Secret Society

Maha put on her white robe and walked out of Mia's room. Kay told Maha that Prof. Said is heading to geduna. As soon as Maha came out of Gardnella, she saw Mn. Szito, Mn. Hiroya, and the other Geduna high councils in front of the boardroom were almost to be used by Maha. Some councilmen were seen chewing on cookies and lining up coffee in front of the meeting room. Looks like there's a board meeting this afternoon.

              Sito and several other councilors walked towards the elevator next to Gardnella's treatment room. They see Maha.

              “Good day, Moonasera,” greet Maha while saluting.

              “Siang, Moonasera,” replied several Mandalas that flashed in front of Maha. They smiled and saluted.

              Sito approached Maha. As the other councils passed beside them, Sito took Maha walking with him in the opposite direction.

              “What's new from the guard unit?” ask Sito.

              Supremely shook. “Not yet again.”

              “How are the members of other units? Do they rest enough?”

              Maha nodded slowly. “We haven't been exhausted for too long. Thank you for easing care today.”

              “Yes, I also thought of this. We better be fully prepared in the back. While finding out where this creature came from. We discussed this at the meeting. All assume this Lentipede is a more dangerous evolutionary product than ever.”

              Right after Sito left, Maha's bracelet shook. Kay called. ”Maha you're already in Geduna? I'm planning on using the meeting room at lt.-4. Are you there yet?”

              Maha glanced towards the elevator next to Gardnella. There, Sito and two other Mandalas are waiting for the elevator.

              “Kay, in lt. -5 there is a meeting room. Inside the Vibrio. Meet me there.”

              “Ooh, it's in the treatment room?” ask Kay to make sure.

              “Iya. Its alright. Joke will set it.”

              Take a long breath. May I be right, Maha. He downed his warm chocolate and took a round-trip step towards the freight elevator at the corner of 1’, on the left side of the boardroom. While walking, Maha sends a voice message to Joke.

              Elevators tend to be larger and slower. But this is not a rush hour for moving large items so only Maha uses that elevator. It went down one floor. As soon as Maha gets out of there, she looks for Kay and Joke.

              The two figures were standing in front of Vibrio. Calling them. Both of them waited for Maha to catch up with them there. When Maha reached the front of Vibrio's glass door, another voice called out

              “Maha,” call Frian.

              “Frian?” She looks a little surprised. Kay looked much more surprised than Maha. Joke looked at the three of them in confusion. “Is there a problem at the border?” ask Maha.

              “Why not ask Kay?” frian asked coldly. He folded both his hands on his chest. His expression was so stiff, waiting for Maha to answer his question.

     “I know something's weird here. What are you guys doing? You, Ayu, and Joke are keeping something from me,” Frian said.

              Joke murmured nervously, “A.I don't.”

              “This is easy to guess,” cut Frian. Maha and Kay looked at. “What happened? I know you like Kay, but there's another reason why you didn't tell me about things you knew.”

              Kay looked nervous. He bowed his head, looking at the floor of Geduna. Joke nodded hard. He remained in his place quietly. “I thought about the reason, there are many possibilities that you did not speak to the members of your own unit: first, you already do not believe in us.

              The meeting room in Vibrio is more properly called the bedroom and the escape room of students who served on that floor. There are not many Mandalas that actually use that space for meetings. But Maha always remembered the room every time she entered Vibrio, where she caught her friends who were deliberately sleeping while on duty.

              Now Maha is back to this place again. Joke was still busy typing a few things on her tablet, while Frian sat upright with a straight forward look through Maha. It's been 5 minutes since

Kay left, they were still waiting for the arrival of an important guest today.

              The door of the room opens. Profs. Said who was already in white robes entered the room, followed by Kay who was also wearing the same white robe. Stand up from his seat. He looked down saluting. “Professor Said.”

              “Maha!” exclaim Prof. Said when he saw Maha. He came to Maha and held both shoulders. “How can I forget to have a child like you?”

              Joke smiled as she greeted Rosi. Then Joke led Prof. Said headed to Leno's treatment room in room 02.

              The debate with his father last night turned out to make Leno still uncomfortable. His head was back in pain. before them. Then it happened.

              Rosi who was big enough to pull Kay and clasped her mouth with one hand. His left hand pulled what appeared to be a transparent gun from under his cloak. He pointed the tip of the gun right in front of Joke's forehead.

              Kay screamed in Rosi's hand.

              Profs. Said surprised. “Rossi! What are you doing!”

              Still holding Kay thrashing, Rosi pulled the tip of the cock of her gun. Joke did not move from where she was, still clashing with Rosi. “Joke, get out of the room.”

              Joke did not move. He was so alert, there were no signs of obedience.

              “Come out of there.”

              Seeing Joke's response that was not in accordance with her orders, Rosi instead pointed the tip of the gun at Kay's head. Joke looked very angry, but she didn't move. “I won't ask again,” Rosi's orders.

              Finally Joke came out of the room still maintaining her eye contact. Then very quickly, Rosi aimed her gun into the room. No gunshots were heard, but the three of them saw Prof. Said fell down in there.

              Kay is still trying to break away from Rosi's arm which is 2 times larger than her own. He nodded towards Frian. They have no other choice. Maha and Frian return to the meeting room, followed by Joke, and Kay who was held captive by Rosi. Meeting room door closed.

              Inside room 02, Leno repeatedly screamed in fear. He tried to call anyone but no one answered. The old professor fell before his eyes. Only an insulating glass separated Leno from the incident. He heard Joke screaming loudly and had seen a big handsome young man who was very creepy standing outside the door of the room. But he couldn't do anything now, The door was now closed, Leno heard the sound of iron clashing loudly when Joke closed it earlier.

              Leno was also confined within his isolation room. Separated from the Professor who was now lying uncomfortably on the sofa waiting room. I don't sleep, I'm dead…

              A few minutes later, all the lights and air conditioning went off. There was a click, like an open door. His room is completely dead. Leno lit the light from his bracelet. He saw Leno's isolation door open on its own. Now Leno has access to get out of his isolation room.

              He walked out and approached the old professor. Leno tried to wake her up.

              “Professor.”

              He shakes his shoulder a few times. There's no response. Leno was shaking all over. With a dim light that only came from his bracelet, he walked towards the door of the room.

              He tried to push it. Not open.

              Leno tries to break it, kick it, look for gaps that he can use to see where the key is. But the door had no door handles from the inside. Most likely he was trapped in this room.

              Leno's panic attack is back. His mind ran everywhere. His breath was racing fast.
