Episode 187: A Friend
“Today goes according to will,” Frans said while handing over one cup of coffee to Ilham.
Inspiration received the coffee and sipped it slowly. His tongue reacts and sends signals to the brain if the taste of this black liquid is very delicious. “Thank you, Frans.”
Frans waved his hand. He walked to his coffee stand. Inspiration could only smile while shaking his head. He deserves to appreciate a curly-haired man full of surprises and a little crazy.
Ilham's phone rang, a sign of a short message coming in. Inspiration reached into his pants pocket to pick up the box object. His fingers tapped on his phone screen.
“It turns out my wife has missed, but just left for a while.” Inspiration walked over while replying to the message. He should see his wife immediately.
“Ilham!”
Inspiration stopped, his ears did not hear wrong. His name was called by someone. “This voice, a voice that has been inaudible for a long time.”
Suddenly his chest fluttered. He still did not dare to turn his body. His feet felt weak. The sound was so loud that his head felt heavy.
Suddenly someone hugged him from behind until the coffee cup he was carrying fell onto the dry grassy ground.
“I miss! I miss you Ilham.”
I'm sure it's the scent of Farah's perfume. This voice does not belong to my wife. Instantly Inspiration let go of the embrace and slightly pushed the person who was hugging her from behind.
“True, you're Inspiration! Inspiration-ku.” The woman wearing a soft blue dress was staring at Ilham with teary eyes. There was a mouthful of tears ready to slide down, flowing down his cheeks.
Ilham. It took him a few seconds to remember the person who had just hugged him. “Ann ...” sound choked. He's having trouble breathing.
“Iya, I'm Ann! Anneline. You still remember me?” Anneline wiped her tears and immediately hugged Ilham for the second time.

“Ah!” Farah exclaims.
Kinanti panicked when she heard Farah's moans. He put down his spoon. “Why you?”
Farah felt a sharp pain in her left chest. His hand immediately held the painful part. “No, I'm nothing.”
“True nothing?” Kinanti.
Farah nodded. His right hand still holds his left chest. The pain felt at this time is like being electrocuted suddenly, and before long the feeling disappears and reappears many times. What was? Why am I feeling restless.
Farah checked her phone on the table. He checked the messages sent to Ilham. “Mas Ilham has read my message, why not reply?” Farah sighed softly.
“There's a problem?” Kinanti. He noticed Farah, who was agitated, checking her phone almost every time.
“I'm waiting for Mas Ilham. I have sent a message to Mas Ilham to join,” replied Farah.
“Maybe still busy.” Kinanti just chimed in with good possibilities.
Farah just nodded. He returned to his meal with a sense of no taste. His left chest is still painful occasionally. I hope everything's okay.
Suddenly a waiter spilled a tray of three iced tea glasses to Farah. He looked pale to the point of not concentrating on bringing this drink.
“Yes!” Kinanti. Even many visitors were silent when the incident happened.
Farah was surprised not to play. Some of the hoods and the robe are wet. He was bathing in ice-cold water. It also becomes the center of attention even if only for a moment.
“Sorry, sorry! I'm sorry for my mistake,” said the waiter. It seems that he feels guilty for not conspiring. To the extent that the owner of the food booth had to apologize for his servant's mistake and was willing to recoup his losses.
Farah just nodded. He did not hold a grudge against the servant because man could have done wrong. But the problem is, the clothes are worn wet. Farah had to go home to change her clothes.
Farah shook her head. “Not later Brother Anneline can be confused? I'll just call Mas Ilham, Kinan.” He took his phone and called Ilham.

Inspiration hurriedly let go of Anneline's embrace. He swallowed his saliva looking at Anneline who was much different than six years ago. Why is she dressed like this? What's been going on all this time?
Anneline knew that the man before her looked at her like a stranger. He knew that his old Anneline couldn't possibly dress so short. “Why Inspiration? I'm still the same Anneline.”
Inspiration tries to be as calm as possible. His six-year wait has disappointed him. The woman who was always neatly tucked away in the corner of her heart shelf turned out to have changed. Why were you only present when I had put my taste to Farah?
“Where have you been all this time? Why is your appearance different now?”
Anneline's eyes widened. He did not think that the first time that was spoken by Inspiration was a question that was quite difficult to answer. He wiped his still flowing tears and tried to smile.
“I'm in Zen City. Ray said you were looking for me in that town. And now that I've come to see you here, my Ice Prince!”
Turns out he's met Ray, the Inner Inspiration. He tried to hold back his longing. The hug nearly shattered his belief. He still remembers his wife. Inspiration doesn't want Farah to know about this meeting.
“Thank you for your great effort in coming here. I'm glad to see you're okay. May God protect you, Ann.” Only that sentence can be sent out.
“Ilham ..” Anneline grabbed both of Ilham's hands.
Inspiration hurriedly took a step back. Getting Anneline to cancel her wish. Inspiration does not want people he knows to see this action. He wanted to get out of this place immediately.
“Sorry, Ann. I'm already married. Please don't do this. I don't want to make my wife hurt. I know, we were in a relationship. But, please don't need to cultivate the story that was lost six years ago.” Inspiration tries to explain the situation as subtly as possible. He knew, Anneline might not be able to accept this. He also knew, Ann was a very firm person with her stance.
“What do you mean by this?” Anneline's face suddenly turned hostile. He looked hard at the man he loved so much.
“I hope you understand. I want us to be friends. You understand, right?” Inspiration smiles very sincerely.
For the first time Anneline did not like the smile of the man she loved. He did not want his efforts to wait for six know this only resulted in a relationship limited to friends. He doesn't want to! No matter what her opinion was, what was clear at this moment was that Anneline was angry and wanted to immediately take Ilham away to live together with her.
Ilham glanced at the timepiece that was coiled around his wrist. “Sorry Ann, I have to pick up my wife. Next time I'll introduce my wife to you. Oh yeah, thanks to your wish that you talked to me about in High School, now I've made it happen. I have a cafe located in front of the college. I hope you can stop by later I also invite my wife to get to know my best friend.”
Anneline was still staring at Ilham sharply. The look on his face was harboring a rage that at any moment could explode at any moment like a time bomb.
Inspiration felt that there was no longer anything to talk about with the woman who stood by clenching her hand. He wants to catch up with Farah. “Yes first, Ann. I have to go.”
Inspiration turned around with an unbecoming heart. Between guarding and longing, he had no idea how much disappointment was present when what he was waiting for was present before him. He could not return Anneline's embrace even though the other himself was eager to do so. Inside his head was only Farah who was waiting for his arrival anxiously. There was only Farah, the woman who had been loyal to him for a year.
I gotta get going.
Anneline looked at Ilham who had already moved a few steps away from her place. His wait and effort to get to this city was only met with meaningless void. “I don't want to be just friends! I met your wife, her name is Farah, right!”
Inspiration heard Anneline's scream. To hear his words he turned. How could she know my wife's name?
