Flashbacks

The living room suddenly became gripping, only the sound of the clockwork beating of the earthy walls could be heard. Mom sat down on Rain and Ega. Rain clasped Mom's cold hand. They seem to be giving each other strength. Dada Rain roared violently with a chaotic feeling. Mr. Riko still refused to talk.

Ega himself sat down repeatedly squeezing his fingers. The aunt who sat apart could only look at him sadly.

"Speak, Rick. I'm ready". Mother managed to calm herself down.

Mr. Riko let out a long sigh, taking turns glancing at Rain and Ega. Mr. Riko got up from his seat, tried to calm down and stood looking out.

In a vast tea plantation a 17-year-old girl with a sweet face hummed cheerfully to a basket she used as a place to hold the results of her tea. Zein, the long-haired girl with one dimple on her left side always looks beautiful from any side. That day she wore a short-sleeved knee-length dress in broken white with black flip-flops that contrasted with her pure white skin. Zein continued to smile as he plucked the tea leaves. If the employees do it in the morning, then Zein does it in the afternoon because his lover forbids Zein mingling with other employees so that no man enjoys her beauty. Most of the tea pickers were mothers, including Mrs Zein herself.

"I told you not to go far" The voice of her lover who screamed was lost in the wind. Still heard by Zein, but he pretended to ignore it.

"Look, Rik. How can I not try if He is rich?" Rakha snorted annoyedly at Zein's behavior ignoring his warning.

"Do I need to take him in front of Loe? I won't mind carrying him here" Riko said as she continued to look at the beautiful smile.

"Gue cut off Loe's head if brave" Rakha pushed Riko's shoulder while running small to approach her lover who was in the middle of the plantation.

"Mas Rakha habit ya like maksa, this new little Mas" Zein showed her tea basket.

"Darling, that's it. Even this entire estate could be yours if you want to marry me" Rakha dragged her lover by force. They walked with Rakha wrapping her wrists around Zein's slender waist.

"Hai Riko, Loe will be a mosquito again today" Zein greets Riko as she throws her face with tea leaves. Sick? no. gabe. The heartache, seeing a loved woman making out with another man.

"Mulu Loe boss's date, wedlock" Shouted Riko teases Rakha.

"Now I'm getting married if He wants to" Rakha spoke without stopping.

"I'm not ready yet, Mas" Zein pinched quietly into Rakha's stomach. They reached their destination, a terrace of the house directly facing the plantation. There is a round table and four wooden chairs there. They sat down and before long Rosa came out carrying a tray containing four cups of hot tea whose smoke was still billowing. Zein immediately took one of those cups. He deliberately inhaled a puff of smoke from the tea.

"Be careful, baby. Still hot, your habit is" Rakha stroked the darling of Zein's straight hair.

Rosa and Riko throw each other a glance, seeing the behavior of the two. Rosa, Riko, Rakha and Zein are four friends with different backgrounds. Rosa, Zein, and Riko are the children of the tea pickers who work on the plantation. Rakha is the only son of the tea owner. Rosa, Zein and Riko were born and raised in a tea plantation environment and have been friends since childhood. While Rakha himself only a year ago set foot on the plantation because his parents died, he must continue to monitor the state of their plantation. Rakha did not settle down, only occasionally coming. Not taking care of the real estate, but to meet his new lover he dated a month ago. From the beginning Rosa had put her heart on Rakha but she held back because since the first came Rakha had openly said she liked Zein. Zein is hard to get, Rakha even had to wait 11 months for her love to be reciprocated. Zein is special, Riko her heart always shakes to see Zein smile even though the smile is not for her.
