My Choice of Woman

My Choice of Woman
Episode 49's

Farah traveled about 3 hours to get to her destination, Numa City. He got off at the city station. The first thing Farah did when she got to the station was to look for Mushola, to carry out her duties.

Farah prayed to the Almighty so that Inspiration would always be in protection and soon be reunited with Farah. After completing her mandatory service, Farah rushed out of the train station. Once again Farah saw the address of the branch of the new Ilham shop.

Farah has never been to Numa City, only ever heard his name which is famous for the best private universities and artificial forests in the city which is a tourist destination.

Farah tried to book a taxi online via her mobile phone. He set his destination, finished, then Farah waited for the pick-up.

Farah felt the air was unpleasant, she looked up her head looking up at the sky. Farah saw the sun covered in gray clouds. The dark cloud clumps were like forming terrible vortexes. Soupy. Make goosebumps.

Suddenly the white car stopped right in front of Farah. The car driver came out, “What's this right with Mbak Farah ordering a taxi online?” ask the driver.

“Iya Sir, it is true that I ordered a taxi online.” Farah got into the car.

It turned out that the journey took almost an hour, according to the online taxi driver Kota Numa was making improvements, the area close to the train station was the city center. But now the center of Numa City has been moved near private universities and artificial forest tourism. Farah nodded listening to the taxi driver online speak.

Unexpectedly, a tree collapsed in the middle of the road, making the car driver was quick to stop and brake this car suddenly, surprising his passengers. Luckily, there was no vehicle behind the car that Farah was riding in. The online taxi driver apologized to Farah, then turned around to find an alternative way.

“The tree may be old and fragile, but there is no wind. Sorry we turned the other alternative road yes,” said the taxi driver.

Farah nodded. His heart is not calm.

“Sorry Ma'am, I want to inform you, maybe in a few hours there will be a storm that hits this city, please Mbaknya must be on guard,” said the driver.

Farah nodded, she had also heard the weather forecast if Numa City was going to have a storm from Akmal. But Farah still desperate to find her husband who has been a few days no news.

An alternative road through Farah is being closed due to repairs to the water pipeline. The online taxi driver gave a slightly irritated snort.

“Is the distance to the cafe still far?” ask Farah who wants to see Ilham immediately.

“Around 500 meters again Ma'am,” replied the online taxi driver.

“I will walk from here,” Farah rounded her resolve.

“But Mbak ..”

“I will pay according to the nominal stated in the application.” Farah took the money out of her bag and gave it to the taxi driver.

“Thank you Maak ..” said the driver after receiving money from Farah.

Faarah.

“Wait for Mbak, I hope Mbak immediately seek shelter, I do not know when the storm will come,”, said the driver shortly before Farah out of his car.

Farah smiled, nodding. He thought that he already had a purpose to take refuge, a new branch of the shop owned by Ilham.

Farah walked down that road.

“Sorry, who do you want to meet?” ask one of the new employees.

The building of this shop has become just untouched by amazing art to take selfies.

“I want to find the selector of this cafe, mas Ilham,” replied Farah.

“Sorry, has there been an appointment in advance?”

“I do not need to make an appointment first, I am the wife of the owner of this cafe.” Farah's voice is firm. He did not want to hide his identity as before, who had just brought lunch for Ilham.

“Well, I briefly connected the phone to the manager of this cafe,” replied the employee was polite.

It didn't take long for a young man who might be almost as sloppy as Ilham to come out from upstairs to the stairs.

“I'm a manager at this cafe, there's something I can help you with,” asked the man.

“I want to meet Ilham mas, my wife. Is Ilham here?” ask the impatient Farah.

“Sorry, Mr. Ilham has been a few days not seen in this cafe, maybe busy with the other cafe in the city of Milepolis.

Like being struck by lightning hearing the manager's answer. Farah did not find her husband. The manager thought that Ilham was in his town. But he was wrong. Farah had been caught in agitation and crying in the city of Milepolis for four days after Ilham's departure.

Where is Ilham? If Milepolis did not exist and Numa did not exist, then where is Ilham now?

Farah cried earlier than her eyes. He still holds back his tears. Farah doesn't want to cry here.

Without a word Farah finally walked out of this tavern. He already felt empty. There was a gap between his heart. That part's gone.

“Wait Miss,” said the cafe manager.

Farah's steps stopped. He turned to the one who called him.

“I hope Miss stays here, soon there will be a storm,” said the manager.

Farah shook her head. He wanted to go home and cry in his room. His heart had already been crushed to hear that Inspiration was not here. Even after four days without any news. Farah certainly understood what a storm was, but Farah forgot that a storm could destroy anything.

Farah walked out of the shop. He felt a chill pierce the pores of his skin. The blue sky was already filled with dense ash-colored clouds. Farah shouldn't have made this trip if she knew the answer would be like this. The hopeful heart was already too hoarse, dissolved in disappointment. Lara enveloped her heart, mind and body.

Farah kept walking despite the rain. He doesn't care. His body had forgotten to feel tired because it was used to being tired. His heart had also forgotten the pain of getting used to the pain. Just then Farah cried. Many people who run around avoid the rain looking for shelter. But not with Farah, he chose to cry in the rain. Until he realized something.

Farah felt strange about this rain. He felt not only water falling on the cheeks mixed with tears. Not just water, there are other things that fall. Farah held down the rain that fell on her hands. Sure enough, not only the water that fell but the ice grains that fell from the deep gray sky. The longer the ice grains fall, the larger the particle size. The storm came faster than expected.
