My Choice of Woman

My Choice of Woman
Episode 82

Sweat soaked all over the body, the sound of his breathing gasping. It was an incredible pain. This pain arises because nerve cells called nociceptors are active when parts of the body experience pain in a certain level. As Rahma felt at this moment. The nerve cells send signals to the brain, it causes pain because contractions are often accompanied by other flavors, such as nausea, tension and various other pain meddling.

Such is the struggle of a woman who wants to present a little angel that grows from her womb. For nine months he was sheltered in a place filled with affection. The uterus is an organ that is only owned by women. The realm where humans first formed his body before it was truly powerful to be born into the world.

Currently Rahma is struggling to give birth to her baby, all the energy has been released. Encouragement to push the baby's head out. Medical experts on standby, the woman in a white coat gives instructions for Rahma to take a breath, sometimes she sees whether the baby's head has been seen or not.

Outside the room, Akmal was even restless. Every now and then Akmal sat down, wiggling his legs. His face turned to look at the delivery room door. Farah realized that, she just assumed that Akmal's anxiety was an anxiety in the feeling of friendship. Akmal and Rahma are from the same orphanage.

A very real struggle in a woman, risking her life and death. Rahma's face was getting sweaty, her breathing was wheezing, she was still enduring her pain. His sight was a little blurry.

I'd love to see you, you little angel mother.

Rahma shed tears that felt warm. Once again the push, the baby's head is already visible. The medical staff are ready. “Come buk, a little more!” one of them shouted at Rahma to try to push even more.

“Haaaa ..” Rahma's relief breath.

The baby made it out of his mother's stomach, he climbed into a new world. The cry of the baby echoed in the room. The baby is still blindfolded and still red. One of the nurses cleaned the baby, which was still covered in blood and mucus. Then continue cutting the umbilical cord. All post-birth procedures of the baby have been performed.

“Bu Rahma, happy baby is healthy and male,” said the doctor.

Rahma felt happy after going through this pain, now she was lying limp. His hand was attached to an infusion hose. All this pain makes him happy. Rahma painted her smile.

Akmal and Farah gasped at the sound of a baby crying in the room. There was a feeling of relief mixed with curiosity. Akmal was already standing in front of the door of the room, hoping to get inside the room soon.

One of the nurses was carrying her baby who was clean of blood and mucus. The baby is still crying, maybe that's the way to greet the world. The nurse placed the baby she was carrying in Rahma's stomach. Sure enough the baby was a little calmer to feel the temperature of his mother's body. You could say this is a true statement, as expensive as any cot remains comfortable warm embrace from his mother.

Rahma's little baby crept down her mother's warm stomach. Rahma saw her little baby, she was moved happily. He was crying in happiness. The baby was traveling through the warm body of his mother. He wanted to find his mother's areola, his first trip. Rahma felt her tiny baby skin creeping towards her chest. Very calm, the baby's eyes are still closed. In his hand was still attached the smell of amniotic fluid that led him to immediately find his mother's areola that smelled the same.

The baby kept moving, it was there. The baby banged his head on Rahma's chest. On target! The baby managed to find his mother's mammary areola, he immediately smelled the areola and he was sucking colostrum, which is the first ASI to come out.

Farah sent a short message to her husband, telling him that Rahma had given birth. Not long after the doctor came out of the room, he immediately dicercal questions that bertubi from Akmal.

“Congratulations Sir, your wife gave birth safely, her baby is handsome and cute. Now it is still breastfeeding, later after that you can immediately abuse the baby,” said the doctor.

Actually Akmal wanted to protest that he was not Rahma's husband, but seeing the doctor who immediately left made him cancel saying that. Suddenly Farah's cell phone rang, he begged Akmal to pick up the phone from Ilham. Akmal just nodded.

Akmal enters the room where Rahma is being treated. Moonlight exposure enters the glittering window grille. Both of Akmal's eyes caught the figure of a woman lying on it, on top of which was a tiny creature. They were both in warm blankets. Akmal commented on his smile seeing the beautiful sight.

Akmal walked over to Rahma and her baby. She was happy to see Rahma now a full mother to this tiny baby. The baby is done sucking colostrum. A nurse came to take the baby from his mother's body, and she gave the baby to Akmal for diazani.

Akmal received the baby's body, very tiny. He felt a sense of happiness as well as sadness when he looked at the face of this baby. The happiness that Akmal feels is, baby Rahma was born safely and nothing less. Then the part of Akmal's sadness is that this baby doesn't have a father in one bond. Rahma alone does not know who the man who fathered her son.

Akmal steadied his heart. He called for the sound of azan in the right ear of the baby.

Allaahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. Allaahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.

Asyhadu allaa ilaaha. Asyhadu allaa ilaaha.

Ashhadu anna Muhammadar. Ashhadu anna Muhammadar.

Hayya ‘alfalaah. Hayya ‘alfalaah.

Allaahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.

Laa ilaaha.

Akmal's voice sounded very soft and made the baby calm. Rahma shed her tears watching Akmal ravage her baby. Now alternately, Akmal calls out the iqomah in the baby's left ear. He still seemed to be calmly enjoying the soft strains of the voice.

Akmal took a breath. Again he strengthened his heart.

Allaahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.

Asyhadu allaa ilaaha.

Ashhadu anna Muhammadar.

Hayya ‘alashshalaah's.

Hayya ‘alfalaah.

Qad qaamatish shalaa, qad qaamatish shalaah.

Allaahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar.

Laa ilaaha.

Akmal's eyes are a little watery. He gave the baby back to the nurse to be bathed. Rahma was still sobbing hearing the astonishing groan. He wiped the corners of his eyes that were already wet.

“Is your baby named?” ask Akmal.

Rahma shakes. “I haven't even thought of what name is appropriate for my baby.”

“May I give it a name?” Akmal asked once more.

Rahma nodded in approving answer to that question. Akmal thought hard, what a name that matches the baby boy. He walked to the window on the side of the room. Akmal opened a little window mosquito net, he saw the moon shining very chubby, full round. Instantly Akmal had a name that had just crossed his mind.
