MOON IN PESANTREN

MOON IN PESANTREN
Exam grid

Studying for exams makes me tired. I lay my body on the bed and closed my eyes for a moment.

"Seli, Seli." Nisa entered the room while calling my name.

"Why, Nis?" I still close my eyes.

"Your sister fought with a 6th-grader, Cell."

I sit on the edge of the bed. "Ragging again?"

"Yes. I went to Faaz's room. Kasian I saw it." Nisa pulled my hand so I could stand up.

This was the umpteenth time Faaz fought with his upperclassman or his classmates. There was a problem created by him. I as her brother was used to dealing with teachers because Faaz was famous for fighting.

It's a good thing that I did serve in Faaz's dormitory so I don't have to go far if Faaz has a problem or needs something.

When I arrived at Faaz's room, I saw Harsa treating Faaz's bloody elbow and being surrounded by Faaz's friends. I approached him immediately after saying hello.

"Thank you, Harsa. Here I am the one who continued medicine."

"It's over, really." Harsa tidied up the medicine box she had been using since.

I sat next to Faaz and stroked his hair. "His only brother's sister, why again until bloody gini elbow?"

Faaz did not reply, only a hiccup was still heard after crying earlier.

"Faaz was the same field as the 6th class football team. Actually there is a schedule for field use and today is a 4th class schedule for field use" said Harsa.

"Continue?"

"The 6th-grade football team wants to use the field today because soon they are up. Faaz and his friends also want to play so Faaz as captain does not give permission, fight them. Faaz got dredged with it."

"Astagfirullah, Faaz. So how do you keep fighting gini?"

"That's because Faaz was the same 6th grader that was pushing and Faaz jatoh until his elbow hit by the asphalt on the sidelines."

I tried to give advice to Faaz so that this would not happen again. " Faaz, you're not wrong because your team's schedule is playing today, but the 6th-grade brothers want to fight, so you give up first. Try from now on hindarin fighting, it's not good for you."

Faaz simply nodded as he gulped down water from his drinking bottle.

"Oh yeah, thanks, Sa."

"Liet. I also accidentally passed the field decket."

Faaz is asleep now. Me, Harsa and Faaz's friends came out of Faaz's room so he could rest. Actually this kind of wound was common for Faaz, but what made him cry seemed like he was surprised because the 6th grader who was playing a joke, maybe he felt bullied.

"Cell, that picture of you on the balcony I love you to me" Harsa said as we reached the stairs to the 1st floor.

"Fathimah's Ustadzah?"

All I know is that Harsa is the son of one of the ustadz and ustadzah here. Ustadzah Fathimah taught Aqidah Akhlak and became my homeroom teacher in this 12th grade and I only found out a few weeks ago that Harsa was the son of my homeroom teacher.

Harsa nodded.

I glared at him. "Why do you love, anyway? It's shame."

"Part of love."

I walked ahead of him. "It's not papa, it's just a photo of a doang. It won't reduce value either."

"Yes. I will love Umi because I am with how your nature or character."

I immediately turned to him and he did not respond, only walking towards his room in block A.

After I finished studying tonight, I immediately picked up my phone and opened the whatsapp app. Who knows if there are incoming messages, although they seem to rarely exist.

After I turned on the cellular data, I got a message from Harsa.

I told my friends straight away. "Guys, there are dalem people who want to give me aqidah grid."

"Who?"

"Si Harsa is the son of Ustadzah Fatima?" guess Iffah.

"Yes."

"Wess, mantab. His Ustadzah never gave a grid if the test, unless someone dared to ask," said Syilla.

"Take a. While we do not dare to ask again because surely later in the test memorized the material or not."

"Yes already. Where, Cell?"

"Today you will be given a notebook of him that has been marked. He said it was complicated to photograph it quite a lot."

"okay, Cell. We will immediately tell you."

Every time before the exam it is time to go and fro looking for grilles, obviously because not all teachers want to give grilles. For us the grid is very important because the material and subjects that are very much make us difficult to memorize which parts. That is santri, not only learning general lessons but also deepening religious knowledge.
