19 Because of Me

Carlos stepped among the employees of Irawan Group who fought with computers and went back and forth carrying a pile of files. In Carlos' hand was a paper bag.

Carlos glanced at the paper bag at a glance, then gave a faint smile. Carlos' footsteps led him all the way to Aiden's room and without being asked, he sat down casually on the sofa.

While the owner of the room was just grunting because of the arrival of the original guest entered and sat down arbitrarily.

"Bro, can you please call Rania? I have a need with him" said Carlos casually.

"You think my room is a cafe that can be used as a meeting place?" sahut Aiden ketus's. "You just call Rania!"

"That's the problem, Bro. I don't have his number. Now you call Rania! After I talk to him, I'll get out of here soon."

Aiden picked up the office phone handle to contact Rania and asked the woman to come to his room.

Before long, the door opened and Rania walked in with a surprised face. Especially when he saw Carlos sitting looking at him.

Then Carlos patted the empty space beside him. I asked Rania to sit down.

Next, Carlos gave a paper bag to Rania who had glanced at the contents of the paper bag, then looked at Carlos with a frown.

"I bought you a dress for you to wear at our dinner later," said Carlos understand the confusion experienced by Rania.

"But, Mister…"

"Don't call me sir," Carlos interrupted Rania's words. "Call Carlos!"

Rania smiled and said, "Well, thank you, Carlos, just."

Rebellion Rania's plain words managed to make Carlos laugh and Aiden who was sitting in the chair of his greatness look tightened his jaw.

"By the way I know why your parents named him Carlos," Rania's lips curled a smile while Carlos frowned.

"Why?"

"Because when you were born, your parents lost their car. That's why you're called Car loss."

The sound of forced laughter echoed throughout the room but it was not Carlos or Rania who chuckled but Aiden with the glare of his sharp eyes.

"Not funny" Aiden scorned.

Carlos himself just shrugged and turned to Rania. He would rather ignore Aiden and resume talks with Rania.

"One more!" Carlos pulled out the phone. "I haven't asked for your number."

Rania receives Carlos' phone and types in a row of phone numbers. Then return the phone to its owner.

Rania immediately withdrew as soon as she felt the gripping air that filled the room. Carrying the paper bag that Carlos gave her, Rania walked with wide steps leaving the room.

Meanwhile, the smile never faded from Carlos lips. He whistled merrily and approached Aiden.

"You're asking Rania out? I didn't expect your taste to now turn to a geeky, careless and innocent girl" Aiden sneered in ridicule at Carlos.

But Aiden's old friend sighed. As if he did not care about Aiden's ridicule and was not at all emotionally ignited.

"Open your eyes, Aiden. To me Rania is a beautiful, unique, funny woman and most importantly.." Carlos slightly lowered his sunglasses to reveal one mischievous flashing eye. "She's still a virgin."

In the next instant, Aiden got up and squeezed Carlos' coat collar very strongly. Pulling the man closer to his face was now furrowing furiously.

"You! Don't mess with her!" aiden's two beads of eyes shone in anger and he hissed full of threats. "Or I will kill you!"

Carlos chuckled and threw Aiden's grip from the collar of his suit. He shook his hands like he was driving away flies.

"Calm down, Dude! I was just kidding. Why are you so serious?"

Without needing to get an answer from Aiden, Carlos passed away with a happy heart and impatiently waited for the night time to arrive.

Carlos mood was inversely proportional to Aiden who still kept the flames of anger in his chest. He was still standing dumbstruck and both hands clenched tightly.

Then, with just one move, Aiden threw all the stuff on the desk until it all fell on the floor.

Then Abe looked up at Aiden with hunting breath and chest that rose and fell like a bull was raging.

As far as Abe is concerned, Rania and Carlos have just walked out of the room. After that Aiden was indignantly unclear. So Abe concluded that his boss was burning with jealous fire.

"What's up, Boss?" Abe dared to ask. 

Now Abe has contracted Rania calling Aiden with the greeting 'Boss' instead of 'Master'. 

"No," Aiden replied briefly with a face that was still growling.

"Bos is jealous of Rania and Carlos?"

Aiden's eyes glared for a moment and cast a glance at Abe.

"Who is jealous? I'm not jealous!"

Then Aiden darted out and changed into the secretary's room. There both Rania and Bella jumped in shock when Aiden entered by slamming the door.

Aiden's footsteps lead to Rania's desk. He bowed his body with a face full of anger.

"I'm giving you the task of designing a new project and it should be presented tomorrow week!" aiden looked at Rania.

Bella who listened, immediately smiled. Because he was sure if Rania would be overwhelmed.

While Aiden grinned thinly. His attempt for Rania to fail to date Carlos will definitely succeed this time around.

Rania looked back at Aiden. Then nod steadily. He was not at all afraid or complaining because for Rania this was an opportunity to prove if he could work well.

From that day on Rania worked overtime. Similarly, Aiden who deliberately linger in the office in order to keep an eye on Rania.

However, at exactly seven o'clock in the evening, Aiden saw Rania out of her room and had been wearing a dress bought by Carlos.

Red dress with collar v-neck model that is very low to almost show cleavage.

Aiden grunted annoyedly. Soon he came out of his room to catch up with Rania.

While directly behind Rania, Aiden forcibly twisted the girl's shoulder. Makes Rania squeal in shock.

"You can't go with him!" aiden's word gripped Rania's shoulder very strongly.

"Why? The boss has no right to rule my personal life!" Rania tries to break free but, for free.

Aiden's gaze suddenly changed. But unfortunately Rania did not look in Aiden's eyes. 

"Rania, you don't get too innocent or you'll just be played by Carlos."

"What does the boss care if I'm being played?" Rania asked.

"Because of me…"

"Rania," the call from Carlos cut off the words Aiden was about to say.

At the same time diverted the attention of Rania who was now turning her head and smiling at Carlos. Rania hastily broke free as soon as Aiden's clutches loosened.

Carlos who walked over to Rania, immediately took the woman's hand to lead her out of the deserted building.

Aiden who seemed not to be considered his existence, stared at the two backs that were getting away. 

Rania and Carlos walk together while chatting casually which somehow makes Aiden's chest feel hot.
