"Ma, you can't go with Devan?"
Devan immediately turned to his sister who was trying to ask permission to go with his friends. Lucky Rena immediately shook her head firmly.
"No way, Vanilla. Vacation does not mean always have fun. You should learn to graduate quickly. Not ashamed of being an immortal student?"
If Rena had allowed Vanilla to take Devan with her when she got together with her friends then what would Devan do there? While waiting for Vanilla who will certainly be busy discussing all topics with his friend.
Besides, Devan is tired of seeing the reaction that Vanilla's friends show when they meet him. Since he was in college Devan has been the target of the girls at the Vanilla school he met when he was dropping off or picking up his single sister.
"I'm graduating this year. Mama take it easy, "Resolute Vanilla with a reassuring smile.
"Mama's tired of hearing it but you never made it,"
Devan was silent to witness the small debate between Rena and Vanilla. The man prefers to enjoy the warm coffee that has been served while struggling with his laptop on the weekend this time.
Raihan was busy working in his study on the ground floor while Devan also never left his job even though he was on holiday like now. Both are engaged in work.
"You better learn!"Rena's orders to her youngest child.
With annoyed Vanilla left the living room of course with a mouth that grumbled to make Rena shake her head.
"You too, Devan!" Show Rena to the pinched Devan confusedly looking at her.
"Why?" Ask the man flatly.
"You're too busy working. Try to approach with Lovi. You always hurt her, "Of course what she just heard made Devan laugh softly.
What other jokes is Rena making? Just hearing it makes Devan sick especially if you do it. Devan is not out of thought with Rena.
"What did mom say? I'm making an approach with him? Wh-wh-what for? I bought it just to serve me. I wouldn't do that with a bitch like her. I already have Elea when mama forgets," Devan asserted her words very sharply. Of course Rena's speech made her emotional.
"Why does my mom seem to love him so much?"
"She's like my mom's daughter, Devan"
Devan smiled cynically and looked at Rena sharply.
"Then Elea? What did Mama consider it?Why is my mother's treatment of that woman and Elea so different?" Devan. He sipped his coffee for a while before continuing.
"Elea still has everything. Like an old man, a treasure, and you of course. But Lovi? He's different, Devan."
"There's nothing in Lovi's life. The woman was living in her solitude," Devan turned his head when he found Rena looking down like she was holding back tears. He thought hard why did Rena get like this just because of Lovi?
"He did something up to mom like this?" Tanya Devan urged Rena.
'Maybe that bitch threatened Mama? ' Guess Devan in his mind.
"What you're accusing is a big mistake. Even to talk to Mama for a while, Lovi really avoids it. Because what? You know the cause, of course,"
"After yesterday's incident where you thought Lovi had done wrong to Elea, Surely Lovi will increasingly avoid all things related to you,"
"That's great. Because if he ever dares to touch my life, I won't hesitate to end his life,"
Devan thinks this talk is enough. He did not want to express his emotions to his mother. He quickly got up and took his laptop with him.
But Rena did not stay silent. He held his son's arm to stay seated next to him.
"Devan!"
The man put his laptop on the table with emotions that almost exploded. The look in his eyes was very sharp piercing Rena.
"Your hatred is based on nothing!"
"You hurt her enough!" This time Rena pressed every word that came out of her mouth. His black bead retorted no less sharply the gaze of his son. Rena tried to break through Devan's fortress. He dived Devan's gaze as deeply as possible to give him understanding.
"Then what did Mom expect? I treated her like Elea? That so?"
"Try learning to appreciate something,"
"I have appreciated it by giving three billion dollars to pay for all of his hard work in my service. Appreciate what else you want?" with his voice Devan answered Rena's speech. Until Rena got up from her seat and stood in front of Devan.
"You will understand when everything you have leaves you one by one. That's where you'll realize how important it is to appreciate something that's already within your grasp,"
