8. Silent Attention

Bella walks back and forth in a room that has been agreed as the meeting place of Aiden with Mr. Thomas. Bella occasionally glanced at the clock that was coiled around her wrist.

Then, Bella sighed in annoyance as they had been waiting for half an hour, Mr. Thomas had yet to come.

There was only one man who was Mr. Thomas's men. The short man with blacks had said Mr Thomas would be a little late because there was little interference.

"When do you want to wait like this? Where's Mr Thomas? You know, Mr. Aiden's schedule is very tight," Bella ruffled her waist at Mr. Thomas's men with a fierce face.

Mr Thomas' men bowed. He did not know why his master had not yet arrived. He had attempted to call Mr. Thomas but was not picked up.

"Sorry, Miss. Let's just wait a minute."

"waiting? Mr. Aiden has wasted precious time just waiting" Bella said angrily.

Aiden who was sitting casually saw Bella taking care of her meeting with Mr. Thomas also pulled one end of the lips. Not wrong, Bella is indeed a reliable secretary.

Then Aiden's gaze was fixed on Rania who had stood up without doing anything.

Then Aiden shook his hand to signal Rania closer. Rania leaned in as Aiden whispered something in her ear.

"You saw Bella! He's a reliable secretary."

Rania glanced at Bella. Yes, Rania also admitted that Bella is a great woman who is versatile. Unlike her who sucks at everything and is always careless.

"Then, what can I do, Boss?"

"You'll just stand there in the corner during my meeting with Mr. Thomas."

Aiden pointed to the corner of the room that contained ornamental flower pots and Rania also said without refuting. The girl stood right beside the pot with a flat expression.

Oh, my God, he was told to be like that. Aiden said inwardly as he clucked.

Before long, a tall skinny man wearing a luxurious suit walked into the room. He's Mr. Thomas, Aiden's business partner. They shook hands, before finally sitting on the sofa.

"Thank you for waiting, Mr. Aiden. Sorry for my delay."

"No problem, Mr. Thomas," Aiden answered briefly.

"Okay, let's go straight to our discussion but wait a minute. Who's that woman over there?" Mr. Thomas pointed at Rania who was standing in the corner.

"Just ignore it, Mr. Thomas. It was just a mannequin deliberately displayed by the hotel, "Aiden replied casually.

Again Bella curled her lips to form a smile when Aiden thought Rania was just a statue.

The determination to have Aiden grows bigger in Bella.

During the discussion, Rania let out an occasional sigh of jolting her legs which started to feel tingling. However, he does not want to interrupt Aiden's serious talks with Mr Thomas and prefers to stand by orders.

Until finally the meeting was over and Rania could breathe a sigh of relief.

"Mr Aiden, as a form of forgiveness for me who was late, how about I buy lunch?" bargain Mr. Thomas who was directly approved by Aiden.

It makes Rania again frustrated. That means he still has to stand.

Thomas and Aiden went to the hotel restaurant. The two businessmen along with each of his secretaries sat at the VIP table.

Semantara Rania is allowed to sit but different table with Aiden.

"Servant, please order a mainstay menu here for four people," said Mr. Thomas who counts himself, Aiden, Bella and Mr. Thomas' secretary.

Mr. Thomas did not count Rania because he did not know that she was also Mr. Aiden's secretary. After all Rania was sitting apart with the four of them.

Suddenly Bella raised her hand. "Wait on! Do you know what the mainstay menu is at this restaurant?"

"Baked oyster, miss," said the maid.

"Oh sorry, happened to be Mr. Aiden allergic osyter so one menu replaced only tenderloin steak with medium maturity level."

Aiden frowned when he realized Bella knew exactly the food and also the level of maturity she liked. While Bella only returned Aiden's gaze with a sweet smile.

Bella smiled shyly. "As a good secretary of course I know, sir."

"Well, well, well, you're lucky to have a secretary as great as Bella, Mr. Aiden," Mr. Thomas who saw, came to praise Mr. Aiden's secretary.

At another table, Rania sat looking at Aiden and Bella who looked like lovers. Rania realizes the long-suffered gaze of a Bella Aiden's head.

Even when the food was served, Bella was so attentive to the initiative of slicing steak so that Aiden just stay devoured it.

"Excuse me, Miss, would you like to order something?"

The question of a servant brings Rania's attention from her gaze toward Aiden and Bella. Rania turned to the waiter and tried to open the menu book.

But after Rania flips through every page of the menu book, Rania does not find a food menu that fits in her pocket.

All the food in the store is each priced at a price that is quite draining Rania. Even the cheapest menu is equivalent to Rania pocket money rations for a week.

Then Rania closed the book, handed it to the waiter while smacking a shy smile, "I order lemon tea only."

"Good, Miss."

The waiter left and shortly after, Rania's order was delivered with a plate of tenderloin steak.

Rania frowned astonished at the plate of steak placed on her desk. Makes Rania think if the waiter placed the order wrong.

"Sorry, but I didn't order a steak."

"Steak is free for Miss" the servant explained.

"Really?" Rania asked in disbelief. "Thank you then."

Rania sliced the meat of the steak and directly devoured it. Without him noticing a pair of beads Aiden's eyes observed from a distance and the man gave a faint smile.

"Sir, your order has been delivered" reported the waiter who had delivered the steak to Rania's desk. 

The waiter leaned over and whispered beside Aiden, so that no one would hear but Aiden and the servant himself.

Aiden replied with a small nod and the waiter left.

After lunch, Aiden, Bella and Rania make their way to the car park where Abe is waiting for them to arrive.

Abe bowed his head in salute as Aiden was hovering right in front of him.

"Rania, you're back in the office with Abe."

"Where are the bosses and Bella going?" the honest Rania asks she doesn't like Aiden and Bella is getting close.

"It's none of your business. Now get in Abe's car!"

Rania must obey Aiden's orders. He occasionally glanced in annoyance at Bella who was smiling to herself.

"Abe, you take Rania. Me and Bella have a need for a minute."

Abe lowered his head. "Good, Sir."

Unwelcome, Bella happily entered Aiden's super-luxury car. 

Aiden suddenly stopped his steps. He turned his body to stare back at his personal assistant.

"One more, Abe. Buy an anti-irritant for Rania."
