Mandalas

Mandalas
Epilogues

“I've been very good. You can't keep me here,” Kay said on her bed. He's in Gardnella room 01. There was no insulating glass blocking Kay with her visitor or nurse. But Kay hoped that the glass would exist, so that this person would not get too close when he visited her every day.

“One more day, Kay. Why the hurry, anyway?” says Maha. This time he brought Kay a little panda doll to prop her up by the neck. Or according to the Supreme.

Kay laughed at Maha's reply. “Don't you have anything more important than being here?”

“Who are you? Why are you setting up what I do?” said Maha, pretend to be serious.

“You're getting annoying now. What did that thing do to you?” kay asked with a laugh.

“Do not know,” replied Maha. He looked at Kay, “What did they do to you?”

Kay was silent and lowered. He swallowed his mouth nervously. “I'm off guard... They're too many. I've never fought a creature that big.”

Maha looked at Kay more closely. “I'm sorry, you shouldn't have been there.”

Kay returned Maha's gaze. He had never seen him look upon him like this. Then he laughed, “What the hell did you melt once.”

“No, really.” She still looked at him with the same face. “I'm sorry.”

Kay shakes. “Nothing to forgive, Chairman. I survived and now I'm better. You don't have to visit me anymore because you feel guilty.”

“I am not here because I feel guilty to you,” Maha said.

              Kay raised her eyebrows, “No?”

“Of course not. Why don't you realize it.”

“I don't understand what you mean.”

He folded his hands in front of his chest. “Hmm... I have to use another way.” Kay was very confused. He was not understanding what he was talking about. Then the bracelet t95 Maha vibrates, Mn. Sito sent a formal message to Maha.

“OK, I have to go,” Maha said.

              “Yes, perg-“

Kay's words were cut off because Maha kissed her forehead. Then without feeling guilty, Maha snatched her out of the treatment room. Kay was interrupted for a few seconds.

Then he smiled and laughed a little.  It turns out so, Kay said inwardly.

“Where did you steal clothes from?”

              “It's got my mom.”

              “You never wore it.”

“Ngapain I wear when I meet you.”

“Huh, you must have stolen it somewhere. Or Amber lent him?”

Leno. He remembered Amber who had repeatedly forced Leno to wear her formal suit. The shirt is just a tight leg that makes him unable to breathe.

Leno pegs herself in front of Mia's insulating glass. A faintly visible shadow of herself wearing a semi-transparent white blouse, with a white T-shirt interior, and a dark blue knee-length stamped skirt. Her hair was pinched high like a ponytail. He even took off his running shoes and wore shoes covered in leather, without high heels. Leno showed Amber and Sept the look when they called him this morning. Amber screamed hysterically, while Sept did not blink at all.

Looks like this suit is good enough for later events. “Already, don't hold on. Later break this glass.” Leno laughing. Mia laughed with him. It's been a week since Leno came home from Geduna. Leno spent the next days visiting Mia after school, especially when Leno knew Mia would soon have surgery for her right arm. Only 2 days can they talk. And only 2 days later did they mock each other again.

              “How's your hand?” ask Leno.

Mia raised her left hand which was still wrapped in bandages. “They will open it today.” Leno looked down sad. “I..”

“No.. no more apologies. I've heard it many times,” Mia said firmly.

“I.. glad you're better,” Leno said. He lifted his lips, trying to smile. “You've also said that a hundred times. In short messages, voice messages, on the phone, when you meet you say the same thing,” said Mia. Leno laughing.

“But, I'm so moved. You really pay attention to me,” continued Mia. The situation in the room became awkward. Leno chuckles, “Apaan anyway, Mi.” She laughed with Leno.

The door of the room was opened. He put his head into the room. “Lee, come. It's time,” call Maha.

Leno nodded. He said to Mia, “I go first, don't go anywhere.”

“Do not want, I want to take a walk to the beach,” said Mia.

Leno laughed and waved his hand. Mia waved back while laughing as well. Smiling to see them both.

With Maha, Leno took the elevator to the - 2nd floor. Maha brought Leno into a large room, the Geduna Hall. There were hundreds of flying chairs floating without being occupied. The chairs were facing a large stage containing a podium. Behind the podium are the Trikad flag, a Neena hologram, and the flying Trikad emblem. The hall was bright, but there was no one there. I asked Leno to come in

Mn. Joke and two other people, Bon and Frian, were standing in front of the oval table. There were men in white suits like Maha but looked older, Mn. Sito, and also Prof. Said. At the end of the table stood Neena Trikad in a very graceful dark blue dress. Leno lowered his head in awkward salute.

“Welcome to Geduna.” A heavy male voice greeted Leno. He lifted his body back up. Mn. Sito smiled at him. “Please sit.”

Maha nodded to Leno, hinting Leno to follow him. Leno sits on flops by Joke and Maha.

              “You look different,” Joke whispered.

“What is this overreacting?” ask Leno nervously.

“No. It's just so good.” Joke smiled. Leno was relieved to hear that.

“Lenolea Arbour Vitae, very beautiful name. How do I call you?” ask Mn. Sito.

              “Lee only enough.”

“Wah, you're pretty tomboy apparently.” Mn. Sito smiled, “Oke, Lee. I want you to know us all.”

Mn. Sito introduced who was sitting with them one by one. Leno gave an awkward salute every time they smiled at him.

“Sa.I represent my father, apologizing that he could not attend. He was just sent to Heriad to work there,” Leno said.

Mn. Sito nodded. “It's okay. We have received an official letter from the concerned.”

He cleared a little, then resumed, continuing, “Our goal of inviting you here is actually to give you a sign of thanks for fighting with us that night.”

“It is undeniable that it is a careless act, breaking the rules, and not

responsible.”

Leno felt very awkward. He still feels a little guilty.

“But, maybe things wouldn't be like now without you. You managed to save one of our best Mandalas. We are very grateful for that.” Mn. Sito smiled again at Leno.

              Leno looked down again. “Sama-sama.”

“Lee, don't duck too much,” whispered Joke. Leno glanced at him a little. He nodded.

“We will be very happy if you want to receive gifts from us.” Mn. Sito opened a box. Leno saw that it was a green-colored identification paper with a small fir coat of arms. That

is the initial key code when you buy a new house in Trikad center. Leno was stunned to see the access of the new house.

“The spruce housing complex is one of our best houses. You can have it.” Leno gaped and did not know what to say.  “I.. I don't know if this is the right gift.,” stutters Leno.

“Oh, no. This has not been the right gift,” Neena said with a smile. Everyone was silent as Neena spoke. Leno just realized this woman is very graceful and authoritative.

“Tell me, son, what are your ideals?” ask Neena gently.

Leno's brain stopped working for a while. He now. doesn't know. “I... don't know yet.”

“You're class 8, right? Final level FIGHTR?”

              “Iya, Neena.”

“Then I will be very happy if you want to join the Moonasera Sito student in Geduna.”

Leno's heart stopped beating suddenly. Whahuh?

“You were given the honor to continue your studies after graduating next year,”

              “Being a Mandala.”

Joke nudged Leno's shoulder on purpose. He smiles. Maha nodded in agreement. Profs. Ochel, Mn. Sito, and Joke's friends smiled and nodded, except for the bald woman. It just

nod with a stiff.

A sense of panic and anxiety approached Leno's mind. What about his dream of exploring out of town? What about his plan to learn to survive shark attacks in the ocean? How

with his desire not to settle here, in Trikad, his own city?

He doesn't know what to answer.

              He doesn't know how to.

              Can he just go home?
