Chapters. 12 - Checking the Place
”Your Majesty! Up ahead is where we left Princess Qingzhi.” said a bodyguard who accompanied Shu Yinzhi to the cliff in front of them.
Their horses stepped back towards the place. However, not yet there, they had already inhaled the rancid scent of blood that had already dried up. Shu Yinzhi started to have a bad feeling after feeling it. He drove his horse faster than usual and when he got there, he fell silent and could not say anything.
Seeing Shu Yinzhi who was instantly speechless at the place, made the bodyguards behind him feel worried. He immediately walked up to Shu Yinzhi and asked, ”What is Your Majesty? What do you see out front there?”
Just now he asked and arriving there, his face also looked surprised when he saw that there were many pools of blood and also parts of the human body that were released. Both of them could not move any further and even their mount horses seemed reluctant to walk past these corpses.
”Who killed them all? It was impossible for Princess Qingzhi to kill them all.” muttered the surprised-looking Youth after seeing those bandits killed before her.
”Check soon! Whether the corpse of the girl is also here.” Shu Yinzhi said as he watched the bottom of the ravine that had a large scratch like it had been pierced by a very strong wind.
The young man immediately replied, ”Good, Your Majesty!”
As the young man examined the corpses in front of him, Shu Yinzhi descended from his horse and walked over to the lip of the ravine. Obviously, this cliff was not destroyed using a sword but rather, like a gust of wind capable of tearing human flesh. He also noticed some trees growing behind him. The trees had many knives and axes stuck in their branches.
”Can a human being do something like this?” murmured Shu Yinzhi who noticed and felt that all of that was very impossible to do by humans. He thought, It might just be the Dragon Witch who has done all this. However, the Dragon Witch is only in fairy tales.
What kind of chaos has actually been going on here?
Before long, the young man came back to Shu Yinzhi with anxious feelings. ”... Your Majesty, we did not manage to find Princess Qingzhi's corpse here. There is a possibility that he has gone from this place.” is obviously a young man.
Shu Yinzhi looked at the young man and asked, ”Is he really gone? Then, who has killed them?”
The young man explained, ”Seeing from his corpse, it seems like they died not because of the sword that dismembered their bodies. But, their bodies exploded to the point of making them cut into pieces like this.”
”Very clear. The girl didn't kill them. Then, where is he at this time?” ask Shu Yinzhi.
Quickly, the young man immediately replied, ”We don't know yet, Your Majesty. Please, forgive us.”
Shu Yinzhi looked anxious however, he did not want to be seen worrying about Shu Qingzhi. His attention was again on someone who was hiding behind a large rock near a tree. Quickly, he approached her and hoped that this strange man would know what was really going on here.
”Tell me everything! What's going on here?!” shu Yinzhi asked firmly so as to make the crazy-looking man frightened.
”Your Highness, are you seriously going to ask this madman?” asked the young man next to her because he felt that this person deserved to be doubted.
”There is no harm in asking. At least he has a little sanity.” replied Shu Yinzhi.
Both the hands and feet of the crazy man in front of him seemed to tremble. He looked very frightened by what was happening in front of him. Both of her eyes were swollen like they had been crying for quite a while until her tears ran out.
”A-there's a lot of blood and wind. The white swan stopped flapping its wings and fell in any place. Then, the ruler of the sea was angry with the waves coming and crashing down on the tree. The blood spots were threatening and could touch objects without using his hands. Everybody's dead, man,... Die!” said the crazy man while gripping his head until it bled.
”What did he say? I don't understand at all.” Inner Shu Yinzhi.
The young man next to her whispered to her, ”Maybe, this crazy man intends to tell His Majesty that Princess Qingzhi has already dropped down from the top of the cliff before these bandits are defeated.”
The young man looked at her confusedly and said, ”Your Majesty thinks as if Princess Qingzhi is a person who easily gets depressed. I guess, he was already quite happy to meet His Majesty even though it was only a short while.”
Then, all of a sudden the mad man touched Shu Yinzhi's clothes and looked at her fearfully, ”You are the crown prince who will be crowned the next Emperor. Please, take this old man to your palace! I feel very unsafe here! Please, Your Highness the Crown Prince!”
Having acted recklessly, the other troops instantly pushed this crazy man away from him. ”... You crazy man! How dare you touch His Majesty and rule him!” sniped one of the troops.
However, again the old man grabbed onto Shu Yinzhi's clothes as he said, ”Please me, Your Majesty! I will drop myself from the top of the cliff if Your Majesty does not want to bring this old man to the palace!”
”Probable! Don't carelessly touch His Majesty!” snapped the troops who directly kicked the crazy man to the ground.
Shu Yinzhi sighed and said, ”Give him some money to rent an inn.”
Before long, one of his troops threw a small bag of money. After receiving it well, Shu Yinzhi again said, ”... Use that money to rent a hostel. You might get killed if you insist on entering the palace. If so, I'll excuse you.”
After that, Shu Yinzhi finally left along with some of his troops. However, just as he was about to get on his horse, he heard the clinking sound of several pieces of gold falling to the ground. He looked back at the man. But unfortunately, the man ended his life on the cliff because he was not allowed to enter the palace.
”Huh! How dare a person like him touch His Majesty and even rule over him! Just let him kill himself in there!” grumbled one of the soldiers who saw it.
On the other hand, Shu Yinzhi was imagining and wondering about the words that the mad man had just said. ”... There's no way the girl killed herself here. I am very sure, until now he is still alive.” Shu Yinzhi muttered.

”Master witch! Where the hell are you?! Miss has been tired waiting for you since!” chirps of Yin Chu who immediately looked at the black-robed Youth who had just entered the room.
Shu Qingzhi directly looked at the young man. At first glance, he felt he had met her. But he forgot when it happened. He could only look at her in confusion and wonder, who is this?
”It is better that Mr. Witch explains what has been going on all along. Miss felt shaken as she woke up in this place.” continued Gu Ruo.
”Really?” asked the young man who immediately walked over to Shu Qingzhi who looked puzzled. ”... My empress-to-be, do you not know me at all? Didn't we meet a few hours ago?”
Shu Qingzhi could only look at him while shaking his head in confusion.
”Hah? You don't remember who gave you the black cloak when you were in the Imperial Palace?” asked the young man once again however, Shu Qingzhi still did not understand what he was saying.
Yin Chu whispered, ”Maybe, the witch master must introduce a name first. If this continues, Master witch will only make Miss feel confused.”
The young man cleared his throat and remained silent for a while. ”Let me introduce my name first.” says youth. ”... I am a black dragon who aspires to be an ordinary human being and works as a witch to make ends meet. My name is, Shangguan Wei. Master of the Dragon witch who lives in the interior of the water.”
