Prologues
The great storm had destroyed the earth and the entire civilization above it. Materials and the results of scientific trials scattered everywhere, many of which emit radiation to the inhabitants of the earth. Those who survived, managed to hide, and re-establish a new civilization.
Trikad became the initiator of the establishment of a new city and distributed the resources they have to all residents on the island they inhabit. The Trikad has their favorite warriors: Mandalas, knights and human protectors from Lentipede, shadow creatures of the future evolution of viruses and parasites.
Gradually, human life returned to its original state. Four other cities stood up and formed a cooperation agreement to protect each other. The city center was built. Office buildings, housing, schools, playgrounds, established within each city. People go back to work, study, and
doing business in his home; have not dared to explore more widely.
When man gets his role again, the classic problems of human civilization resurface.
“Lentipede spotted at border, Neena. Trickad must be secured.”
Commander Ri spoke from across the large glass table in the room. The first summer day, sunlight enters from 7 large oval-shaped windows long layered with ultraviolet wave-absorbing glass. The room was fifteen by ten square meters, painted bone white on its walls and crammed with Neena paintings from the first generation of Trikad. There is a large glass table in the middle of the room, 14 chairs circling the table and there are only 2 empty seats left.
A young woman, with a face in her 30s, wore a gray robe of satin material along her ankle. His reddish-brown hair was curled upwards and partly covered in a small hat matching his robe. One of his hands played a small remote, the other hand was knocked on the table as if counting. Her face was not very pretty, yet very graceful and dignified.
“This has been the 3rd time in half a year.”
The woman replied as she turned her face to one of the windows, as if she was glaring out. Ten other people were busy opening what looked like a laptop, but had no buttons. There are only numbers and moving points.
“It looks like they made some kind of colony. There are a lot of Lentipede swarming on the south side, coastal areas. Others still scattered throughout the city.”
A stocky young man reported the results of his work to the middle of the meeting. He made an interesting move with his hands. The movement gave rise to a hologram of black dots floating on a glass table.
Everyone focused on the map of their country. The young woman pressed the button
in the remote and enlarge the picture of the black dot into hundreds of lizards, snakes, bats, and other black animals that shroud a point. Some people shuddered at the sight.
“Neena, this has never happened. Look, they can think! Like he was strategizing to attack!”
Commander Ri stood up while pointing at the hologram which then became faint due to being hit by the Commander's arm.
“With all due respect, Neena, they are nothing but animals left over by evolution hundreds of years ago. They are dangerous because they are sick. They have no sense, so it is impossible.”.
“Can't be what?!” spray Commander Ri.
Hos' words were cut off by Commander Ri's call. Hos stop for a second. He styled his hair that drizzled nervously, and tried to master himself again.
“There is no way they have enough brain capacity to challenge us to war, Commander.”
A loud bang sounded as Commander Ri thrust his hand onto the table. All gasped, except for the woman sitting on the opposite side of the Commander's desk.
“You can see for yourself, Hos. You're not a fool. They huddle, work together, strategize, to attack Trikad. Sooner or later, we'll be overrun by them”
“Enough.”
The woman got up from her chair. His satin robe opened slightly and featured a long white blouse on the back. He looked at the two empty seats in the room.
“We haven't heard any information from them. They should have arrived.”
He glanced towards his right hand. There is another hologram that shows the number 10.25, the time at that time. They are usually never late. As a woman, she became very worried. However, the situation is already quite complicated. All who are wise enough must be able to master themselves.
exclaim that woman.
Commander Ri looks agitated. He turned his chair impatiently. The hos looks even more uncomfortable. He gulped several times and accidentally touched his hair back.
Ten other people who opened the laptop stopped working. They are waiting for anyone to continue this meeting.
“But, I admit it's a tough situation, Neena. Freo-Freo in other cities also seems to have similar concerns. Maybe it's better we also chat with them,” Hos finally re-opens. He looked at Neena and the animals in the hologram alternately.
“Not before I hear reports from all our people first.”
Commander Ri looked still upset, but he said nothing. He saw a black hologram
it was with angry eyes.
“Should I contact them again, Neena? It's been more than half an hour from the meeting schedule.” One of the employees holding a laptop volunteered. Neena turned to him and nodded.
“Ya, try contacting them again.”
Then they fell silent. The only thing moving was a black hologram of animals
transparent it. A pretty disgusting sight for those who hate wild animals. Hos seemed to have gotten fed up with the hologram and elbowed the stocky to immediately turn it off. Just when the hologram was turned off, the door of the room opened.
“Greetings, Neena. Please forgive our delay. However, only me and Kiara can appear in
here.”
A young man dressed in all white entered the room firmly. She wears
sleeveless jacket piece, no underwear. White pants along ¾ leg torn on the side of the left knee. The red color of blood adorned the torn part. The shoes are still intact, but look very dirty with a variety of dark color stains. A very large long-barreled rifle was strapped to his back. His left hand was wearing a tattered glove, revealing half of his dirty finger.
Everyone, other than Neena, stood up and was still dumbfounded by the man's appearance. Partially
another looked out the door, looking around for another figure who would probably be as severe as his comrade's appearance.
“Neena.”
The man walked over to Neena. He knelt with 2 feet. His eyes were still staring at the woman's eyes. He raised both his hands and placed them on his chest, his hands held together on the palm like an apology gesture. While still maintaining eye contact, he continued.
“A Mandala has died.”
There was a noise in the room. Commander Ri ran towards the man. Hos pulled the Commander's body which looked like it was going to grip the Man. Neena did not give any expression. Slowly he got up from his chair.
“Collect,” said sharply.
“Gather all Mandalas in this city.” He looked straight ahead.
“Hos, install Alert II sign throughout the city.”
Hos nodded and called out orders to some of his employees. The white-robed man stood up and faced Commander Ri who was sitting quietly on the chair. His face was very red and tears came out quite profusely. He looked very broken, more broken than this man.
“Ri, I'm sorry. He sacrificed himself when the creature attacked us.”
“Sorry I couldn't save your daughter.”
In the distance, various shadow creatures slowly crept throughout the city. School, residential, housing,
offices, shops, and places where humans live have been filled by them. A woman in white ran into the house, trying to find her two children. For the safety of all.
