The Last Year of FIGHTER

ErFu's dormitory looked tenuous this morning. Sunlight that is hot enough indicates this is already at least 08.00 am, 1 hour after the first lesson bell rang. Of course, the dormitory seemed tenuous because only Leno (read: Lino) was still walking in the dorm corridor, carrying a small bag containing a pen and 2 empty notebooks while eating his apples casually.

Ah, of course I am late again, Leno said inwardly.

Instead of running towards the classroom, Leno turned her feet to the still-deserted cafeteria. Ms. Denia hasn't come yet, probably still cooking for her own child at home. There were no other living creatures visible to Leno. He finished the apple while occasionally touching his bracelet which automatically displays the time at that time. Fifteen minutes, the first lesson is over. He still had 10 minutes to play the game and 5 minutes to hide behind the door, waiting for the first teacher to come out and sneak into the classroom.

The door of his class opened, an old man in his 50s walked out of the classroom and walked in the opposite direction from where Leno was. Quickly, like a professional spy, Leno managed to get into the classroom, take the back seat, and sit on top of Mia's bag which was deliberately special left for her.

“Good morning, Princess sleeping,” greet Mia casually while opening Geometry book. The table looks full of 2 thick books, 1 notebook, and several pens and colorful highlighter. “I don't think you'll show up until the last lesson.”

Leno shrugged both of his shoulders. “Ide interesting. Maybe I'll try tomorrow,” Leno replied. He pulled Mia's bag from under her ass. “There are many, you know. You know I must be late.”

Mia did not divert her thoughts from her book. “Oh, that's right. Why can't I expect it huh?” ask Mia meledek. “Do not say thank you again for your transparency on the first day of school next year.”

Leno frowned slightly, it seemed like Mia had forgotten that this was their last year in elementary school. Year

ahead of course he will not be late for school because he will not even go to school anymore.

“You don't need to leave any more benches, Mi. Next year you'll focus on your lectures in the best class in Geduna, while I travel the world aboard the bootlegged ship I bought after graduation

later.”

Mia looked over in surprise. He put his stability on top of a book that is now like a rainbow painting. She pulled her hair behind her shoulders.

“You're right. Oh my God, it's the last year! We will graduate this year,” said Mia with sumringah. Yes, it seems like he just realized the fact that this is their last year of school, as well as the last year they sit together in class.

“Hopefully this year feels fast and know-know I wake up tomorrow it's graduation day.”

Leno was already preparing to install the most comfortable position to sleep on the table. When she wanted to lay her head down, Mia shook Leno's shoulder.

“Lee, who was serious?” ask Mia.

“Which one?” Leno replied while yawning. It seemed like the 5 homework during the holidays he managed to speed up overnight, completely draining his energy to study this morning.

“That was!” Mia shook Leno's shoulder harder.

“Uh, yes seriously.” Leno sat up straight. Tie his hair loose, it looks like it will come off. But he did not attempt to correct his current hairdo as messy as a dry mop.

“You...,” Leno appoints Mia. “will be a successful Mandala candidate educated by the best Moonasera in the city. As for me, of course I will pull out of this place and do whatever I want. Looks like the butut ship just gave me a pretty good idea. Maybe I'll really..”

Mia flicked Leno's forehead. His face was now flushed red and He looked at Leno seriously. “You don't talk like that.”

Leno found out Mia was telling him seriously. He fixed his hair. “Why? You don't want to be Mandala?”

“Not that, stupid.” Mia was still staring at Leno.

“You really want to go? Not willing to settle down and work here?”

Leno swallowed his saliva. Of course he wants to go! For 8 years he had been confined in the city of Trikad. He can only go out of town during the non-hot season which is quite torturous due to the extreme weather outside the house. Leno hasn't even come home in the last 2 years to see his family. He wanted to leave, of course he wanted to.However, it seems that Mia has not been able to talk about this answer.

              “I'll think about it.”

Leno opened the pigtail back. He cupped his arms on the table and buried his head into the folds of his hands. His hair was straight as long as his waist was stretched to cover

her face.

When Leno closed his eyes and thought about it, his geometry teacher came in and began the lesson.

***

This is the first day of school. The summer just happened 4 days ago. Although Leno lives in the equator, the Earth's weather has become increasingly uncertain over the past few decades. The school town, Trikad, knows only summer and non-hot seasons, which can take the form of months of relentless rain, weeks of snowfall, and weeks of snowfall, or the transition of the two that takes place in the same period as summer. The academic calendar, especially the primary school calendar, does deliberately put summer as the best time to study. Usually everyone's mood improves so that lessons can be absorbed more effectively. In addition, the obligation to attend school in musimpanas makes students not dare to leave Trikad because of the punishment for those who skip lessons and get caught.

Leno was in 8th grade, the final grade before he graduated from elementary school. The trick is usually taking - or buying - children ages 10-12 to school in the city. There are some families who are good enough economically that they deliberately send their children to FIGHTR. There are also families that are quite poor but have one or two children who are usually paid by Trikad to give permission

giving up their children to school in the city, for a better future, he said.

Leno sighed. It was a pretty long first day. Everything is just like any other school day. Uninspiring. All of those lessons seem to be of no importance at all to be learned in life. Dynamics, momentum, social laws, algebra, astronomy, anything can keep Leno alive when he's trapped in the ocean and eaten by sharks?

Who said it couldn't happen. All things are clearly possible, before they happen or things

the opposite is happening.

Leno felt. hollow. He has no purpose here. What is he really doing? Filling his brain with a formula to run the wheels of social life?

Hearing the word of the community alone Leno is nauseous.

He knows this is not right. He knew it shouldn't be like this what he did.

The last lesson is over. Leno did not remember what his teacher was talking about in these 1 hour. He opened his bag, put in a notebook that he did not touch at all, then waited for Mia to finish her books.

“Today Mr. Gana wants us to exercise physically,” said Mia. His books are neatly arranged in his bag. “At Stadium.”

Leno raised his forehead, “Wah, must be tired once.”

Mia laughs. “What do you expect from sport? If you are not tired, very tired.”

Leno smiled wryly. “So, no sparring today? I want to beat you.”

The two of them came out of the classroom which was still crowded with babbles and gossip from their friends. Leno and Mia should head for the training ground of Pang-kun, the martial art that has been

they've been in class since 2.

Mr. Gana was not present when Leno and Mia stepped on their rubber boots inside the stadium. Some of their underclassmen were already lined up amidst the grass, waiting for their coach as well. No

too many were present today, there were only 10 disciples including the two of them.  Then, in the distance, a loud voice called out to them.

              “Miaaaaa!!! Lennon!!! Hiii!!!”

Amber waved from the running track on the outside of the stadium. He and his twin brother, Sept, wore athletic uniforms. It doesn't seem like it's just the Pang-kun kids training in the stadium

to day.

Mia waved her hand towards Amber. Leno smiled at the two of them, in fact he wasn't sure they saw him smiling or not. Mia drags Leno to meet Amber and Sept.

              “Training alone?” ask Mia.

Amber nodded with excitement. Amber is a girl with shoulder-length wavy hair and brilliant round eyes. He always looks cheerful wherever and whenever he is, except

when Jaffray's gang in class is working on him. While Sept is the Amber version of a man who is very similar to the structure of his face. Sept's hair was cut short as was the provision of a male haircut in FIGHTR.

They start the warm-up before starting a small run. Amber and Sept are one of the best athletic athletes that FIGHTER has.

“You are everywhere both mulu. Long ago counted twins too,” said Sept. Mia laughed hearing that, She held onto Leno's arm even tighter.

“Ah, jealous aja, Sept,” says Amber. “Still love yes same Leno?” ask Amber with a prank.

One generation they know that Sept never liked Leno when class 4. Leno is a cute and pretty boy for a 14-year-old boy size. Sept once sent a heart-shape hologram to Leno who was caught off guard by an art teacher in class. Sept was asked to confess his actions and that was the beginning of the fun years for Amber, Mia, and other friends to get a taste of Sept.

Now Sept is getting awkward. He opened the bottle and took a few sips. Mia and Amber laughed loudly. Leno chuckled as it felt bad to be the only one who

didn't do anything.

Gana sir went into the middle of the stadium. Leno and Mia ran towards where the other friends had gathered. After the opening and brief pleasantries, Mr. Gana picked up the panel beams that were inside a small box under a lamp planted on the edge of a running track. He pushed one of the buttons. The ground in the middle of the stadium started to move. The marble white colored walls came out from within the ground, continuously rising upwards and fused together

in the middle, trap those in the middle of the stadium into a giant white ball with grass floors. The room cooler is turned on.

              They started training this afternoon.

“Lined according to each level! Your highest variety attraction according aba-abaku.”

Mia took out 2 one-meter-high wooden sticks and threw them at Leno. “I know you miss this stick.”

Leno grunts, “After all these physical exercises, it turns out we have to memorize the variety as well.”

Leno fixed the shirt, they're already barefoot. The floor with thick elastic rubber was raised to the middle of their training arena. No one carries an exercise uniform because they think today is just physical exercise. For that reason, Mr. Gana punished them to repeat the variety tested for rate increases in the middle of the field.

              “Bet ready!”

Leno and the other disciples formed a parallel row. They raised the wooden stick 10cm above the ground exactly in the middle of the body axis. Aba-aba starts.

Leno waved the wand to his lower left side, then he jumped. Both of his hands raised the stick above his head. They puncture, kick, slash, rotate the body, and move according to each variety. All concentrated on fighting the enemy that only appeared in their own minds.

Sprucing up the variety with this wooden stick always calms Leno's mind. There was something very familiar that was in his memory that always triggered every Leno raised a stick in the air. But as hard as he remembered, Leno never knew why he liked this martial art so much.

It was late afternoon, Mr. Gana finished their training today. He lowered the white wall that shut them down. Leno sees Sept and Amber resting on the stadium steps.

“Mia!” mr. Gana's voice called Mia. Leno looked over. Mia put on her shoes, “Shortly,” Mia told Leno.

Leno was wearing his shoes too. He saw Mia talking to Mr. Gana at the end of the rubber floor. Maybe the special scholarship offer for high-achieving athletes is still valid. Leno was not surprised that Mia was the most likely candidate to receive it.

“Lee, come!” call Amber from a distance. Leno stepped her foot towards the two of them.

The two of them were drinking milk box pictured with pandas, the milk of toddlers that Leno often saw in the supermarket when he went to the city center.

              “Mana Mia?” ask Amber.

Leno sat down next to Amber. “Taken date with Gana.”

Amber and Sept laughed. “Good taste,” say Amber. He took out another milk box with a picture of koala, a berry taste.

“You want?” tanya Amber offers. Leno observed the extremely adorable milk for a while. Sept laughed again, “If you don't want gapapa, Lee. Indeed sometimes Amber embarrassing.”

Leno shook his head and took the milk with a smile. “That's important it feels.”

“Well! That's it!” amber was happy. They fell silent as they gulped down each box's milk.

The summer breeze was nice this afternoon. Although the temperature was a bit stinging but the wind that passed quite a lot and made Leno carried away.

Mia was running towards them from a distance. He approached all three of them. “Amber, Sept, Mr. Gana would like to talk to you,” Mia said. Amber and Sept jumped off the steps. “Oke.”

They were staring at Leno, “For a while yes, Lee.”

Leno nodded. If Amber and Sept are called, it is likely because of their scholarship.

Leno sat there alone. He looked to the right, left, and back. He was on the 5th step from under his school's sports stadium. The stadium is quite spacious, can be used for football, converted into a closed hall, and became a swimming pool when the green field was opened. It's a pretty modern stadium because it can be widened and shrunk as needed. The pool will also fill automatically when the green grass is folded and shifted by the iron joints that hold it. The water in the pool can also freeze and become a ski area. Paradise for sportsmen.

drain the milk and start climbing up to the steps of the higher stairs.

Leno sits on the top steps of the stadium. His friends look so small down there. He sat for a while shaking his legs. Leno stood up and approached the border of the stadium facing outwards.

The stadium is open at the top. Leno's head was directly in contact with the wind that blew louder than the wind on the steps of the 5th step earlier. The air here is still hot, but not painful.

Leno stood there, staring at the beautiful view of the school. He could see the whole school from this. His school, FIGHTR, is extensive. At least 10 hectares of land is still included in the school. All the buildings are dominated by the color of brown trees and gray. A combination that corresponds to the characteristics of Trikad that includes nature and technology. The Sukradji Building for grades 1-3 was merged in the eastern area of the school. From here looks a big Van car that has a lot of books and tables around it, for children to read. Amanda building for class 4-6 in the north, this time dominated by green because there are so many plants there. Starting in 5th grade, genetic experiments have been taught on plants and animals so that animal and plant shelter centers are built near the school building. From up here it looks like a big green greenhouse. Grade 4-6 children are busy enough with their tasks so do not have as much time to read other books as grade 1-3 children. To the west, there is a building

Rajasa for the very old 7-8th grade. Like a haunted castle in an age when humans still believed in witches. The building was dark brown and had a few trees. Outside there are bushes surrounding a large statue engraved with the Trikad logo. Their canteen is not visible here because it juts into the corner of the building.

All buildings have 3 levels with the same architecture. Rectangular shaped with a straw hat-like roof decoration and circular carvings on to the four ends, the older brown color. It is also beautiful when viewed from above. Leno seemed to have seen such a roof shape in history lessons, but he always didn't get up when class started so he didn't remember what the shape was.

In the middle of the school building, a short building was built. Actually the building consists of four small buildings under it, but all are on one roof. The same roof shape as a classroom building. The roof was so wide that from the top there was nothing to see but the roof was surrounded by large trees and 4 bicycle stops on 4 sides of the building. That's their dorm, erFu. Although Leno knew a lot of children were playing in the dorm garden this afternoon, everything was blocked by the very wide roof and the trees. Across erFu there is another building with exactly the same architecture, it is enDu, the dormitory of the teachers. They do not want to be combined with student dormitories because, well, it will certainly be noisy and interfere with the mental health of the teachers if they have to meet students for 24 hours.

All roads in Trikad have electromagnetic currents coming from the city center. Public transportation in the school is a slow tram that circles every 10 minutes. In the midst of the slow pace of the tram, many children bought their own electric bikes and parked at the boarding stop. Or they simply walk leisurely while enjoying the view. Or running. If it's late, like Leno everyday.

The stadium is connected to the main street, where the tram in and out of the school and the city. The main street is also the only entrance and exit for school residents. On the left side not visible to Leno here, there is a large gate as high as half this stadium made of metal with various sensors and lasers at the top. The tram that comes in and out has its own small door guarded by military soldiers. Large gates are rarely opened unless there is a visit from the center or a Trikad anniversary celebration.

Leno's pensive up there. He has been in this school for 7 years, but there is still a lot he does not know. Leno's level of emergence in the classroom seems to support the statement he made. But, Leno does not have the intention to learn more here. He just wants to.go. Hopefully that's what will happen after this.

***

The first weekend arrives. After working on all the PR, Leno takes a moment of relaxation. Zorgoth, Leno's illegal pet dog, was released this morning. Leno won't risk his snacks anymore. He decides to keep the Zorgoth long-distance. He would still take her for a walk in the morning and evening, feed her 3x a day, bathe her once every 1 week, but not let her enter quietly and sleep in her room again. Hope the dog understands they can't stay together!

Leno was bored. He wondered what he should do. He had taken a shower, had eaten, and,

already working on PR, already tidying up the closet, sweeping the room, and already...

Leno remembers she hasn't contacted Mia. Maybe the kid is studying, or coming home to his parents' house in town. Should I just ask?

Leno's dX85 bracelet, which is also a combination of mobile phones, laptops, scanners, credit cards, SIMs, and resident cards, rings calling Mia. However, not answered. What man doesn't answer his best friend's phone if he's not sleeping, dead, or doing something important. Leno guessed Mia was in the third condition, which in this case is learning. For the final exam. Which is one year

any more.

              Sound very “Mia”.

Be Leno yourself in the room. Staring at the ceiling of his favorite band, SevenG. The hologram showcases their concert 3 years ago in the city center. Leno, Mia, Niken, and the twins watched the concert on exam week. A tremendous struggle to separate Mia and her book. If not for Leno who had been whining since 3 months before the concert, they did not go there. Leno smiled to himself remembering that night.

Leno just realized his room paint is already very shabby. Light purple color has faded on various sides of the wall. He does not like to decorate his room. It wasn't his room, it was only loaned out during school. The walls are not attached to anything, just a regular projector that displays the time and schedule of lessons and other memos in turn. There is no special furniture other than automatic clothes cabinets, which can wash to fold their own clothes, tables as well as bookshelves as well as folding beds, which can be, and an air chair that Leno bought himself used his savings on his 17th birthday last year. Very standard for a teenager's room.

He should have shared with 2 other girls, but since the last 2 years they have gone. Fina, her former roommate, did not want to continue school because of family issues. Two months later, another roommate, Kane, migrated to another city and moved to school in Mikrad. Leno was left alone in his room.

Leno twirled his bracelet and weighed for a moment. Leno remembered something. He woke up and straightened his long, long hair with his bare hands. After pulling it high. She stripped off her clothes and wore her favorite shabby denim skirt. Leno took the brown rubber shoes and wore them to the city center.

Leno was already sitting on the tram bench and had already passed the BATTLER gate. The tram Leno rode through the tree-lined streets leading to the city center. Leno sat on the left window at bench 15, the middle bench. The tram that passed in this city was painted uniform pink with the inscription “TRIKAD IN KOT” light blue on the tram body. Occasionally the tram window changes color to form a 7-F FIGHTER-CENTER number that renders the tram majors and numbers. These trams seem to

it does not have any glass, but it actually has an electromagnetic field strong enough to protect passengers from the outside environment, especially when the tram crosses the school and its tree-lined streets. Lost tram seats arise from the wall and the floor adapts to the needs of passengers boarding. It was currently not too crowded, so Leno could sit by himself by the window.

At the back, Leno heard the noisy sounds of children, apparently 4-5 grade children who laughed while occasionally judging the tram system. They giggled while saying “I need a.” seat and got up quickly after the seat appeared. The tram seats were gone according to their wishes.

This road area is still beautiful. Because the speed of the tram is quite slow, along the way, Leno can still see many dragonflies, bees, and butterflies flying especially when there is a swarm of flowers. In the trees are also many animals that jump and swing, maybe a monkey or maybe a squirrel. As Leno had seen some time ago while shopping to the center with Mia, Jaffray, and other friends.

The central gate was already visible from the front window of the tram. The gate was rectangular in shape with its highest end forming a bullet. Everything looks shiny metal. There are 2 Reppe observation posts on the right and left side of the gate leaf. At the top of the bullet-like gate, it was filled with wire and various red, green, and blue laser lights, so from a distance the whole gate was similar to a grey kribo haired old granny with colorful hairpins.

The tram enters the smaller door on the left side of the gate.  The gate sensor reads the barcode of the tram plate and lets it into the city center.

Unlike the tree road earlier, the city center has many tall buildings and large billboards cover the building. Most buildings look transparent because they are covered in electromagnetic fields like tram windows. People dressed up and passed by, some on foot, some on their flying pedestals, some on electric bikes. Several trams with different majors passed by on the right side of Leno's tram. All are pink with the same bright blue writing. Only their occasional windows turned into numbers and tram majors respectively.

Today is quite crowded, shops hold discounts of up to 70% to celebrate the summer. Many people queue in front of restaurants, clothing capsule stores, and electronic homes. From a distance, a large hologram almost 100 m high was seen, hovering in front of the Trikad monument. The hologram is lost every 5 minutes and is shaped as per the announcement to be made. Currently the hologram is embossed and shaped in the posture of Neena Trikad with her majesty velvet dress and white hair curled inside the tiara. Neena's hologram smiled and observed its inhabitants in all directions like a mother looking after her child. Sound soft sound from hologram: “Welcome to Trikad, City of the future. Happy work and enjoy summer.”

Behind the hologram stands the 5-man giant Trikad monument, 3 men and 2 women and a large blue white flag hovering above them. One woman was wearing the exact Neena hologram in the middle. One male and 1 female dressed in white undressed suits with a large crescent moon logo on the left side, wearing white denim pants with many pockets. The two flanked Neena in the middle while holding a long spear and a bone-white sword in both hands. One man on the outermost right side wore a long grey suit se-eye foot with large round anti-laser glasses covering his eyes and nose with pliable silvery gloves on both hands. One man on the outer left side wore a Trikad military warrior uniform with a pointed triangular shaped war cap on the front, a dark brown forward suit, black boots, and a black boot, and big radiator guns on his hands and feet. The five statues drift 1 meter high from the street and the inscription “TRIKAD IS HOME KITA” walk around the foot of the monument.

Leno tram to the final stop. Leno passed his bracelet to the scanner at the exit and jumped into the city streets. People passed around Leno. The residents of the center usually wore a hologram of beauty on their faces so that they looked more attractive. But Leno so can't see where the real faces of these people are. Maybe they don't want to show it off, or maybe they're embarrassed, or maybe they're because someone else did it, everybody feels they have to.

Leno never knew the real reason. Now she's the slumsiest girl here. He hasn't washed his face. His shirt with a picture of a faded red starfish combined with a denim skirt that he has been wearing for 7 years. Maybe Leno's pride rubber shoes can give a little bright color to its overall appearance.

The news holograms that appeared along the street were displaying a debate event that was quite splashy. Two dapper-looking old men in flickering coats were chatting about a topic Leno often heard: a conspiracy emerges as a rebel movement in Trikad that wants to take power across the island. Leno doesn't really understand the politics of the city. All just contain

people who speak loudly without listening.

Leno rounded the main road and turned left on 56th. Here are many home knick-knacks shops and beautiful walls decorated with real paint. The work of artists since time immemorial is still on these walls. Several paintings depict the conditions of the year the painting was made so that images of riots, demonstrations, floods, and other disasters can be found on a portion of the street wall. However, the rest is in the form of abstract paintings of extant animals such as forest lions, elephants, sea sharks, and so on and also extinct animals. Leno did not know the names of the beautiful wide-winged birds and the various small insects, but they clearly no longer existed.

Leno entered one of the “Giona Pernak-Pernik and Rumah” Decorations stores and approached a woman in her 40s who was blaring behind a desk. “Good afternoon, Beautiful mother,” greet Leno.

Ona glanced at Leno and laughed. He put the beads down and came out of the table. “How are you, Lenolea darling?” she said while hugging Leno like her own child. Ona was wearing a purple dress

young long, home-grown shoes, and purple bandanas match her dress. If only she wore a hologram of her beauty, Giona would look 20 years younger.

“Good, Na. I'm going to the center and want to stop by for a while,” said Leno. They then sat at the cafe table inside the shop. This afternoon there are not many visitors, only 2-3 young women with their children who are looking for lampshades, house bells, or versatile beaded containers. Ona has 2 shopkeepers who help her serve customers, 2 friendly women who look a few years older than Leno just plain without a hologram of beauty. Leno doesn't remember the name

the two of them, and yet it seems like they live around here with Ona.

Amidst the glitter of the beaded goods, Leno ate pastries and sweet bamboo extracts.

“How is your school?” ask the woman softly. “Good. Just one more year,” Leno said. He swung his legs in his chair while chewing. “Your aunt said you didn't come home last holiday? Where the hell was it?”

Leno already knew Ona would ask that. He also knew Ona would say that his mother would

I miss him if he doesn't come home. “Go, Na. Ke Frigan with Bu Denia and her son.” Leno replied. He did spend the last school holiday by relaxing in the Jellyfish Lake which almost froze. Bu Denia has several brothers who manage the tourist spot. They were all happy to tell the story, Leno even knew what the name of the first jellyfish that was kept by the grandmother of his great-aunt uncle Bu Denia. Gossip is not important enough interesting.

“Oh, yes? Wow very exciting,” he said smiling. “But surely your family misses you not coming home. When was the last time you were home?”

Leno hasn't been home since last year. Other than having nothing to do, it was sad to see Gof, his sick sister, lying in his room all day. While the aunt stayed silent all day while cooking, or meronce, or doing something that Leno could not help. His father came home late, talked a little and went to bed. Sometimes the smell of alcohol gets out of the room.

It's not that Leno doesn't love them, it's just that he never feels at home. He felt that he did not have a home that calmed his mind. A house is just a building filled with people who are bound by blood with it. Somehow, he never felt it was anything special.

He only realized that in recent years, so he did not have the intention to quickly return home during school holidays. Leno's communication with his family is only limited to a telephone routine once every 1 month to report their money from Trikad has been received and his father has sent some to Leno's savings. Everything repeated over and over again for the past few months.

“Leno?” ask Ona again. Leno remained silent for a long time. “Ya, it's been a long time Ona. But I called them from here,” Leno replied as she sipped her drink. “Maybe you should go there more often, Son,” Ona said.

Leno smiled and put the glass back. “Leno, you should see this.” Ona entered his room and returned with a pot of plants submerged in water. “Someone shared it yesterday afternoon.”

Leno had never seen the plant and had no knowledge of what the water-soaked weaving could do. “Who gave it?”

Ona shrugged her shoulders. “There are a bunch of people from outside Trikad, like a tourist maybe. They distributed it to all the people in the area. They say this plant can be used to grow rice and potatoes.”

Leno shook his head, “Paddy and potatoes don't grow like that, Na. They need to be tilled in soil with good fertility. Therefore we always import food from Mikrad. Their land

always fertile.”

“My customers managed to grow their own potatoes. I was even given a few grains, similar to a potato from Mikrad,” Ona said excitedly.

Leno knew Ona would not give up on convincing him of something new, as other parents do. He smiled, “Well, good then. We can plant it ourselves. No need to import anymore.”

Leno sipped his drink again. They fell silent again, observing the two female workers Ona was serving customers. One of the customers was bidding on a lamp decoration with seashells

beautiful at a very cheap price. I also saw their discussion.

“Leno, darling,” call Ona. “If you get bored in the dorm, stay here. Yeah even if our night lights and alarms sound shitty. Woke us up in the middle of the night, but it seemed

everything's not bad. I'd be happy if you were here.”

Leno smiled hearing that. Of course he can not, although sometimes want to also be able to skip a moment. “I can't get out of dorm, Na. And better call the electrician for that alarm.”

“It looks like this is a problem in that circuit box. I've been wanting to fix it myself for a long time. You remember I used to learn a little bit about electronics. Or maybe I'll ask Dina to fix it. He also studied electronics.”

“I don't think that's a good idea, Na. Later you will even be prosecuted for damaging public facilities.” replied

Lenos.

Leno was getting ready to leave, there was still one more place he wanted to visit. “Ona, thanks for the drinks and the cake. You've always been good, to me”. Leno clasped Ona's hand as she endured it. “Come more often, darling. And don't say that, we know that I love you so much,” Ona said smilingly.

Leno walked out of the store and down a narrower street. He walked into a long alley between the two ancient painting shops and walked to the end. The sky had started to change color, Leno rushed out of the place.

The end of this alley ends on a small uphill trail, lined with asphalt alone without electromagnetic fields. Bicycles or flying pedestals cannot float through this road. On the left-right of the path has begun to appear trees that are getting bigger and bigger. Then the path became thinner and disappeared into the ground.

Ten meters in front of him was a high metal wall, as high as the central entrance gate. But, Leno didn't go to break that wall. He turned right and looked for a seaweed tree that grew so high, becoming a place for Leno to relax. He climbed the tree and sat on a large branch parallel to the top of the metal wall. Behind the iron walls of Trikad, there is a lighthouse and a building that is quite large but not maintained. Leno once asked Mia a few years ago about waking up what was under the lighthouse's feet. Mia said she had read about it in a short article that it was an old LTK laboratory that was not in use. They already have a more sophisticated lab now, on the east side of Trikad.

Leno sat leaning against the tree branch. The orange sunset sky with the red tinge of the sunset is the perfect sight. The sun slowly descended behind Trikad's floating headquarters, like it was sinking into an ocean. The light was still partially left behind so that the black sky still had a reddish tinge.

Along with the sinking of the sun, the city lights turned on alternately. Starting from the headquarters, tram stops, Trikad monuments, buildings and shops, to the main gate and the entire border wall.

He stared at Trikad, his perfect city. Headquarters are floating in the middle of the city. A blue white flag fluttered around the office occupied by the Trikad higher-ups. Underneath Leno can see the Trikad monument and the missing Neena hologram embossed in the middle of the city. The city's bright LED lights color the Trikad night sky which is now filled with August's constellations. Leno could not see the people passing by, or the tram, or the little dragonfly that escaped from the central gate when it opened. But he was sure they were all there. Those people, life in this city, move all the time. Moving for a reason. All safe

controllable. No enemy attack or shadow creature Lentipede threatens Trikad and humanity as a whole. Maybe they're still out there, but even if they're still around, they don't interfere with human activities tonight, in this town.

Leno asked himself, Will he ever be a part of them? Study in the academy, graduate work, and to the death live here? Never come out of fear of things he never knew?

Different from Mia the 1st rank, Leno was never a desire to learn in school. His school taught the basic things to live in the city: technology, economics, beauty, math, and so on. There is little talk about the outside world. Perhaps they think it is not important to be taught to children. Or maybe because it's too dangerous. But his friends no one asked about this other than Leno. Leno asked inside his own head.

Some of her friends, like Mia, are obsessed with becoming Mandala, a human guard and cool fighter who secures the city territory from Lentipede. There are also those who want to be observers Reppe, aka the eagle eye who oversees crime and violations of any rules that occur in the city. Some Reppe observers were armed with weapons that allowed them to torture the lawbreaker in undesirable ways. Some of his friends wanted to enlist in the military who would become soldiers and maintain security inside and outside the city. Some want to devote their lives researching things they love such as extraterrestrial cosmic particles, electricity and technological development techniques, or something very primitive like rare animals and plants. All these ideals have a high enough payment. The point is they can all live more than a year if only using 2 months of their salary.

Of course, like everything that happens in this universe, not all desires can be achieved for everyone. Some of those who dreamed of being Reppe observers, in the end only became sorgh employees in the complaint data collection office who actually did not complain much, considering

how perfect Trikad is as a human habitation today.

However, all of those jobs were centered only in the city, within the Trikad itself. They wake up, eat, pee, go to work, play football, and lie in coffins inside this city. They do not have a necessity to go out and see something wider than what it seems everyday. They just do routine business as usual, as usual, not to be extraordinary.

Perhaps some of the Trikad's higher-ups, such as commanders and ranks of leaders, or even Neena, had more opportunities to interact with the world outside of Trikad. Maybe they have a lot of other state and diplomatic affairs that require them to go and return to Trikad.

But it was them. The great leader. A very high social entity for a child to take on the Trikad. In other words, it's a dream that Leno hopes to become one of them. And indeed Leno did not want to engage further with the people in the center there.

Leno dislikes those who deliberately take children to be gnawed at science like a cow and then cheque their dreams so that they can work under the control of the center, running the economy and the wheel of life, forcing them to accept fate, as the superior swings his legs on the chair, laughing at the many enslaved humans of his own system.

It was a very evil fantasy. It hurts to think about it. The head of this 18-year-old child, has not been able to contain such a heavy analysis of life.

However, at least now Leno has two things to say: He does not want to be a slave to this perfect city

and

he's going away.
