My Choice of Woman

Episode 39's

Ray still remembers Anneline all along. A few days ago he met this woman at the Mall of Zen City.

But Ray has no intention of pursuing him, he just wants to get away from the wound that was scratched by the tenderness of a woman named Anneline.

It's still clear how Anneline likes to tell stories about what she calls cool ice guys.

Anneline got to know the ice man as he sat on his new High School bench.

“Hay Ray, I brought cookies made by my mother,” Anneline said as she entered Ray's room.

Ray is used to the behavior of Anneline who always goes into his room without saying excuse me. Anneline was already sitting in Ray's bedroom window. And that's Ray's favorite place to observe Anneline's activities while in the pool.

“Thank you Anne,” replied Ray who was still busy working on the task at his study desk.

“Ray, I want to tell you my secret. But you have to promise not to spread this secret to anyone including bang Theo,” pinta Anneline.

Ray finished his activities, he now turned his body to face Anneline.

“I like someone Ray,” Anneline start telling stories.

Ray was nervous to hear that statement.

Who does Anne mean?

“Who?” ask Ray.

“What is the name of the man?” Ray asked back. But Anneline was unmoved, her face flushed red.

Actually Ray put his heart on Anneline, since Theo invited Ray to come to his house. They're neighbors.

Ray likes to see Anneline in her gray white shirt waiting for public transport. It looks so sweet. Ray was always watching Anneline as she read a book near her swimming pool.

Ray always made sure this bus stop was passing. But he did not find what he was looking for. Soon he got off at a stop near the college opposite to Ilham's cafe.

It's true he didn't find Farah. He drowned at a stop near college. Ray looked at the watch that was coiled around his wrist. At 05.30 this early he had traveled from the terminal to arrive at this stop.

As per his heart's decision, Ray will wait for some buses that will pass this stop. Many do not think that someone who sits alone at a stop near the college is Ray a wealthy construction company voters.

He is still waiting for the next bus.

Farah went to the store. He was almost to the bus stop near the gate of the house. Suddenly Farah stumbled almost because of the left shoelace that was not knotted and stepped on by the right foot.

Farah fixed his shoelaces, tying them tightly so that the knots of the rope did not break easily. When she finished, Farah realized she had missed her bus. He was waiting for the next bus.

15 Minutes wait, the bus finally arrived. Farah got on the bus to Ilham's tavern. Farah hoped that this morning it would not be too late. He had sent a short message to Ilham to ask permission to work in the store. But Ilham has not replied to him until now. Farah was a little agitated.

It didn't feel like Farah had arrived at the bus stop near college. He got off the bus corridor 2A. Farah was a little surprised that someone was sitting at the stop. Farah felt familiar with the figure of the sitting man.

Ray knew the woman who had just gotten off the bus. He smiles.

It was not in vain that I waited.

In a small heart, Ray cheered happily as his wait did not disappoint.

“Good morning.” Ray smilingly greeted Farah who had just gotten off the bus.

Farah did not answer Ray's greeting. He just acted like he didn't know Ray. Farah sets foot across the highway to avoid Ray. He just wanted to get into the store.

Ray felt neglected. Ray followed Farah.

But Farah still did not. Finally Ray was determined to block Farah. It moved faster until Farah stopped her from entering the storefront.

Farah's been carrying a spray of chili. If Ray dares to mess around, Farah just squirts this chili water on Ray's face.

“Okay, I'll go. But remember this. If you are willing to be my lover, I will guarantee all your needs no matter what. Good morning and I'll be back later, ” said Ray.

After Ray spoke, he went to a stop near Ilham's tavern.

Farah was still glued to the spot. He looked around him hoping that no one would see this. Luckily it was still early in the morning, not many people had come to the store. Then Farah immediately rushed into the tavern to carry out her duties.

Farah and Ray's encounter is known by Akmal. Actually Akmal just wants to clean the yard shop. When he finds out that Ray and Farah are walking towards the store, Akmal hides behind a bush near the store's security post.

Akmal all heard the conversation between Farah and Ray. Akmal was even surprised by Ray's statement.

Does Mr Ilham know about this? Is Farah going to lie again about this?

Farah worked as usual. The women who had previously abused Farah had been forcibly expelled by Akmal, and had been replaced by a younger and well-behaved workforce. Farah started working from seven in the morning to nine in the evening.

At 21.00. Farah's work hours are over. He should be home soon. Mrs Tin's on leave for the next few weeks. Ilham was still busy with his new shop, so only Farah was at home.

Farah walked towards the bus stop near the tavern. He watches around, he is very afraid that Ray will suddenly appear. Farah sat at the stop alone. He remains vigilant about the situation around.

Sure enough Ray appeared out of nowhere and now sits at that stop. Farah was on standby with her chili water spray.

“Goodnight. See the moon is as beautiful as the woman beside me.” Ray's finger pointed at the thick moon and pointed again at Farah.

All women if treated like this would be absolutely flattered. It is different with Farah. He is even more disturbed by Ray's presence.

Farah then focused on her phone. He tried to ignore Ray who was talking. Farah opens an app on her phone, she orders a taxi online without Ray's knowledge.

“What do you want now, money? The gold? A car? A home? Or what? say, I will obey all your requests, even if you ask anything and now I will do,” said Ray.

Farah looked at Ray. “I want you to go from this place,”

“For this request, I can't do it. I'll stay here to make sure you get home safely. And I'll take the bus with you,” Ray said.

Shortly after, Farah's online taxi order arrived. Ray approached the car.

“Bapak is picking up an address huh?” ask Ray to the driver.

“Sorry this order on behalf of mbak Farah?” The driver confirmed the order in his app.

“Iya Sir is right, I am Farah who ordered a taxi online father,” replied Farah who directly entered the car.

“What?! you ordered this taxi! Openup! Open door!” Ray tapped on the car window.

“Sorry Ma'am, his friend didn't come in?” The taxi driver asked in polite language.

“Jalan only Sir! He is not my friend,” replied Farah.

The taxi drove off from Ray.

Ray still can't believe what Farah's doing, he runs after the cab as he can.

Farah found out that Ray was following this cab. “Pak driver, please somewhat faster and pass that road yes. Later I add the tip doubled,” said Farah.

As per the passenger demand, the taxi increased the speed. Ray wasn't strong enough to follow that cab. He was so tired that his breath was desperately chasing the taxi.

“I'm out of luck tonight,” guman Ray.
