MARRIAGE TRAP

MARRIAGE TRAP
CONSCIOUSNESS

Romy took their bags to the master bedroom, and Lyra followed, taking out her belongings, and then taking her laptop and bag.

"You can use my work space."

The part of the room with the man was not conducive to focusing, so he pointed to the small sitting room in the room. "Thank you, but I'm here."

Lyra did not see the amused expression in Romy's black eyes as she traversed the room and lingered on letting out everything she needed.

When Lyra looked up a few minutes later, Romt was out of the room, and he was whistling to get to work.

Lyra's work took a long time, and Lyra was almost done when she saw a folded sheet of paper. Was the paper accidentally added between stacks of tasks?

A letter typed unsigned, and at first glance seemingly harmless, only long sentences filled with praise for his dedication as a teacher. Lyra folded the paper back and slipped it in her pocket.

It was late when he finished his things. Lyra then took a bath, and went to the bedroom, staring at the large bed, unable to decide which side to sleep on.

"Does that matter?"

He heard Romy's comments slightly amused and gasped as he turned towards the man.

Lyra did not hear Romy enter the room and her eyes clashed with Romy for a few seconds long until the man began to remove the shirt buttons.

It was the movement that prompted Lyra to move, and she quickly made her way to the bed, slipping on the bedsheet and pulling the blanket up to her chin.

Carefully he chose to look anywhere other than the man who had unknowingly undressed and walked naked into the bathroom.

Sleep should be young, but the muscles in her body feel tense, and Lyra changes position twice before lying sideways and curling up.

Lyra heard Romy return to the room, felt her lying on the side of the bed under the covers, and then heard a nearly subtle click as the room darkened.

For an endless few minutes Lyra started counting numbers.she had already reached a hundred before starting to think of passive-form verbs.

Nothing worked, and he slowly slowed his breathing, thinking of memories in happier moments, and suffocated in shock when he felt a small movement, and an arm pulled him closer.

"Look easy." That raucous sounding sounded very close to his ears.

It was as if Lyra could do it curled up on Romy's naked body, with the man's warm palm cupping his chest and the man's one tall leg wrapped around his leg?

"Sleep, unless you want me to help you?"

Romy's warm breath wafts slowly over his head, and Lyra can feel the man's hard heartbeat on his back. His heart slowly calmed down, then his eyelids closed as he finally fell asleep.

When Lyra woke up, the morning light penetrated into the room, and she turned her head, looked at the empty bed, then took her watch to look at the time.

There was no sign of Romy's whereabouts as Lyra rushed over to pick clean clothes. After bathing and getting dressed, neatly curling her hair at the top of her head and finished wearing thin makeup, Lyra took her laptop and bag and went down to the kitchen where the aroma of hot coffee was delicious.

Romy was sitting at the dining table in a more relaxed dining room, and his piercing gaze clashed with Lyra for a few seconds. "Good morning."

There was no reason for Lyra to feel awkward, and she covered it well with a bright smile. "Hi."

Romy is like a successful businessman, clean shaving, neat appearance, and designer suits that are not in doubt made specifically for him.

This early morning the man seemed too attractive, Oh, just tell me the truth.. Romy is too attractive at what time pin either day or night!

Sarah rushed out of the kitchen with her still-warm toast and cereal. "Beautiful morning." said an angry "I hope you sleep well?"

It was just a polite question and showed some attention. But remembering how he slept, curled up in Romy's bare arms, made his cheeks meet red, and Lyra managed to answer politely. "Very good, thank you." He deliberately poured coffee into his cup and added sugar before sipping it a little.

"Are you busy today?"

Lyra chose toast, fresh fruits and yogurt, then started preparing it while answering. "Some classes in a row, pause for a moment in the afternoon." He asked for politeness. "And you?"

"busy. Meetings at night that might take time."

"So, I don't have to wait for you for dinner?"

"No." Romy glanced at his watch, then finished the rest of his coffee and stood up. "I have to go."

Lyra felt unprepared when Romy approached her, cupped her chin and gave a short, touching kiss and managed to get all her emotions out.

It was annoying that the man knew him, and when Romy looked up, Lyra looked at him with a questioning look. He thought he would see a scornful look but he didn't.

"See you later." without saying more Romy picked up his laptop and briefcase, said goodbye to Sarah and walked out of the room.

Lyra tried hard to finish her breakfast but her appetite was gone, and she just filled her cup of coffee and finished it, then she took her laptop and bag, greeted Sarah then headed to the garage, turned on the machine, and then she took the laptop and the bag, and struggling between the traffic jams to the northern suburbs.
