Chapters. 08 - Bows And Arrows

An arrow and a bow were drawn simultaneously. Just then, a Prince was staring towards his target point. He felt very confident in his arrow that was stiffening. And when the silence lasted for a while, the Prince immediately threw out his arrow and quickly, the arrow hit the farthest target point and made everyone there surprised.

”The seventh prince is indeed great!” exclaimed a young eunuch who stood behind the seventh prince named, Tao Sonyun.

”Huh! I'm great, right?!” said Tao Sonyun with a tone that was like he was proud of himself.

”Yes! Big brother is great!” exclaimed several other young princes who felt astonished by the appearance that he had just shown.

”Don't be happy first. You still can't beat me, sister Sonyun.” said the fourth prince named Xu Yingge while showing his cynical face in front of Tao Sonyun. He looked at her as if he was going to defeat her with a single strike.

Tao Sonyun clucked in annoyance and said in his mind, ”Cih! Irritating! Does he have to bother me every day?!” his mind while looking at him with annoyance.

Just as Xu Yingge was pulling her arrows and was about to take them off, a dart suddenly appeared behind her head. Instantly, Xu Yingge felt extremely shocked that the arrow had managed to scratch her face. He also fell silent while staring at an arrow that had managed to split the arrow belonging to Tao Sonyun.

”Whoever he is, that person must accept the consequences!” mumbled Xu Yingge who looked annoyed as she slammed her arrow bow onto the ground.

Tao Sonyun who saw it had held back his laughter because he could not imagine Xu Yingge's current face. He immediately distracted her and pretended not to know what was going on.

Feeling that he was humiliated, Xu Yingge immediately went towards the direction that the arrow had come from. And a few steps after, Fu Yiren appeared suddenly from behind the bushes and he immediately kowtowed at Xu Yingge's feet.

”Please, forgive me, Your Majesty!” said Fu Yiren who did not dare to show his face in front of the angry-looking Xu Yingge.

”So, just a lowly servant like you? Did you just try to kill me?” xu Yingge asked as she looked at him coldly.

It was hard to tell the truth that the one who did all this was Shu Qingzhi. But right now he has no other choice. Honestly or not, he would still die at the hands of Xu Yingge. A servant, too, must be responsible for the actions taken by his Master.

Xu Yingge sighed and said, ”His cup, a lowly servant like you is going to kill me? I did not expect, your archery ability is quite great.” he said while pulling out his sword. And when that happened, no one dared to stop him from killing Fu Yiren who was still kneeling in front of him.

Then, just as he was about to slash Fu Yiren's head, Shu Qingzhi suddenly appeared and instantly stopped Xu Yingge's sword movements using only his bare hands!

As a result, Shu Qingzhi's right hand was severely injured and there was blood dripping right in front of Fu Yiren's eyeball. Everyone put on a shocked expression as if in disbelief at Shu Qingzhi's sudden arrival. Not only that, it seemed that Shu Qingzhi did not look in pain at all in contrast to the other Princess concubines.

”Who is this girl? I never saw him.” Inner Xu Yingge instantly fell silent for a moment without pulling her sword back.

Hearing his voice, Fu Yiren looked surprised. He immediately raised his head and looked towards Shu Qingzhi who had been bleeding. ”Nona! Your hand is hurt!” exclaimed Fu Yiren who looked anxious and immediately stood up while paying attention to the wound that was on Shu Qingzhi's right hand.

Shu Qingzhi directly put away his hand and said, ”I'm fine! Don't ask me too much.” he said in a soft voice.

”Supply! Give me back that sword!” shouted Xu Yingge who immediately raised her hand. However, as Xu Yingge tried to take her sword back, Shu Qingzhi instead threw it and landed right in the middle of the arrow target point that was in front of her.

”This he, trying to humiliate me?!” inner Xu Yingge who grew even more annoyed.

Behind him, Tao Sonyun looked satisfied laughing at him. Because, in the end he lost to a girl whose origin is unknown. In this imperial palace, there were only two people that the princes could not defeat here. They were Shu Yinzhi and Xu Yingge. However, with Shu Qingzhi being present here, it seemed that Xu Yingge's position would be replaced by him.

”It's enough!” xu Yingge shouted who immediately looked at Shu Qingzhi and Fu Yiren coldly. ”... I want them to be put to death right now! This girl must be an intruder who will kill the Emperor! Hurry along! Kill him!”

Instantly, the entire army gathered together and instantly restrained the hands of Shu Qingzhi and Fu Yiren. Thinking that all this would end easily, Shu Qingzhi directly kicked the guards' legs. Shu Qingzhi stopped and looked towards Tao Sonyun with a frightened-looking expression. He shook his head slowly and said, ”I don't want to die. I fear. I was so scared.” he said as he shed his tears.

Tao Sonyun looked at her very confusedly and muttered, ”Why is she crying all of a sudden?”

Just as it happened, suddenly someone came and directly pulled Shu Qingzhi into his arms as if he did not want anyone to see his face when he was crying. ”... Whoever made her cry, I will definitely kill her!” said Shu Yinzhi who turned out to be the one who was hugging Shu Qingzhi who was crying.
