Naresh chose to drive his own car to the city of Milepolis. He only brought two passengers, namely his sister-in-law—Anneline and the woman he loved so much—Kinanti. The reason he does not use the services of a driver is because Jun still has not found Sirena's whereabouts. For corporate affairs, he gave his job to the Chief Executive Officer he appointed a week ago. He only asked for at least five to seven days to enjoy a vacation in the hometown of Kinanti while proposing to her.

In the car was a look of happy faces, not least Anneline. He is very much waiting for these moments. For six years, he never came out of Zen City, during which he hid all the sweet memories he had before becoming the figure he is today.

The car stops at a crossroads of traffic lights that light up red sign to stop. That afternoon, Anneline stared at a scene she had not felt for a long time. A couple of kids in high school uniforms stopped next to this car. They use a motorbike and piggyback, behind which looks a woman with a hijab typical of school children. Whether they were lovers or sisters, there was clearly a beam hitting his chest.

Anneline felt something warm wet her cheeks. He was crying, but he had forgotten how to cry. Too long confined in a chamber of grief, making him forget that tears can be produced when old memories spin back. Anneline recalled how Ilham often waited for her in the school parking lot while she was still involved in extracurricular activities of badminton.

Every morning, Ilham always pick him up on a paddle bike because the distance from school is not too close. If his bike is in trouble, surely he and Ilham will ride in angkot. Anneline smiled to herself remembering that piece of the past.

He was stricken with longing on the figure of the former Anneline. Anneline who is always excited about life, Anneline who is always fierce to her male friends does not want to clean the class at the picket, and Anneline who is always with Insham. Even the whole school knows, where there is Inspiration must be nearby there is Anneline, and vice versa.

I miss the old me.

Anneline let out a long sigh, after the memories with Inspiration revolved, the turn of bad memories that always imprint in reminiscent of the wounds that always hurt her heart. The father who sold it, the mother who couldn't do much when her daughter was sold, and her older brother—Theo couldn't protect her younger brother. They do not deserve to be called family. Anneline assures me that no blood family deserves to do that, maybe he's just a pick-up boy so Dad can do this. The reward they get is death. At least, that was what Anneline had in mind.

The car ran down the hot road until a mirage was seen at some point. This journey has only been reached in half, maybe in two hours they will arrive in the city of Milepolis. Naresh decided to stop at the rest area for rest and lunch. Honestly, he felt a bit sore doing a long walk like this, the last time he went to the City of Milepolis when he picked up Kinanti a few months ago.

Anneline tends to choose silence compared to two lovebirds who are kasmaran and want to tie the sacred promise of marriage. Naresh did not even hesitate to feed Kinanti which made the girl feel bad.

“It looks like I became a bothersome fly here.” Anneline leaned her back against the chair and exhaled a long breath.

Kinanti only blushed, not daring to answer. Soon she will officially bear the title of Lady Yori. Living with a thirty-year-old man is spoiled and sometimes annoying. At least that's what Kinanti felt, full of love to pour out.

“O yes, I had time to contact my sister, she said today she will undergo surgery. Yeah sort of put a device on her leg to work again. May she get what she wants.” Naresh smiled.

Anneline forced her smile. What if he could walk? Wh-wh-what for? He never made me happy. I also don't want to be with him even if he can stand up straight.

“Wah! I can't wait to see Mr Fernando,” said Kinanti.

“You will soon call him with sister-in-law,” Naresh said.

The return journey continued, it meant another two hours to get to the City of Milepolis. As usual, Naresh would make jokes that only made Kinanti laugh, but not for Anneline. He did not laugh, looking at the window. His mind turned to something he did not specify. Sometimes in his head strange questions arise, and there is always a reply won by the owner.

What if Ilham doesn't remember me? He's married, and maybe

He had been looking for me in Zen City for five days and left his wife, wasn't that a sign you were still in his heart.

But what if I don't want to live with me and choose my wife?

Easy, just kill him. I'm used to this. The wife of Inspiration will be with my family, surely she will meet them in the afterlife there.

Two hours of travel paid off. Already from afar, Naresh had booked the inn he had rented for seven days. The place is a little far from the center of Milepolis City, but it is perfect to rest from the hustle and bustle of the urban area.

Honestly, Kinanti was a little surprised to see such a significant change in the city. He remembers last seeing the state of his hometown when it was picked up by Naresh. That's all, the rest he doesn't remember details about his town.

For the sake of seeing the long sofa, Naresh immediately threw himself down. He wants to enjoy the feeling of lying down that his back feels sore when driving. This inn house, arguably very cool, seen from the floor to the interior. Not only that, there is a swimming pool in the back. Then if you want to walk again, there is an artificial titan that is still in one area. The wooden floor gives a very comfortable impression, not only that this inn has two floors and two bedrooms whose rooms are no less good for photo pots.

Suddenly Naresh's phone rang, making the owner have to wake up with a hint of laziness. He cursed who called in such a terrible situation. The phone vibrates and displays a screen that says Jun is calling. For the sake of seeing Jun's name, Naresh jumped to his feet. He went to one of the rooms on the second floor. After entering the room and closing the door, he received the call.

“Halo ... has Sirena met?” Naresh asked. After hearing Jun's explanation for a few minutes, Naresh's face turned deathly pale.

“What!”
