In the morning, Otis woke up. Not because he wants to play sports. Except all night for he could not fall asleep. The shadows of the two men who had pulled him kept on flashed through his mind. He felt that those two people were the same as the two who had dragged him and left him in the abyss. In that instant Otis realized that the one who had made him enter the abyss was Mr. Abraham. All this time he was just guessing uncertainly without proof. But last night's events made it all clear.
Otis rubbed his face violently. His body was tired of lying down. The man sat on the edge of the bed. He did not expect that in the end he was at the point of fear like now. Otis looked at himself through the mirror before him.
For a moment he asked himself where my fault lay. No ordinary man like himself should love a noble woman. But his conscience says that this relationship is wrong. If he was in the position of Lord Abraham he would also be angry. Although it has ever hurt any man will not willing the woman he loves to love another man. Are men always selfish?
Otis would never torture himself again. He decided not to think about the threat Mr. Abraham would send. From this moment on he will refocus on Madame Yolanda. He will fight for the woman until they get married. The minor injuries he might receive would be nothing if he were to successfully marry Lady Yolanda.
"The soul mate has been determined since we were born. If indeed that woman is my soul mate, I will resign myself to accepting the obstacles that I will face," Otis murmured inwardly.
Otis decided to get out of his bedroom and go to the kitchen. Early in the morning like this, drinking coffee is the right choice. The man would stare at the sun that would soon surface.
Just closing the door Otis has met with Tika who is getting ready for work. Actually, come to think of it, Tika is a beautiful woman. But when compared to Mrs Yolanda, it is still more interesting Mrs Yolanda. The woman walked over to Otis with a sweet smile on her lips. Suddenly, his hand slid forward like he was asking for something.
"Where's money. Didn't I say I asked for money to buy clothes. When the payday will be paid," said Tika with a faint smile. Yes, indeed it fits perfectly with his character who is always cheerful. Usually a woman will be traumatized after experiencing a bad event like last night. But Tika is not. In an instant the woman could get back up and forget all the problems that had occurred.
Otis took the wallet out of his pocket and took out a few hundred thousand bills and gave them to Tika. The man looked at Tika's face again. "Take it don't need to be paid."
"Oh, can't! I don't like being indebted to others including a man. Money is a very sensitive issue. I don't want this money because our friendship could be ruined."
Otis laughs made by Tika. "If you want to pay it, pay 10 times" Otis said before stepping away. It was obvious that it made both of Tika's eyes perfectly round.
"It's only since when did you turn into a loan shark!" yelled Tika with her firmness.
"If you mind you don't have to pay" Otis said, waving his hand. The man disappeared behind the wall. While Tika just smiled, she blushed shyly looking at the money that was now in her grasp.
"Truly a nice guy. If he's this good I'm getting harder and harder to forget." The woman immediately put the money in her pocket and went back to work.
Otis managed to arrive in the kitchen and immediately boiled water to make coffee. It turns out he wasn't alone there. There are already several cooks ready to make breakfast.
"Otis, there's hot water. You don't have to bother boiling anymore" said one of the chefs in the kitchen.
Otis looked towards the designated teapot. The man smiled. "Thank you" he said before stepping into the teapot. Otis brews his coffee. Actually it's just a simple job. Everyone can do it. But for Otis it was different. Even if you only make coffee. He was already proud of himself. And of course the coffee is very good.
"There is a cake that you can eat for breakfast as a coffee friend" said the chef who offered hot water.
Otis looked in the direction that the chef pointed. It turns out that there are a lot of cakes that have been prepared for the food of the workers in this house. Otis took one slice of the cake and brought it forward with the finished coffee. The man plans to have coffee with the other drivers. However, Otis' status in the house is still as a driver.
Otis's steps slowed down when he was only a few feet away from the kitchen. The man blinked repeatedly. Dizziness. That's what I feel for now. Otis kept trying to open his eyes wide to refocus with the view in front. But his head felt heavy. His steps staggered to make the coffee in his grasp spill. The man cursed in the heart. He can't get sick. She must be strong for Madame Yolanda's sake.
STUNTMAN
The coffee did not work again he held until it finally fell to the floor and made a noise so noisy. The few workers who were there looked towards Otis with worried faces. Otis still had time to carve a smile hoping everyone who saw did not panic. He fell to the floor and was unconscious again. Even the small plate that became the place for the cake was also lying on the floor.
"MISS!" tika shouted with a panicked face. The woman ran over to Otis.
Unfortunately the woman did not manage to get close to Otis. The sound of Mrs Yolanda's cry overcame her footsteps. Before Tika arrived beside Otis body, Madam Yolanda was already kneeling there. Pat Otis' cheek with a worried face. It was even clear that there were tears on her cheeks. The woman seemed to not care if what she did was seen by all the workers in her home.
"Even Mrs Yolanda no longer cares about the social status she has. Does he really love Otis. Is it true that her love isn't just an escape?" tika muttered inwardly with her hands firmly clenched.
...***...
"Mrs Yolanda left for the police station. Mr. Abraham's cousin picked him up. They say that in prison someone tried to kill Mr. Abraham" Tika said. The woman always knew what Otis was thinking.
"How can anyone try to kill him. While he just intends to kill me," said Otis.
"Maybe he deliberately made such a drama so that Madame Yolanda would come to the prison" Tika replied. The woman got out of the chair she was sitting in.
"Where are you going?"
"work. Why?"
Otis. "Did I really faint?"
Tika moved her head up into a bent position. The woman looked at both of Otis' eyes deeply. It was obvious that it made Otis slightly rewind his body otherwise they could get to kissing.
"Yes, you fainted. And you're lucky you didn't faint on the street. I can't imagine how Mrs Yolanda would have been if you had passed out on the street in a car. That was so bad. And it might be sad news. I don't care about your status now being Madame Yolanda's dark lover. All I know is you're still Otis' driver. Take care of your. Don't let something like this happen again. You're a man. Must stay strong."
Actually Tika said it was not because she did not like to help Otis who was fainting. But he was sad if Otis fell unconscious. Tika does not want Otis to fall ill. He wanted the man to stay as strong as the first time they met.
"Thank you for warning me. I'll be more careful at work." Otis looked down and turned his eyes. Tika left immediately. The woman also did not know what to say anymore.
After Tika came out, Otis also got out of bed and searched for his phone. He wanted to contact Lady Yolanda and hear about the woman. Otis wanted to know exactly what Mrs Yolanda was doing there.
Otis found his phone in bed. Quickly he took his phone. Not yet pressing Ms. Yolanda's number the man had read the message sent by Mrs Yolanda into his phone.
"Otis, I'm not going home. Abraham's family knows our relationship. And now they forbid me to come back home and see you. I was forced to go home to my in-laws and be there until Abraham's trial arrived. I hope you're not thinking anything weird. All this for the good of our relationship. Lots of rest at home. I don't want anything like that to happen again."
Otis sighed harshly when he finished reading the message from Madam Yolanda. He's very disappointed. Otis was unwilling to part from Madame Yolanda in this manner. Again he blamed himself. Had he not fainted, he might have had the opportunity to poison Mrs Yolanda's mind to defy everyone's request. But it's all happened. Now Otis can't do anything anymore.
"Why does he always obey their requests?" Otis throws his phone back to bed without replying to a message from Mrs Yolanda. The man sat back on the bed. His head no longer felt dizzy. And again Otis was bored in his room. After putting the phone in his pocket Otis left the room. He would rather sit there looking at the fish in the pond than shut himself up in that narrow room.
Otis continued to walk down the hallway that would connect him to the fish pond that was in the side courtyard. The man held back his footsteps when he saw Tika was cleaning a medal cabinet not far from the fish pond. The woman used the stairs because the closet she cleaned was very high. Otis folded both his hands. He watched Tika from the tip of the foot to the tip of the head. The man smiled a little afterwards.
When he wanted to step away suddenly Otis scrunched his forehead to see the stairs Tika was riding moving. As fast as lightning Otis ran up to Tika to hold the woman so as not to fall. Tika screamed loudly in shock. One medal that had been held in his hand was released until it fell to the floor and broke. But the woman did not hit because Otis immediately caught her. Otis held onto Tika's waist tightly. Tika closed her eyes in fear. Their noses touch each other. Both of Tika's hands were on Otis's shoulders.
"Are you okay?" ask Otis.
Tika opened her eyes slowly. Not answering Otis' question, the woman was stunned to see Otis's good looks. The closer the man gets to perfection. Tika feels lucky even though only her nose is in contact with Otis' nose. With this kind of position he felt like he was being carried. There was a smile on Tika's lips. And that made Otis immediately release his embrace.
Tika who regained consciousness put on her jutek attitude. The woman kicked a ladder that almost made her fall. "Based on useless stairs. He almost made my face hurt. If I fall down, who will take responsibility?"
"Other times before work check first the tool you want to use so you don't get hurt. Do not turn on the device itself after the incident" Otis said.
Look at the medal on the floor. The woman was immediately frightened. "This medallion is why it broke." Although actually Tika does not know what medal is. But he knew that everything in the closet was Mr. Abraham's private collection. If the number is less than one can be a consequence.
"Just tell me what really happened to Madame Yolanda after she came home. Don't cry for a medal because he won't come back" Otis said before leaving. Tika looked at Otis back for a moment before looking at the medal again.
"My salary could have been cut for a year" he murmured inwardly.
