MOON IN PESANTREN

MOON IN PESANTREN
Salat Worship

I learned a little from the story of Adam. The day I was taken to a dark and creepy room 3 years ago. My family was looking everywhere for me, they thought I was drowning on the beach. Umi was so worried.

I found my family in a state of eyes that were still covered in crying marks and shabby clothes. They immediately charged at me with various questions after I sat down and drank to calm down. After that, I immediately told him everything and Mas Adam clearly told me that he really did not know that the brother of the evil man named Nira, loved Mas Adam.

The woman named Nira was really good at covering up feelings. His whole behavior doesn't show that he likes my brother at all. In fact, Mas Adam said that a close friend of Nira also thought Nira hated Mas Adam because it was always indifferent and never friendly at all. There came a day where Mas Adam was close to Nira for getting the same share at work. Nira's attitude did not change, he never responded to Mas Adam's chatter.

One month later Mas Adam met Kak Intan, felt fit and intended to propose to him. After Mas Adam married Kak Intan, Nira reportedly stopped working because she could not see Mas Adam with Kak Intan. Adam only found out that someone who even seemed to hate him was harboring such great feelings.

"Seli, can you please make an announcement so that the children will come to the restaurant?"

I nodded and turned on the microphone. "Bismilbornrahmanirrahim. It is told to all ibtidaiyah madrassa santri to immediately carry out lunch at the restaurant. So Walhamdulilbornabbil Alamin."

"So think about what, Cell? The paper sample is full of scribbles of that pen?"

I floundered, caught daydreaming. "Thinking past events, Sa."

"Past time don't think. Just take the wisdom and forget it. Don't allow yourself to spend time remembering or thinking about things that have happened."

Harsa picked up the paper I had been scribbling since. "The past will always be a part of us. It can never be lost. Remember it may be, but do not make us ignore let alone think excessively. In my opinion, the most important thing about thinking about the past is to take wisdom from every past."

"Yes, Sa. Alhamdulillah has earned his wisdom."

In my opinion, Kak Nira should not have neglected her life just because of her great love for Mas Adam. Although the reality of our lives does not match what we expect, not regretted, not regretted. But, we are clear, Allah is All-Knowing of what is best for us.

On vacation yesterday, I heard from Mas Adam that Kak Nira had started working and was even married by her coworkers. May he be happy with God's choice.

Harsa fell asleep in her chair. Office picket hours are over, it's time we went back to the bathroom and escorted the kids upstairs. Towards a magrib like this was not good sleep, but seeing Harsa who had just fallen asleep and seemed to have been very sleepy since noon, I could not bear to wake her up.

"Sister, can you please take care of the office until Isya? Because the teachers want to hold a meeting tonight." Ustadz Rizal met me as I was about to get out of the chair.

"Good, Ustadz. Can."

"OKAY. Thanks, Sis. Salat brother in the office, yes. Mukena's on the shelf."

"Well, Ustadz."

"Assynualallaikum." Ustadz Rizal left the office.

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

I went to the toilet to get some water. Hoping that after I finished wudu, Harsa had already woken up. Men and women who are not mahrams are prohibited from praying if only alone, then I intend to pray alone.

Finished wudu and wear mukena, it turns out that Harsa has not yet woke up. It was not good to sleep in Maghrib, so I tried to wake him up.

He did not move, so I took the pen and touched his hand with the pen. "Harsa, it's magrib from earlier."

Harsa woke up, looking around with her waking face. "Astagfirullah, I fell asleep, yes."

I'm nodding. "We were told to guard the office until I was because the teachers wanted a meeting."

"That means we pray here, huh? If that's what I wudu first, we pray congregation." Harsa walked to the toilet.

"Eh, we're just the two of us. Cannot congregate. Not mahram."

"Oh, yes. You haven't married me yet, yes," cried Harsa from the toilet.

"Astagfirullah. Harsa is very sweet. If anyone tries to."

Geck! Geck!

"Assynualallaikum." Yusuf, the head of the housekeeper entered by holding two santri nisa who seemed to be 2nd class in his right and left hands.

"Wa'alaikumsalam's chat. What's the matter, Yusuf?"

"Ente's alone here?" he said while looking around.

"Two" Harsa replied as she walked over to us.

"May you take care of them, right? They fight constantly at the prayer shaf. Please give them punishment too let them apologize and not fight anymore."

"OK-okay." I took the hands of these two children to invite him to prayer. "Blesson, can you please call who? You see I both doang Harsa here."

"Oh, I can't, Cell. On top of the lack of managers, because there are many more rote schedule competency tests in other dormitories. You two are not, either. It's got a leak." Yusuf pointed at the two 2nd class students."

Harsa held a prayer mat facing the qibla. "Lock spout. We pray, Cell. Not both, though. So we can congregate."

Joseph laughed softly. "Bakal's a candidate for the lab, yeah, Sa. If so, ane unplug first. Assalamallaikum."

"Wa'alaikumsalam."

I'm getting a little awkward. I kept quiet because I was confused.

"Seli, ayok. We pray with the kids too."

I nodded and held a prayer rug behind Harsa with two beautiful and cute students beside me.
