Chapters. 05 - A Group of Criminals
”Your Majesty! We'd better get back. It is getting late.” Liu Zhenqi said. He is a study companion of the imperial crown prince named, Shu Yinzhi who will soon be appointed the next Emperor.
”But the view is good. Why do you want to just leave? At least relax for a moment. Do not be too obedient to the rules in the Palace.” Shu Yinzhi said as he devoured the tanghulu sweets.
”Emperor ordered me to keep an eye on His Majesty. Therefore, we'd better go back to the palace!” liu Zhenqi said in a pushy tone as he walked over and pulled Shu Yinzhi's hand so that he would go along with her.
”Release! I can walk by myself!” said Shu Yinzhi who immediately took off his hand and walked next to Liu Zhenqi with an annoyed look.
And just a few steps away from the place, Shu Yinzhi's steps suddenly came to a standstill when he heard a voice that was unfriendly to the atmosphere of the current imperial city.
Liu Zhenqi directly said, ”Your highness! I told you to come back, didn't I? Why stay stop here?”
Shu Yinzhi shut Liu Zhenqi's mouth which could not be silent as he said, ”There is a sword here. I feel that there is a fight happening near here.” he said while paying attention to the events around him.
Liu Zhenqi directly put away Shu Yinzhi's palm that was still covering her mouth and said, ”Your Majesty said it strangely. The city is crowded! Maybe what His Majesty heard was just part of the show.” he said lazily.
Shu Yinzhi ignored what Liu Zhenqi had told him. He immediately ran towards the source of the sound a little further away from him. Like an owl flapping its wings in the middle of the night, he felt that the sound was coming from a quiet alley that was not illuminated by light.
”Ahh! The boy was really troublesome.” grumbled Liu Zhenqi who was annoyed that Shu Yinzhi had never followed what was said by him because he would only obey his wishes.
At the same time, Shu Qingzhi's white clothes had been covered in blood from the criminals. The dagger he had in his hand was so sharp that it seemed, Fu Yiren had sharpened it many times and just in case something happened to his Master Daughter.
Now, there were only two large-bodied people left in front of him. Although his entire body had been scratched by the sword and spear thus creating a blood clot that sprung from within his body, it did not make Shu Qingzhi seem exhausted at all.
He seemed to feel no pain at all and even, the poison in his body was able to be ignored by him.
”Devil Princess! What kind of girl is she?!” muttered the young man who looked surprised after seeing the ability of Shu Qingzhi who had managed to take down three people at once.
Shu Qingzhi rubbed his knife using his white clothes. He also wiped the dried blood marks that were attached to his facial skin.
Looking at these two people who were so frightened when they saw him, made Shu Qingzhi even more want to kill them. He also showed a horrible-looking smile in front of the two of them.
Shu Qingzhi finally moved with a very quick step towards them. Her wide smile was so threatening and made everyone shudder as she thought, she is a mad Princess as well as a murderer. However, suddenly two arrows shot towards him and stuck right on both his shoulders.
Because of that, his steps had halted for a while. These two villains seemed to be very happy once their arrows had been successfully planted and were about to kill him slowly.
However, Shu Qingzhi ignored the wounds all over his body. He ran back with the tip of the sword preparing to finish them off.
Sure enough, it didn't take very long, Shu Qingzhi had killed both of them. However, one of them had put up a fight by slashing Shu Qingzhi's waist to make him bleed. However, Shu Qingzhi was already used to this kind of wound so, he still killed the two easily.
”It's a pleasure to finally meet people like you. At least, I can inflict my anger on all of you. The Princess concubines should thank the five of you for surviving and not ending horribly like you.” Inner Shu Qingzhi with a smile grinnedly gazing at a corpse that was under her feet.
”What is this? What happened to them?” exclaimed a young man who looked extremely shocked after he saw several corpses of black-robed young men that were strewn everywhere.
Shu Qingzhi directly looked towards the young man who had just come to him whereas, the show had finished. With the eyeballs that had the same color as her then, the shape of her head that was almost the same as her, it was unmistakable, she was Shu Yinzhi. The person Shu Qingzhi was looking for.
The attentive Shu Yinzhi began to realize something as he stared at the faces of these criminals. ”... Not wrong anymore. They are criminals who always appear in state documents. Extortion and fraud. If caught, they will also get the death penalty.” Inner Shu Yinzhi who pays attention.
”Ah, Miss! You're doing fine. Your injuries are very severe.” asked Shu Yinzhi who immediately ran over to Shu Qingzhi.
As Shu Yinzhi stared at Shu Qingzhi's face at a close enough distance, his expression instantly became very shocked once he realized that Shu Qingzhi had the same face as him. He thought that all this was just a coincidence. So, he doesn't have to fuss about it.
”I'll bring you back soon. Can you tell me, where are you staying?” shu Yinzhi asked as she carried the injured Shu Qingzhi over her two hands.
As Shu Yinzhi took her, the pain suddenly felt all the way to the tip of the head. He gripped Shu Yinzhi's shoulder even to the point of making her sweat coldly because she could not hold it anymore.
”If it is severe like this, he will not be able to answer my question.” muttered Shu Yinzhi who noticed it.
”Your Majesty! What the hell is going on here? You killed them all?” asked Liu Zhenqi who had arrived there. However, his face looked not surprised at all because this kind of scene was already commonly shown to him.
”There is no time to ask. This girl is dying! We should be back soon!” said Shu Yinzhi while running back to his residence. However, while running, accidentally a piece of paper carried by Shu Qingzhi fell to the ground and it was completely unaware by Shu Yinzhi who was in a hurry.
