Chapter 8: Anxiety

"This stupid woman really ...."

Janu ignores his sense of regret towards Cheryl. He plunged into the river, following a stream swift enough to reach the woman's body.

Cheryl appears to be trying to pop her head against the surface of the water. His legs cramp and cannot be used for swimming. The current continues to carry him drifting downstream. Sometimes he felt his body hit the rocks and scratched the branches around the river flow. He fainted when his head hit a rock.

Janu accelerated his movements. The woman seemed to be motionless, just drifting along with the flow of water. He became more panicked. After much effort, he finally grabbed Cheryl's body.

She pulled the woman's body to the edge. Janu panting. He was very tired and almost out of breath. They were dragged by the water quite far.

"Cheryl, open your eyes! Cheryl!" Janu tried to pat the woman on the cheek. There was no response. He was worried about the woman until she died.

Janu puts pressure on Cheryl's chest with regular movements, hoping that the woman can wake up and let out the water that has been swallowed. Feeling his efforts had not been successful, he gave a breath of help.

"Cheryl's awake!" janu shouted in panic. All his efforts have not borne fruit.

He finally decided to remove the woman's body and took her on a walk for help.

"Please ... Please ...," she cried frantically as she carried Cheryl.

The place he was at this time was quite quiet, there were rarely any vehicles passing by. A few minutes waiting, a car finally appeared. He stood in the middle of the road stopping the car.

"What's this?" a man whose car was stopped Janu got off was about to curse. Seeing their condition soaked, and the woman who seemed to be fainting, he became heartless.

"Please take us to the nearest hospital. He was washed up in the river" Janu said.

"Ah, yes. Get in the car!"

They rushed into the car. The wife of the car owner was surprised to see someone who had just entered their car.

"Why is that, Dad?" ask the wife to worry.

"Say was washed away in the river" the husband replied as he re-applied his car.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Cheryl was immediately rushed to the IGD. The doctors immediately tried to help.

Janu still looks anxious about the woman's condition. He couldn't even call Thor to come there. He asked a nurse to contact the man.

"Ariana," called Janu in a soft tone.

The woman called looked over. Knowing the person who came was Janu, he turned his eyes back and put on an annoyed face. He refocused on the painting he was doing.

Since the incident that night, he has blocked Janu's number. In fact, he told the bodyguard to expel the man every time he came to see him.

"How did you get in here?" ariana asked without looking at Janu. There should be some bodyguards out there guarding the studio where the hobby of painting.

Ariana guessed it. "It turns out you are good at taking people's hearts," Ariana said with a cynical smile.

Which woman is not angry when she heard that a woman came claiming to be the wife of her own boyfriend. Although Janu does not admit, his girlfriend's treatment that night further makes him doubtful. Ariana waited a long time at the restaurant but Janu never returned to see her.

"I want to apologize and straighten things out, Ariana." Janu spoke again. His tone sounded sincere and full of regret. Whoever hears will easily believe that.

Ariana quickened her hand to scratch the color paint on the canvas. He expressed his anger through the painting being made.

"The woman was hospitalized for attempting suicide. He's not even conscious."

Janu tries to hide his anxiety about Cheryl's condition. Although upset, after all the woman was the son of the woman who had saved him. He couldn't just let the woman die.

He has to maintain a relationship with Ariana. There is a hidden purpose in his possession to keep in close contact with the Ariana family.

"Then, what did you come here for? Just go with that woman! She's your wife!" ariana's Omelette.

"You still believe his confession? Come on, Ariana! What if 10 people claim to be my wife, you'll believe me right away?" Janu confirmed his words. He tried to tell his wife that it wasn't his fault. "Whoever can confess. But that's not true!"

Ariana looked up and gave a sharp look. "If it's not true, why do you seem to care so much about him? You can leave me in the restaurant alone like a madman!"

He still remembered that he kept waiting for Janu to return until the restaurant he came to almost closed. He cried alone in the face of an already cold food order.

Janu was silent for a moment. "Ariana, I'm sorry. I was wrong," he said. He kept trying to persuade her to forgive him.

"I don't really care about him. But, he's the son of an ex-servant in my house. She went a little crazy having been tortured by her husband and lost her baby. He's so obsessed with me" Janu said.

"Yesterday I tried to advise him, but he fell into the river. He's going to kill himself."

Hearing Janu's explanation, Ariana was shocked to herself. He did not expect that the woman who claimed to be Janu's wife was really a crazy woman. Looks like the woman was touched by Janu's story.

"Are you going to let someone like that just die?" asked Janu in a serious tone.

Ariana shook. As a fellow woman, there was no way she would feel sorry for such an incisive story.

Janu grabbed Ariana's left hand and kissed her. "I hope you don't misunderstand me, honey. The woman I love is just you."

I don't know why Ariana's heart went down. He was relieved to listen to the writing directly from the lover. He put down a paint brush and then he hugged the man's body sincerely.

"If you lie to me, I will hate you to death!" said Ariana with a warm tone. Although upset, he is very afraid of losing Janu. Ariana loved that man.

Janu just smiled while stroking Ariana's back. "I'm not going to lie to you, Ariana. I love you so much. Some days I can't see you, I feel like I'm going to die" he boasted.

They met while studying abroad. Both are campuses, but different departments. Because they are both from the same country, their relationship becomes closer. Feeling comfortable with each other when together, finally decided to date.
