Chapter 18: Give Me a Job

"Why go home? Clear out with a girlfriend?"

Janu throws his innuendo when Cheryl just entered the living room. There was a clear look of melancholy on the woman's face. He thought his wife really wouldn't go home after seeing her boyfriend. It turns out his guess was wrong.

"He doesn't want to be with a poor woman, does he?" ledek Janu's. He was very satisfied to make the woman even more upset. "You are no one without your family's wealth. Haha ...."

"Can you give me a job? I graduated in business administration. Maybe you can put me in one of the positions in Papa's company" Cheryl said in a weak tone.

"What do you work for? I know you're the kind of kid Papa can't do anything about. You don't have to complicate yourself, just obey me and your needs will be fulfilled."

Cheryl shakes. "My father is dead. I want to learn how to make my own money so I can run away from you!" emphatically.

Janu chuckles. He did not expect the answer would come from his wife's mouth. "You are so funny. In fact, working is not as fun as you think. Are you going to be strong?" he hesitated a little with her.

"Don't underestimate me. I used to be lazy to work because my parents were rich. If it's a work matter, I'm a responsible person!" Cheryl said confidently.

Janu was silent for a moment. He thought of a job that would be suitable for his wife. "Ah, I know. What if I put you in PT Atmajaya Sentosa?" tanyakanya.

"That big company? It used to belong to your family, right?" Cheryl was surprised to hear that.

Janu nodded. "You don't worry. Even though that company has become someone else's, I have a way of getting you in there. You're sure to be happy one office with your girlfriend, right?" sindir Janu's.

"I love to make my wife happy. Including getting closer to her boyfriend. Am I the dream husband?"

Thanks to help from Mr. Handoko, Janu finally has a gap to infiltrate his father's old company. He believes one of the top brass there is related to the murder of his family.

"I'm not sure" said Janu.

Finn was confused as to why his boss wanted his wife to go into the company but he was not sure himself.

"But, we'll see. He's a hard person to guess. Let him have a little trouble with the outside life."

"But ... Madam must still be the target of the murder." Finn was overwhelmed by his master's decision.

Janu smiled a smile. "It's your job to protect her, Finn. Do your best so that your safety is guaranteed. But, do not be conspicuous to provide security to him. I don't think he'd be comfortable being given a bodyguard so blatantly."

"Good, Sir."

"Again, the people there don't know him very well. I don't think it's gonna be a problem." Janu was sure his plan this time would go smoothly.
