in the room, thinking about how V and Bry were doing. Hope they're okay.

**EPILOGUE

V and Bry POV**

"V, where are we?" bryanna asked me. I'm still driving around looking for Dream and Kai.

"I have to find the Dream first, Bry. You calm down here." I said.

"How can I calm down, if you panic and go around like that?" bry asked annoyed.

I stared at him, "I'm afraid something might happen to them, Bry. And why are we separated like this?" my many.

I don't get it. This has never happened as long as we've been across time, to any year.

Bry looked around him, and walked over to observe our landing site, "V, I think we're still in 2022. Just we're out at a different time gate. Is it possible, Kai and Dream are also in this year? And show up in a different place?" ask Bry.

I shrugged my shoulders, I couldn't think clearly, but this kind of situation, and now that I'm with Bry, means I have to calm down and think.

"We need to find a place to rest first, Bry. Are you still capable? Or do we go to that cafe for a second?" my many.

Bry nodded, "I can still, I just asked for your help to hold me while walking, because you know (Bry pointed at his stomach), it's getting heavy" he said with a smile.

"Sure, I'll help you. Is there any food you want to eat?" my many.

She shook her head, "There's nothing special, I'm just going to need milk for pregnant women, and I'm free to eat anything I want to eat" she replied.

So, we walked, and saw a supermarket, we stopped by first to buy all the necessities. After shopping, I took Bry to sit down and enjoy a lemon-flavored popsicle.

I was looking for an inn or a house we could stay in for a while, because we didn't know how long we'd be here. Once I got there, I rented a car to help us go everywhere. Then we headed to our temporary inn.

"Hopefully we'll regroup soon, Bry. And hopefully Dream and Kai will be fine, even I'm afraid to imagine them being separated. What can Dream do but cry, right?" I expressed my concern to Bry.

Arriving at home, Bry spread out his legs, and his face looked extremely panicked and frightened,

"V, it looks like I'm going to give birth soon" she said.

I widened my eyes, "What??!! It's only been eight months?!!" my mouth is panicking.

Bry shook his head, "I don't know, but this fluid keeps coming out of here." he said, revealing a warm white liquid coming out from between his legs.
