Chapter 67: The Secret Under the Table

"Sir Kenzo ...."

Ariana left one of the customers in her office and handed it over to the staff when she saw Kenzo coming to her workplace. Ariana gives a warm hug to the sister of her fiance. They knew each other when they were in America.

"I didn't expect you to finally use your knowledge" Kenzo said.

Ariana is a civil engineering graduate. Previously the woman helped her family handle the business. Ariana started her own company as a development consultant.

"This was my dream since childhood. If I don't make it happen, I don't think my life will matter" Ariana said.

He invited Kenzo to sit in his room and serve drinks available in the refrigerator.

"I didn't know Kenzo was coming. Why not tell me?" ariana protests.

"If I tell you, his name is not a surprise."

Kenzo looked at Ariana. He recalled Janu and Cheryl. It feels pity to see the woman if she will feel hurt later.

"Where is Aunt Silvia?" tanyakanya.

"He's still in the United States. Maybe soon will come."

"Just let me know that Aunt Silvia is coming. I'm going to pick her up at the airport myself" Ariana said excitedly.

Kenzo could only smile.

Kenzo lifted his shoulders. "He's still in prison." he looks lazy to talk about his mother's husband. Since long ago, he thought his mother was never becus choose a life companion. His father who was truly a responsible man was even deliberately left behind.

"I'm a little disappointed to hear about Om Dimitri. I can't believe he's become ...." Ariana could not continue her words.

"It's not just you being surprised, Mommy and I are the same. Never mind, we don't have to talk about it anymore."

"Sorry, yeah. Brother Kenzo must be uncomfortable." Ariana felt guilty for discussing Dimitri.

"What about your relationship with Janu?" ask Kenzo to know.

"We? Of course it's still fine." Ariana answered with a little laugh. It was strange for Kenzo to ask that.

"Your feelings haven't changed for her?"

"Sir Kenzo why? Of course we still love each other. Is that wrong?" Ariana was curious.

"Not so, a woman as beautiful as you why would you like my sister? He's so boring and annoying. You should be looking for a man who is more cheerful and can make you laugh."

Ariana smiled. "Eitherway. I've loved it since I first met."

Ariana re-imagined the moment of their first meeting when the family was introduced. Janu looks like a cold guy. Even smiling is expensive. However, the cold side that makes Ariana interested because of curiosity.

"The additional funds from Mr. Kenzo have been used to buy additional shares of the company, Mr" Finn said.

"Did they know who I was?" Janu was sitting leaning back leisurely in his chair.

"Before that happens, we've got to get rid of them. I've been so caught off guard watching them still live quietly after destroying my family."

Although he has not found any solid evidence, Janu believes Thea Rudianto is the mastermind behind the death of his family.

"Wait a minute, sir. If you do not need to dirty your hands, you should stay seated calmly. I'll make sure to bring good news for you."

Janu smiling. Finn can always count on.

The sound of the door being knocked. A janitor came into the room to clean up the garbage in the room.

"Excuse me, Sir. I want to take out the trash" Bono said.

Janu just nodded in comfort. They stopped talking for a moment as Bono picked up the old garbage bag and replaced it with a new one.

"I'm done, sir," he said.

"Go outside!" pinta Finn

"Ah, yes. What cardboard under the table should I throw away? I've been wanting to ask for a long time but I've forgotten" asked Bono.

Finn and Janu looked at each other. Both of them did not understand what the janitor of his office said.

Janu instantly put away his chair and squatted under his desk. Sure enough, there is a cardboard box. He never felt like he was putting that thing there.

"What is that, sir?" asked Finn in a soft tone and approached his superior.

"I don't know either, Finn."

Janu pulled the cardboard from under his desk. He opened the cardboard. There is a file and a cell phone in it. They were both surprised when they saw the writing of PT Atmajaya Sentosa printed thick on the leading sheet.

"Finn, get that OB out of our room!" pinta Janu lirih's.

Finn immediately got up and approached the OB who was still standing at the door. "It looks like there are some important documents. After you've sorted it out, you can throw it away" Finn said calmly.

"Oh, fine, sir. Then, excuse me for going out" he said.

After the OB came out, Finn washes their room. There is something serious in the cardboard hidden under the table.

Finn ran over to his boss when he heard something fall. Janu's face looked pale while the phone inside the cardboard dropped.

Finn picked it up out of curiosity about the thing that made his boss look panicked. Apparently there is a photo of the body of the Janu family immortalized on the phone. Looks like the owner of the phone accidentally immortalized the faces that were killed.

Finn took a glass of water and gave it to Janu. Her boss still looked shocked by what she had just seen.
