Second meeting

"You're so pretty, man,"

Lovi smiled with a blushing face. He looked up and then shouted, closing his eyes. Devan stood in front of the bathroom using only a towel around his waist.

"Devan get your clothes on now!"

Devan laughed loudly. Lovi's reaction was expected before. Because Devan very rarely comes out of the bathroom without clothes, Lovi so not used to this.

"You're like a girl" he said in an amused tone. Lovi sneered angrily, "You usually wear clothes from the bathroom. Now why is it like that?"

Devan shrugged his shoulders indifferently then walked into the walk in closet to wear his party clothes.

Lovi stood up and looked at the mirror once more. Her appearance was already quite charming for a birthday party. Lovi smiled looking at her bulging stomach. It's the first time Lovi attended a party during her third child's pregnancy.

Devan wore a silver suit matching Sabrina's dress. Lovi purposely aligned their clothes for tonight. Both of their children also wear the same suit and shoes as Devan.

"We're very compatible, dear."

Devan was amazed to see Lovi who was wearing party shoes with low heels. Then he looked at his own appearance. Devan shook his head slowly with a very exaggerated expression.

"I'm so handsome, my God."

Lovi got up and curled her husband's arm in annoyance. Lovi who is female alone does not have much behavior at times like this. Even his confidence was very low when compared to Devan.

The security section of the mansion instantly opened the towering high gate as Devan's car reached in front of him.

Adrian and Andrean get out of the car. Jane screamed happily when she found the twins.

The party's festivities make Vanilla a little uncomfortable. Usually this kind of atmosphere is what he likes. Many, full of happiness, and forget all the problems for some time to come.

Andrean touched his arm so as to make Vanilla lower his body for a while. Because Andrean seemed to want to whisper.

"Aunty has to accept the ice cream Adrian got. Rather than Aunty silently daydreaming, it's better to enjoy ice cream" she happily exclaimed. Lovi smiled watching her son's interaction with Vanilla. Now his sister-in-law is flanked by Andrean and Adrian.

Thanatan's family came to the Raihan family's special table. He smiled and joined.

"Who's the birthday? isn't your son studying in a country of people?"

"It's done. It's even working, Rai."

Jhico and his mother came to sit with them. Jhico greets Raihan, Rena, Devan, and his wife. Then turned to look at the girl who was busy exchanging stories with two boys.

"Ah yes, this is Vanilla, my daughter."

Raihan understood Jhico's gaze. Maybe he was curious but could not say hello first. So Raihan started it.

Vanilla who felt her name called turned to her papa. He feels introduced. Or just his feelings?

"Vanilla, it's Jhico."

Jhico already knows Vanilla. Raihan and Rena also tried to recall the young man's figure because they felt they had met before.

"Are you a doctor?"

Jhico did not focus on listening to the chatter of his father and Raihan. Because once again his attention was only to Vanilla who had always looked happy when her nephew asked her to joke. Apparently this is the girl's face when laughing. Because when I met at the hospital, all Jhico found was a deep sadness.

"I managed to force Devan to become a businessman. He wanted to be a pilot. You didn't seem to have conquered Jhico, either,"

Devan seemed to grunt at the words of his father. Can't forget how evil Raihan was when he defied Devan's wishes. Devan was completely suppressed until he had no more options. And honestly Devan salutes Jhico. He can survive on his own will. It can even prove that there is nothing wrong with the profession of a doctor. At a young age, he managed to make his parents proud of his achievements and without a family name behind his success.

Lovi who understood Devan's excitement, touched the man's palm until Devan turned his head.

She thought her husband always lived as she pleased, and was free to make choices. Apparently not, Devan has even been in a very difficult position. Jhico and Devan have their own way of life. They are successful with achievements in different fields. Devan successfully established a company everywhere, while Jhico successfully won the title of doctor with the best value.

His dream of becoming a pilot may not have been realized. But Devan hopes one of his children has the same dream as him.
