Mrs Yolanda's Driver

Mrs Yolanda's Driver
Jealous Tika

"No, Mistress. I can't accept your proposal."

Madam Yolanda looked at Otis with a face of disbelief. How could the man refuse. What is less than him? Everyone looked at her as the most beautiful and wealthy woman. Not a few people who praise him are kind and patient. As a woman, Lady Yolanda felt confident that she was nearing perfect predicate.

"What's your reason for rejecting me, Otis?" Lady Yolanda's face turned sad when she regained consciousness that she could never bear a child. "Is it because I can't give you offspring? I thought you had a different principle than Abraham."

"I do not want to marry a woman who is still the wife of another person. What do you mean, you want to have two husbands, ma'am?"

Madam Yolanda immediately smiled at Otis' reply. "That's not an excuse. Once Abraham is convicted of what he did then I will immediately force him to sign the divorce papers. After that we'll get married." Madam Yolanda tidied back to Otis' appearance which looked a little messy. "After that we will live in this house as a couple. We will live happily together. You are no longer seen as a driver. Everyone will call you Mr."

"Your speech is too high Madam, to the extent that I dare not imagine it. I don't think it might need to be asked again. I have loved you so much since I first met you. I am determined to protect you with the only life I have even though at that time my position was only as a driver. But what about you. When did you decide to be interested in me. How could a noblewoman fall for an ordinary man like me, Madam?"

"You should call me Yolanda from now on. I don't care if I'm older than you. Anyway, I still look much younger, don't I? Your question seems like I can't answer it. I don't know the exact time. All I remember is I started to miss you and worry about your safety. My love for Abraham has slowly faded since I knew he was cheating on me with another woman. To look at it I was disgusted since the woman of his affair was pregnant with their illegitimate relationship child. It's the right decision for me. Maybe everyone out there will think badly of me later. But I can use the scandalous video of Abraham and the woman in self-defense. Everything's gonna be fine. And you'll never get involved by anyone else in the trouble that's going on between me and Abraham."

This time Otis looks to be able to smile back sweet as usual. Suddenly the man opened both hands to make Madam Yolanda blush in shame. They look like teenagers who have just been dating. "Do you want to hug me Yolanda?"

Without answering Otis's question, Lady Yolanda immediately rushed into Otis' arms. The woman went inside her arch. Both of their eyes were closed to enjoy the arms now coiled together. Otis put his hand on Madam Yolanda's waist and vice versa. They miss each other.

"Thank you for marrying me. Thank you for accepting me for who I am" Mrs Yolanda said before embracing Otis even tighter.

...***...

Inside the five-meter room, Tika sat while hugging her own body. The shadows when Otis and Madame Yolanda hugged each other still lingered in her memory. The tears are still flowing so fast. She tried repeatedly not to cry anymore. But the result is nil. The woman is hurt. But he also can't force Otis to love him.

Plus all this time he's been keeping a lot of secrets from Otis. Seeing Otis stay alive alone had already made him much calmer. He himself also did not expect after Otis returned to the city, the man instead looked for him and met him. Requesting protection.

Otis was the man who shocked Tika back then. The man appeared with a face full of wounds. Tika takes him back home and treats all of Otis' wounds so patiently. Tika also prepared to eat and drink Otis. Until finally Otis flew and they got the news that Mrs Yolanda was in a state of shock due to the departure of Tesya.

Otis forced himself to meet Lady Yolanda and make sure that she was all right. What was in Tika's mind, maybe it was just a worry between the driver happened to his employer. It was unexpected that there was a special feeling in Otis' heart towards Madam Yolanda.

"Why did she meet me yesterday, if the woman she misses so much is Mrs Yolanda. I was really stupid to think that Otis had the same feelings as me. I'm too naive for something like that. Aunt Renata is no longer in this world. It seems like this is the end of everything. I myself also do not know exactly what the matter is between Aunt Renata and also Lady Yolanda. Until here I can breathe with relief because I know that the person who is after the life of Lady Yolanda is no longer in this world. I decided to leave this house. Why would I survive if in the end I would only see the man I love having fun with other women."

Tika got up from there and walked to her closet. The woman took the suitcase and filled her things in there. This time he began to look much stronger. No more tears shedding so hard. After making sure all her personal belongings went into the suitcase, the woman immediately changed her clothes in the bathroom. Tika also actually did not know where to go after this. Because Tika has no place to live other than in this house. All he has right now is money. Tika was sure she could buy a simple house away from Otis.

It didn't take long for Tika to get ready. The woman came out of her room dressed so well. He pulled his red suitcase towards the main house. Some of the servants who passed by Tika stopped and blocked the woman. They also love Tika very much and do not want Tika to leave the house.

"What are you thinking? Why are you carrying a suitcase like this Tika. We know that Aunt Renata no longer exists in this world. But you still have us. We will always love you and take care of you with all our heart" said one of the maidservants who was in front of Tika.

"This is not a matter of Aunt Renata. But because I feel it is no longer appropriate to live in this house. I'm tired of working. I want a break."

"Well, think about it again. If later you want to go back to work not necessarily Mrs Yolanda will accept you again. In this house is the most perfect place to work. Don't waste the opportunity you have."

"My decision is round. I'm gonna keep out of this house. Thank you for all of you being so attentive to me."

Hearing Tika's reply made the female servant unable to speak anymore. They hugged Tika alternately with tears in their eyes. "We will miss you and will always miss you. We've been working in this house for a long time and it's like family."

Tika just smiled when hugging her colleagues. The woman wiped her tears again. "I want to see Lady Yolanda and say goodbye. I went into this house well and had to leave in a good way as well."

"Yes, you can meet Madame Yolanda right now. I saw him walking towards the reading room with Otis. Looks like they want to talk about something important" said one of the waiters there.

"alright. I'll see them soon. Tika pulled her suitcase back to the reading room that was said by her colleague. The woman again had to wipe away the tears left on her cheeks. He did not want when he met Otis later still in a state of crying. The hallway leading to the reading room was indeed very quiet. There was only wind blowing from the window along the road. Tika's steps slowed down even more as she almost arrived at the reading room. The two women's eyes widened when she saw Otis and Madame Yolanda kissing so hot on the side of the wall near the bookshelf. They are both passionate and long for each other. Tika quickly turned her face away from them. The tears cannot be held back.

Otis and Lady Yolanda took off their plants. Otis was most panicked when he saw Tika at the end near the entrance. That guy was so embarrassed. He immediately tidied up his appearance and approached Tika. While Mrs Yolanda looks ordinary. The woman was sitting in a work chair that her husband used to sit in. He pulled the drawer and checked the important documents neatly stored inside.

"Well, what are you doing here?" Otis glanced at the suitcase lying on the floor. "Is this suitcase yours? Where are you taking this suitcase?"

"I want to meet with Mrs Yolanda" Tika said without answering Otis's question.

"alright. Please sign. I also have to leave because there's still some business I have to finish."

"Otis, wait a minute," stop Tika. The woman looked at Otis face for a moment before looking down again. "Thank you for ever wanting to be my friend. You're a very good friend. I will never forget your kindness. Forgive me for the mistakes I made."

"Why do you have to talk like that, Tika? Like you want to split up." Otis looked back at the suitcase lying on the floor. The man lifted his suitcase and widened his eyes when he found out that the suitcase had contents. "What's in here?"

"My clothes and all my personal belongings," Tika replied casually.

Otis shook his head in disbelief. "What do you mean, Tika?"

"What's this?" ask Mrs Yolanda. It turned out that the woman could not sit quietly when she saw Tika and Otis were chatting.

"Miss, I wanted to apologize earlier." Tika lowered her head and stood in front of Madam Yolanda. "I've decided to resign from my job."

"What?" chirps Otis shocked. "You want to get out of this house? But why?"

Madam Yolanda glanced at Otis for a moment. There was jealousy when he saw Otis expression that seemed unwilling if Tika resigned from her job. "What's your reason for leaving this house?"

"You're too good for me, ma'am. I can't say why I left this house because there was no reason. My savings are enough to buy a simple house. Maybe I will open a business in that house later. The location itself I do not know where. I'm tired of working, ma'am. I want to enjoy my work all this time."

"alright. I will not forbid you to leave. But one thing you must remember. If you need help and you want to come back just come see me. The door of this house will always be wide open for you, Tika."

Tika smiled hearing that. "Thank you Madam. You are a very nice woman."

"Wait a minute here." Madam Yolanda turned her body and walked towards the work desk. The woman took some money in the safe and put it in a brown envelope. He was carrying the brown envelope as it approached.

"It's a little present for you because you've been working diligently all along. Think of this as my thanks to you."

Tika received the brown envelope with smiling lips. "Thank you, Madam."

"Otis will take you."

"No Madam. No need," Tika refused. Otis scrunched his forehead hearing Tika's refusal. The attitude of the woman was indeed very different from before. Otis felt like Tika was hiding something from him.

"Why if I give it back?"

"Now Lady Yolanda is in danger. I don't want you to leave him alone. Please take good care of Madame Yolanda." Tika can always find a reason to avoid problems.

"Alright, then I will order a taxi," said Mrs Yolanda gave a solution.

"Thank you Madam. Then I go to the front of the house first." Tika takes her suitcase and drags her away leaving Otis and Madame Yolanda. While walking the woman closed her eyes to suppress the pain that was now suffocating her chest.

"I must be strong. I must be strong," Tika muttered inwardly before stepping even faster.
