Chapter 9: The Return of Memory

Cheryl blinked her eyes. His head still feels heavy. When looking around, there was only a room dominated by white. Slowly his vision grew wider. He realized that he was now in the hospital.

The memories before he was there were clearly drawn in his brain. Surprisingly, his previous memories also returned. His head grew even more painful as the memories blended into one.

As a result of his falling into the river he recovered from amnesia. Now he knows his true self.

Janu with a neat appearance entered his treatment room. Cheryl threw away her face.

"Darling, I'm so worried about you." Janu peed at Cheryl's forehead. As he was about to hug, the woman pushed his body.

Cheryl was silent. He was eager to curse Janu with all his strength. He put up with it and pretended to be amnesiac.

He was afraid that if Janu knew his memory had returned, the man would treat him worse than now.

The grudge hidden in his heart was so great. He vowed revenge for the deaths of his parents.

"Trust me, that woman is nobody to me."

"If you're nobody, why do you call me crazy?" janu's insults to him still he remembered.

Janu closed the tablet screen that he had noticed earlier. He turned his chair to face Fin. "Say, what the doctor said."

"Miss Cheryl seems to have regained her memory."

Fin's words made Janu think about it. Cheryl's attitude yesterday that looks stiffer than usual. "How is he doing?"

"According to the doctor, Miss's condition has improved and can go home."

"Then, we'll pick him up now."

The two walked out of the room towards the parking area in front of the office building. Fin was driving in the front, while Janu was sitting in the back.

"What business in the next town have you done?" ask Janu.

"Already, Sir. PT Minasa Persada has switched ownership in your name."

Janu smiled at the smile. After several months of struggle, the company finally became his. Mastering the Cheryl family-owned company became the first step to retake PT Atmajaya Sentosa.

"Mr Kenzo asked about you a while ago" Fin said.

"My brother why?"

"He asked about your return."

"If he calls again, just tell him I'll be home after my business is done" he asked.

"Good, Sir."

Janu deliberately ignores every message and call that comes from his brother. He wanted to achieve his goal this time with his own ability.

The fate experienced by Cheryl was also experienced Janu. His entire family was wiped out by Mr. X. If he and his brother were not invited to hide by a housekeeper, he might also have died with his family. Of the terrible tragedy, only he, his brother, and one of his house servants survived.

"Mahaha ...." Cheryl laughing. "Aren't you ashamed of marrying a woman who's lost her memory? Besides being cruel, it turns out that people like you are cowardly and cunning!" he gave a sharp look to Janu.

"You're right. I am such a person. That's why I don't want to divorce you or let you go." Janu started to show his cold tone.

"I can complain to the police that you have robbed me of my freedom. I'll also call my family's lawyers to sue you."

"Do it! Justdoit! The more you try to fight, the more you suffer." Instead of following Cheryl's will, Janu challenges the woman's courage.

"You think I'll let you torture me? I'd rather die!" cheryl.

The woman got up from her seat. He walked towards the window of his room.

Janu who saw had a bad feeling. He took a thousand steps toward Cheryl. Fin panicked to see it.

His wife is crazy. If only he had held her too late, the woman would have plunged down.

"Let go!" Cheryl tries to escape Janu.

"You're out of your mind? I've been working hard to save you and now you want to die?" snapped Janu emotion.

"Who told you to help me? To die is better than you torment!"
