Mandalas
Coordination Trickad

“All gathered, Neena. Meeting ready to start”, Commander Ri reported. He stood his back against a large glass table in the main meeting room of Trikad headquarters.

Neena flicked her dress and sat down gracefully on the very seat of the table. “Good, let's start.”

Everyone present in the room sat up straight. Commander Ri and Commander Hos sat flanking Neena

at the end of the table. Mn. Sito and Mn. Kay is on the left side of Commander Ri. Across them sat a woman in her 50s with a thick projection of beauty and a man of a relatively similar age. Both of them wore old grey shirt uniforms with the inscription “Main Laboratory” on the chest of the right side and black subordinates made of loose cloth. On the left side of the old woman, sat Commissioner Roman, the highest Reppe observer. Everyone looked serious and looked at Neena in her place.

“I want to hear the chronology of last night's events. Mn. Sito can you please explain?”

Sito took out his tablet and tapped it slowly. He began to read.

“Since 19:00 last night, Four main units of Mandala were assigned to guard four doors

main Trikad. Mn Units. Tria at the north gate and around the mountains, unit Mn. Andri at the southwest gate, unit Mn. The hero at the east gate, and Mn. Kay at the main gate and its extension.

“All units already occupy a position at that time. At 20:45, the unit Mn. Kay identified 6 Lentipede-shaped creatures with a height of approximately 1.5 meters that appeared from the west. Lentipede moves quickly but does not go to the main gate, but instead departs straight into the FIGHTERR.

“Then the unit Mn.Kay, assisted by a portion of the unit Mn. Maha's after the Lentipede who's been

entering FIGHTER. Then communication is cut off so that the two units are scattered. Mn. Maha managed to find the six Lentipede in the old library FIGHTR.”

“Deconnected?” chirp the woman with the gray shirt. “Is there really a disturbance in

your tools?”

Mn. Kay cleared her throat. “I intend to ask you this at the end of the submission by

Mn.Sito but call you ask.”

Mn. Kay glanced at Neena asking for approval.

              “Continue,” says Neena.

“We can't contact each other. The Internet was dead when we got into the BATTLER gate. We've tried all the members' communication tools, even old mobile phones can't be used. Is there any explanation from you related to this?”

The man in the gray uniform replied, “We did not hold a network closure in any area last night.

“But, indeed this morning we received quite a lot of complaints especially in the southern gate fraction.”

“Could be because there are many parents who try to contact their children in FIGHTR

by the time the quarantine starts,” said the old woman.

The man seemed a little confused by his friend's statement. But he said nothing.

“So, what caused us to not be able to contact each other? There must be a good explanation

from LTK.” ask Mn. Kay.

(LTK is a Technology and Communication Laboratory)

“Has anyone checked the core chips of each of your vests? Damage could have happened in the hardware while in the field.” asked the woman.

Sito and Kay glanced at each other. Both of them looked at the old woman.

“Tools instantly reconnect after we exit the area. If there is a damage to the equipment

it's on us, we don't need to ask you,” Kay replied.

There was a sound of glass on the end of the table. Neena looked at Kay and the woman. “Maybe

we should focus on chronology first. Professor Said, may I have a review of last night's communication network?”

The man nodded. “Good, Neena.” Profs. Said opened his tablet and traced various Trikad charts and maps projected into the air. The woman sitting next to him seemed uncomfortable. He fixed his hair repeatedly.

“Can I continue?” ask Sito. Neena nodded her sign approvingly.

“Mn. With its members, Mn. Joke fought the six giant Lentipede in front of the library. It is not yet known what attracted the creature to move there. Only known there were two students who were there at the time of the attack.”

“This is the second time,” says Neena. His face hardened. He knocks his finger at the table.

“Iya, true Neena. These two days there have been 2 Lentipede attacks at night. The number and size of their body becomes very large.”

“We don't know yet if this is an evolutionary product anymore. Especially considering the events of 12 years ago which also killed a lot of civilians inside and outside Trikad. It could be that the remaining Lentipede mutated again and produced something different.” Kay added.

Neena stopped tapping her finger. He looked towards Commander Ri. “Back to the past.”

Commander Hos raised his hand. “Neena, We have to warn Freo in another city. They

also must be ready if indeed Lentipede has evolved.” Commander Ri nodded his consenting sign.

“Especially Mikrad. We haven't heard from them yet,”

“Sito, does our ambassador in Konrad have any information related to Mikrad?”

              “Not yet, Neena.”

“So far Lentipede has not been seen in other areas of the island. But we have already given official news

from Geduna to other cities related to this 2-day attack,” said Sito added.

“Good. So far we've focused the defense inside the city.” Neena circulates her hand to

whole room. “I want to hear the defense strategy tonight.”

Commander Ri nodded towards Sito. Then Sito tapped on his tablet to bring up

trickad charts and maps in the middle of the meeting table. On the projection, the entire cityscape is visible: tall buildings, a statue of the Trikad logo, empty tram terminals, residential residents surrounding the city center, and the, as well as a large area that is opposite the main gate, FIGHTERR. There are bright blue dots that concentrate on the four gates and around FIGHTERR. The five red dots scattered across each gate are conspicuous between the blue dots.

“This is a live broadcast from all over the city. We assign 1 unit for daytime and 2 units at night to keep watch at each gate.” Sito zoomed in on the projection to display the central building where they were all located. One blue dot and one black dot appear to be sitting side by side. Sito pressed the black dot and his own name label appeared on it.

Then he shifted the view of the city towards the south, where the main gate was decorated 5

blue dot and one red dot. He pointed to a blue dot near the main gate. A label appears on it: “Moonasera Dolyan, Unit 2: On.” The label moved following the blue dot Sito pointed at. Then

Sito removed the label and pointed to a single silent red dot at the southwest gate. The label reappeared, saying: “Moonasera Joke B. Main Unit: Active.”

“All main unit personnel will stand guard alternately as a liaison in the center.” Sito let the label keep popping up so everyone can monitor where Mn is going. Joke moves around the main gate. “They've been on guard since morning. We are worried that the creature comes not only at night.”

“Is not excessive?” The old woman asked in a surprised tone. “If all units are hired alternately during the day, Trikad will lack personnel at night.”

Sito raised his head, looking at the woman with a piercing hand. “Of course not,

everything is well calculated. I know how to set up our active units in order to optimally protect the city.”

Sito turned his head towards Neena, “Do you want to hear how the calculation

which we have designed for this guard schedule?”

Neena smiled small, “No need, I believe Moonasera already set this up well.”

Sito nodded, a hint of satisfaction seen from his look. “Good, Neena.” The woman shrugged her shoulders and rolled her eyeballs to the left. Audible *******breath fatigue from Prof. Said. The wrinkles in both corners of his eyes were more visible.

Commander Ri cleared his throat. “I will continue on the security of citizens in the city and in

around the border.” Commander Ri was silent for a moment, waiting for the approval of Neena. “Good, continue.”

Commander Hos tapped on his tablet and added the black stripes on the projection that Sito had previously made. The stripes line the four gates surrounded by Mandalas across the border. Several black lines were seen surrounding the residential complex in the inner circle and outer ring of the city.

Several buildings in FIGHTERR were bounded by the same black line, as were the gates.

“We closed all temporary gates. There are no flights and voyages coming from

and to Trikad. We are worried that there will be more casualties if residents are left to activity in the city,” Commander Hos said.

Neena nodded in agreement. “I support city restrictions. Close all access so residents are safe inside his house.”

“With a look at history, approximately how long can we fight the creature?”

“Of course, they are huge now,” chirps The old lady suddenly. “We have to review their patterns again. Maybe Miss Greeta can help us? I remember LTK had an algorithm to analyze the attack and the movement of the enemy. It will be able to help us all in predicting the arrival of the creature again.” Sito looked straight at Bu Greeta who looked surprised.

“Actually..” Cut Prof. Said. “This attack is different from the previous one. The amount is too small to count back. But maybe I can help you the possibility of whichever direction they come from. Do you want us to make that analysis back?” ask Prof.Said.

“I would appreciate it very much, Prof. That's what we need to predict

next step.” Neena smiled at Prof. Said.

“Komandan Ri, temporarily prepare our basic needs to be distributed throughout

town. We must still prepare for the worst even though we strive for the best.”

“But Neena, we have not been able to contact Mikrad to order food needs. They don't

responding since the news spread Hydroform,” said Commander Ri.

Neena's facial sharpening. “They seem to take the allegations seriously. We haven't

get the mastermind spread the accusations Hydroform?”

“So far we haven't gotten anything. Some people claim they get

hydroform samples from people outside Trikad unknown,” Commissioner Roman said. “We are interviewing citizens further about the spreader.”

They all know the case of Hydroform can stretch the relationship between cities that have been increasingly tenuous in recent years. Trikad's accusation of having its citizens grow crops by the Hydroform method really influenced Mikrad's officials in distributing staple foods to Trikad. They thought Trikad would take over Mikrad's specifications as a barn and food city and take over the entire island. Trikad officials were on the verge of quashing these accusations before the Lentipede attack came again.

“What might have to do with Gephu?” ask Commander Ri. They all looked at Commander Ri. Commissioner Roman shook his head. “Gephu is just a conspiracy move made by a group of people in search of sensation. We closed the case last week.”

Kay whispered to Sito. “What does Gephu mean that is being debated by cheap politicians lately? About the movement in favor of Trikad rule another city?”

Sito nodded. “Commissioner Roman who led the investigation on Gephu. He said the case is over, no proof.”

“We can make sure the rebel movement does not do anything related to this hydroform case,” Commissioner Roman said.

Neena nodded. “I will wait for its development. Don't let your guard down,” he told Commissioner Roman. Silence approached them for a moment.

Commander Hos asked, “Food availability last semester is still half of our calculation. Can we use it temporarily?”

He rubbed his tablet, the projection of the table of basic necessities appeared beside the projection of the city. Recorded 130% in the total percentage of meeting basic food needs for these three months.

“Ya, I agree.” Neena tapped her fingers at the table, looking serious in thought. “I will contact Freo Mikrad to get this straight. However we are all bound by the One Island Decree which cannot be breached.”

The quiet atmosphere in the meeting room. Commander Ri and Hos are busy taking notes. Profs. Said still

looking for something from the tablet. While Kay notices Bu Greeta who he just met this time. Kay said it must not be her who was upset with the behavior of the mother throughout this meeting.

“We will find the spreader of the allegations as soon as possible,” Commissioner Roman said breaking the silence. “Faster is better. We should be able to convince Mikrad and maintain a good relationship with them.”

“Anyone potentially interfere with Trikad's sovereignty will be given sanctions that are not playful.” Neena spoke in a sharp tone. A aura of tension enveloped the meeting room. Everyone stopped doing their activities.

Then Neena asked back, “Prof Said, have you found anything about

network interference in FIGHTER last night?”

Profs. Said nodded a few times. “I already reviewed the network across the city last night.”

“Indeed it said no network damage or outage.” Sito and Kay were surprised. Commander Hos scrunched his forehead. Neena tapped her finger at the table. “Hmm.. weird once.”

“But, we completely lost communication last night. If that doesn't happen, there probably won't be any casualties,” Kay said in a confused and upset tone.

“Our data doesn't lie, Moons,” Bu Greeta said with a annoying smile. “I guess you can understand that.”

Profs. Said raised his hand, asking for attention.” Maybe the damage is on

hardware used.”

Kay had already prepared to utter the words of the attack that was inside her head before

eventually prevented by Sito. He looked at Kay fixedly, begging not to continue.

“We can send people to check your device to Geduna. Just make sure.”

Profs. Said tried to offer that option. Neena nodded. “Please.”

“We will report the results after that. Maybe a device update can also be done to avoid further damage.”

Sito knows Kay is not completely satisfied with the decision. But, in the end

Kay lowered her head slightly and said nothing more.

“Well, is there anything still unclear?” ask Neena. His eyes swept clean all his comrades

who's in that room. “That's enough, Neena. I will report if there has been a development of the Hydroform case or if there is news from Mikrad again related to food needs,”, said Commander Ri.

“We will continue to stand guard at the border as planned. I'll let you know if it happens

something,” Sito said firmly.

“We will make an analysis of Lentipede's attack this time. I will be calling you soon.”

Profs. Said returned Neena's gaze convincingly.

              “Good, my meeting suffice.”

Sito turned off his projection and folded his tablet back. Neena and the two commanders spoke

at the end of the temporary table Prof. Said and Bu Greeta paid their respects and walked out of the room. Kay couldn't help but ask.

“Moons, I never saw that mother during a meeting with LTK. Who the hell is he?” ask Kay

half whispered. Sito drew closer and turned his body away from Neena's sight. “He's a substitute Prof. Jery who should be with Prof.Said attended this meeting, one of the high councils at LTK. Profs. Jery said he was sick.”

“She looks pretentious and sucks,” Kay said grumbling. Sito just took his breath and

small nod. “I agree.”

I heard a high shoe approaching. When Kay glanced behind Sito's back, Neena was already standing behind them. Sito turned his body and saluted. Neena nodded her head and smiled.

“Moonasera Sito, there are some things I want to talk about. Do you have time

briefly?”

Sito turned to look at Kay for a moment. “Ya, of course.”

“Then I say goodbye first. My unit has also been waiting for me at the main gate.” Kay smiled at Sito and Neena. After paying her respects, Kay turned around and walked out of the meeting room.

When Kay stepped out of the automatic door, Prof. Said called him suddenly. “Moonasera Kayrina.”

Kay was rather surprised to see this man as old as her father was waiting at the door. “Siang, Professor. I thought you'd gone home first.”

Kay glanced around, trying to find the figure of the woman she wanted to avoid. But it looks like Prof. Said is alone now. “Oh, yes I forgot to ask you something. Can we directly check the hardware in Geduna today?”

Kay was surprised by his question. Kay actually also refused to think about

“checking device” that he knows is not the source of the problem here. “Can, Prof.”

“Although I am not sure if true damage exists to the hardware embedded in the

our vest,” say Kay again.

“We talk about it later. Is Moons willing to accompany me?” said Prof. Said hurry.

Kay thought for a moment. “Of course. Mn. Sito will be very busy organizing active units

be in charge. I'll ask permission to accompany you.”

“Good. I am going to Geduna this afternoon.” said Prof. Said. It was obvious that he was very tense, like there were things that could not be said. Like keeping a secret.
