My Choice of Woman

My Choice of Woman
Episode 54

The storm has passed, the day has gone towards the dim twilight. Farah and Ray still survive in the bookstore. Farah has realized the storm is already ‘completed’. He had to go home soon, he was afraid that Ilham would be home and waiting for him.

“Thank you for your time Ray, I'm glad to have a conversation with you Ray. But sorry, I have to go home to Milepolis,” Farah said.

“Will I take you home,” take Ray.

Farah smiled. “I'm home by train only.”

“I'll take you to station.”

Farah nodded her head in the sign she received a ride from Ray.

Ray says goodbye to Ramdan. He will take Farah to Numa City Station. Ray was very hopeful that Farah would accept his invitation. But unfortunately he can only deliver Farah only to the station.

Ray and Farah arrive at the station. Farah went straight to the ticket officer, put up her e-ticket card.

“Sorry Brother, the train to the city of Milepolis has departed 10 minutes ago,” said the counter officer.

“Yah ..” Farah was disappointed, she missed the train to Milepolis City. “Is there no next departure?” asked Farah expectantly.

The counter attendant checked the train's departure schedule. “Maybe tomorrow morning,” replied the counter attendant.

Hearing the reply from the counter attendant, Farah's face was not as bright as some time ago. He missed the train and had to wait for the morning.

Ray saw the disappointment clearly on Farah's face. Suddenly he thought of something. Ray smiled, he could take this chance.

“I'll take you home to your house,” take Ray.

Farah shook her head, she was afraid that Ray could do anything. Moreover, the distance between Numa City and Milepolis City was three hours drive.

Ray knows that Farah would rather wait until tomorrow than accept his offer. He then took something that was in the car, there was a baseball bat. He took the stick and gave it to Farah.

“Take this, if I mess around and do terrible things hit my head with this stick,”.

Farah hesitates to receive a wand from Ray.

“You want to go back tonight? I will also return to Milepolis.”

Farah took a call from Ray. He really wants to go home tonight. Farah also carries a spray of chili pepper and a baseball bat from Ray.

Seeing the look on Farah's face that was still hesitating. Ray racked his brain to think that the woman in front of him would take a ride from him.

“Well, you can sit in the back, as you want,”, Ray said.

Farah agreed. He can be on his guard.

Ray finally persuades Farah to follow him. They boarded the car and will travel three hours.

Tonight the yearning reaches its peak. The longing evaporated, flying in a room that contained only one person. Missing is like the air that every strand raises the sense of wanting to be inhaled again and again.

The miss made the owner cramped. The longing spread carried the blood flow from the man. Every inch of this man's body is now calling for longing for the sweet brown-eyed girl. As Inspiration stood by the window, he looked at the sky decorated with a chubby moon and stars.

“How are you doing?” ilham guman.

Today he was very tired, tonight he decided to go to bed faster. He just wanted to get rid of the longing that was hugging him tightly.

The liver! Do you know that? Now that I'm partying celebrating this miss, come with me!

Who does our Logic owner miss?

That girl, Heart! A charming brown-eyed girl named Farah.

No Logic! It's not the girl our owner wants, it's Anneline. The girl who disappeared six years ago.

Why seek uncertainty, if we have absolute certainty, Heart!

Me and my owner are gonna find Anneline!

You're too selfish to forget the reality we've been through, Heart!

There's still time to find Anneline, I'm sure my owner will find her Logic!

Whatever! You did a futile thing Heart.

Nothing is in vain in this world of logic!

I don't care about the Heart! What is clear now is that I am enjoying the longing in the mind of our owner.

On the way home to the city of Milepolis, Farah and Ray more often create silence. All that was heard was the roar of a working car engine, the sighs and heartbeats that might echo with an invisible voice.

Ray sees Farah from a small glass attached to the car. He saw Farah who was agitated while hugging a baseball bat. Farah's view is fixed on a window that displays a view of the houses illuminated by lights on the terrace.

Farah daydreamed, thinking about where Ilham was. Or maybe Inspiration has gone home and is now waiting for him. Farah hurriedly searched for the phone that was in her bag. He tapped on the phone screen. The phone screen did not display a reply to a message from Ilham. Farah sighed and put her phone back into the bag.

Farah looked back at the view from Ray's car window. For the umpteenth time he breathed. Not feeling his tears dripping, flowing from the spoon of the eye to the chin. He wiped the trail with his hand.

Ray saw clearly from the small glass in his car. He sees Farah opening her phone but Farah's face shows disappointment again. Ray also knew that Farah removed the crystal grains.

Why do you cry more often? What makes you so easy to shed those tears? What other disappointments make your mind restless? Tell me, tell me! I hope you're negligent in hurting yourself. And I also hope to be kept away from meaningless crying.

Ray begged the Lord not to see the tears that had fallen from the girl he loved.
