Otis did not go straight into his room. The man immediately visited Tika's room to check the evidence in the room. Otis feels lucky because until this moment Tika's room has not been inhabited by anyone. There are no proper workers to replace Tika. Indeed, the woman when viewed from the results of her work is always satisfactory. It's only natural that he could become the trust of Mrs Yolanda.
Upon arrival in Tika's room, Otis is shocked. Not because I see a clean room. But Otis was convinced that there was no clue in the room. Otis steps towards the wardrobe hoping to find a clue there. But he also found nothing. All of Tika's stuff is gone. Because it was before the accident, at that time Tika's position left the house. Obviously all the personal belongings he had were in the taxi when the accident occurred.
"Service Tika. Who had secured Tika's luggage at the time of the accident? I'm sure I can find a clue inside the suitcase" Otis murmured inwardly. He took his cell phone and called someone's number.
"Have you managed to find the clue I asked for?" ask someone on the phone.
"I need the suitcase Tika was carrying when she left the house. The suitcase must have been in the trunk of the taxi that Tika was riding in at the time of the accident."
"alright. That suitcase will be my business. Now go to the room of the woman named Renata. The room is the largest of the workers' rooms. It's aloof. Not far from the back door" said the man on the phone.
"Alright," Otis replied before disconnecting the phone call. Once again the man checked Tika's room but still did not find any clues until finally Otis decided to immediately go to Renata's room.
Otis had a second guess where the room of Aunt Renata was. The man looked one by one at the door at the residence of the workers who worked in the house. But none of them are flashy. Otis continued to walk towards the back door. His steps came to a halt when he saw a slightly large white door and there was only one room in it. The location is covered in a luxurious urn that makes Otis difficult to find. Otis looked around before entering the room. His face had to be disappointed when he failed to open the door because it was locked.
"Now I have to find the keys to this room." Otis again had to turn his brain to open the room. He remembered someone who was in charge of storing all the keys in the house. Now what Otis thinks is the reason to be able to get Renata's room key without being suspected.
Otis looked at someone who happened to pass by there. That someone was the clerk who kept the keys to the entire house. Otis suddenly sat not far from the front door of the room and pensive. It attracted attention until the man who passed by had come to approach Otis.
"I'm sad" Otis replied uninspired. His acting is really convincing.
"What are you thinking. Tell me. We are not friends" said the man. He even sat on the floor. Next to Otis.
"I know that Aunt Renata and Tika are in a very close relationship. They are like mother and son. Now they both go. You must not have forgotten that I had a relationship with Tika. We were in need of each other even though it didn't look like we loved each other. I feel so lost to Tika. But I didn't find any clues in Tika's room." Otis was silent because of the shock. "I mean I want to visit Tika village to deliver this sad news to her family. But Tika's room was clean and there were no clues in there. I was hoping in Aunt Renata's room I found the clue. But baby the door is locked. I can't go in there to check."
"Otis, I'm sorry. It's not that I don't want to help you but I can't give you the keys to Aunt Renata's room without Mr. Abraham's permission. This is a very risky act. I don't want to sacrifice my job just to help you" the man said as he was. He knew how hard it was to find a job right now.
"Yes, of course. If I were in your position I would say the same. Who am I anyway. It's unbelievable at all." Otis had a sad face.
"Otis, that's not what I meant. But-"
"It's okay," cut Otis. He moved from his position and stood up. "If I had found a clue in this room, I would have calmed down. At least I can make Tika happy there."
Otis' words turned the man into a dilemma. He looked at Otis' face which looked very serious. "alright. I'll lend you the keys to this room. But as a friend, you'll protect me. I mean, if anything happens, I'll tell Mr. Abraham that you stole the keys to this room."
Otis smiled hearing that. "All right."
