My Choice of Woman

My Choice of Woman
Episode 43

Farah gets to the bus stop, she sees Ray in his peacock style. Today Farah is not excited to run away from Ray, he let Ray greet him.

Why does Farah look so sad today?

Ray sees Farah who is very messed up despite her neat appearance. He saw Farah's eyes.

Looks like she's been crying all night.

Farah sat at the end of the stop trying to cover her face with her head down trying not to touch Ray who was beside her.

Ray opened the supply box he was carrying, thrusting the chocolate sandwich to Farah.

“This, I know you're sad. Here eat,” said Ray while offering a piece of chocolate sandwich to Farah.

Farah looked only at the man who was offering her chocolate sandwich.

Why is he always good, but I always ignore him.

“You don't want to? Relax, there is no poison. I made it myself! If you don't believe this I prove.” Ray bit the tip of the triangular bread and chewed it.

“Justify this there is no poison. I know you haven't had breakfast yet and this I made specially for you.” Ray thrust his food box at Farah.

Farah did not eat breakfast, she had no appetite since last night. Farah felt Ray was good not forcing as he used to be.

He made this bread for me?

Farah saw three plaster sticks in Ray's hand. Farah was sure Ray was indeed trying to make this bread with great difficulty. He appreciates Ray's efforts, and takes a loaf of bread in the lunchbox that Ray offers for him.

Ray saw Farah take the piece of bread he had made and eat it. Suddenly the 2A corridor bus stopped at the stop. Farah did not rush to board, she was still in place.

“You didn't get on the bus?” ray asked who saw the 2A corridor bus that had left the stop.

“I want to spend this chocolate sandwich,” replied Farah who was still busy biting the bread.

Ray doesn't believe Farah's answer. He was stunned to see Farah still eating the chocolate sandwich he made. Ray also offered a cup of fresh milk.

Farah and Ray enjoy their breakfast at the stop. Ray would occasionally steal a glance, seeing Farah enjoying the bread. Farah had finished two pieces of chocolate and cheese bread. He had also finished off one cup of fresh milk that Ray had brought.

“Thank you Sir Ray for breakfast,” said Farah politely.

“It's too formal, just call me Ray.”

“Thank you Ray, your chocolate sandwich is delicious.” Farah smiled.

For the first time Ray sees Farah smiling sincerely just for himself. He feels very happy.

“I'm sorry for our first introduction, and I'm often rude to you,” Ray said.

Farah just nodded slowly.

“I hope we can be friends.” Ray smiled broadly.

Farah did not answer. The 2A corridor bus stops at a stop near the residential archway. Farah got on the bus and sat by the door. That's his favorite seat.

Ray catches up with Farah and sits opposite Farah. He looked at Farah, but the one he looked at turned his face to look at the window.

Farah came back grim. He remembered how the Inspiration had been. Farah wished for Ilham to come home today. He tried to contact Ilham. Still no answer.

How quickly his smile faded, did he have any problems? Or maybe he has debt?

Ray tried to guess in his mind.

The stop near the college was deserted leaving Farah and Ray. Farah looked up at the sky, the warm sun did not touch this city. The cloud was like Farah's gloom.

Ray was still speechless feeling like he wanted to talk more with Farah. He saw the smile of the woman. He hoped that the woman was okay.

“Why is it still here? Isn't there a company you should lead?” said Farah saw Ray who was still at the stop.

“Indeed, but I have a new job that is to deliver my friend to be safe until the destination,” replied Ray

“Are you going to do this every day? You have a lot of time and money for what do you bother driving me?”

“Because I love this job.”

Farah did not continue this conversation, she stepped away from the stop. To get to the store he had to cross the highway. Farah walked with foresight but her mind was not there.

Farah did not realize there was a car traveling at high speed, the car had already pressed the horn aloud. Farah did not hear him, her ears were already claustrophobic with sounds emerging from her mind that floated out of nowhere.

Ray saw that. It screams, “FARAAHH ..!”

Ray swiftly pulled Farah's bag so that Farah's body was interested. Ray tries to keep Farah's body off that highway. For a second, Ray saves Farah. They fell by the side of the road. Ray's back hit the sidewalk. Farah was dragged but unharmed her condition was still shocked. Ray did that heroic act.

Farah wakes up and sees Ray grimacing in pain as Ray's back hits the sidewalk to save Farah.

“Ray! Ray, are you okay?” ask Farah in panic. “Ray ..!”

Farah cried to see Ray who was still lying near the sidewalk.

Farah curses her careless self not seeing a speeding car even as she daydreams while crossing the road. Farah crying.

Ray laughed even though he felt pain. Farah stopped her crying when she saw Ray who could still laugh.

“You're okay, aren't you Ray? Or do we have to go to the hospital?” ask Farah in panic.

“You're worried about me huh?” Ray laughed but also felt sick.

Ray stood up to show that he was okay. “I'm fine, nothing to worry about.”

Farah looked down, she felt guilty towards Ray. Maybe if Ray hadn't followed him today, Farah would have been in an accident.

“Thank you for saving me,” said Farah.

Ray smiled. “I'll take you to cafe.”

Farah did not refuse. Ray crosses Farah and delivers her to the cafe. Luckily the cafe is still in a quiet state not many people know if Farah was escorted by a famous construction company owner.

“Thank you Ray, and I'm sorry for ignoring you so much,” said Farah.

Ray smiled. “ Yes, happy working. Don't forget to smile, Miss. I'll be back later.”

Farah smiled looking at Ray's face.

Actually this man has a lot of love, but he loves the wrong woman.

After saying that, Ray ran out of the cafe courtyard.

Farah looked at the figure of the man who had saved her away, and headed for the stop near the tavern. He felt guilty for ignoring Ray these few days.

“Hopefully Ray knew immediately, that the woman he was following was married,” Farah mutter.
