Chapters. 18 - Curious Feelings
Next day.
”Yang Mulia.” exclaimed Shu Qingzhi who managed to wake the dreamy Tao Sonyun, staring out the window. ”... Does Your Majesty want to go out? The air is quite cool and can make your wounds heal faster.”
A little while later, Shu Qingzhi asked Tao Sonyun to walk out. The air inside the forest was much cooler than the air in the palace. The scent of flowers smelled everywhere and the grass was dewy, making the shoes both slightly wet.
Shu Qingzhi placed Tao Sonyun on a rock near the river. He hoped that the sound of running water could make his mind much calmer and make him remember who had dropped him from the top of the abyss.
”Does Your Majesty already feel fine?” shu Qingzhi asked after he noticed Tao Sonyun who was so enjoying the air around him.
”Lumayan. I feel I can feel better than before.” answered Tao Sonyun. ”... Then, where was the man you were with yesterday?”
”He went hunting. The witch lord promised to bring her a very large venison.”
”Why doesn't the Princess return to the Palace? Everyone thinks you're dead from falling off a cliff. So, who exactly is that man? His gaze was like not a human.” asked Tao Sonyun who began to seriously look at him.
Shu Qingzhi was silent for a while. The question said by Tao Sonyun made him think, why did he go back to the Palace when he himself had decided to go from there? His Majesty the Emperor never considered it either and the whole Princess concubine also hated him. So, no one should have to ask her about it.
”I myself have decided to leave. So, I don't need to explain it to His Majesty.” Shu Qingzhi replied.
”At least say something to His Highness the Crown Prince. Upon hearing the news that the Princess disappeared, he punished all the troops ordered to keep the Princess up to her destination.”
Hearing this answer coming out of Sonyun's Taoist mouth, made Shu Qingzhi so shocked upon hearing it. In the original story, Shu Yinzhi may have hated her a lot. However, when he replaced Shu Qingzhi, everything turned upside down. He never understood how Shu Yinzhi felt when he saw her. It may be cold and firm. He is also not interested in anything other than the state's task to be completed by him.
”Why is the crown prince punishing them? The soldiers are completely innocent. I told them to go.” Shu Qingzhi said.

Shu Qingzhi fell silent expressionlessly. She bit her lips while holding her skirt firmly. He was confused by a character who should not appear in his novel. Likewise with the existence of Tao Sonyun which should be the luckiest character because it is always in the safest position.

”Mr Princess! What was? You daydream.” asked Tao Sonyun who noticed it.
”Nothing.” replied Shu Qingzhi who was back in silence.
”About that, Does the Princess have any relationship with the Crown Prince?” tao asked Sonyun which made Shu Qingzhi feel surprised. ”... From what I see, the Princess has something in common with the Crown Prince. Besides, your family's clan is the same. Could it be that you are the sister of the Crown Prince?”
Shu Qingzhi was speechless confused. He did not know what the consequences would be if he told the truth to Tao Sonyun who had nothing to do with him. All the stories have changed. It's not like the work he wrote on a piece of paper. Or maybe, someone had changed it so that the groove became very messy.
”It's impossible that it happened. After all, His Majesty the Emperor himself does not regard me as one of his daughters.” Shu Qingzhi replied as he lowered his head. He suddenly felt sad after the memory of Shu Qingzhi re-echoed in his mind.
Seeing that, made Tao Sonyun feel curious. He moved his face slowly. And just as he was already right in front of him, Shangguan Wei appeared suddenly and made Tao Sonyun look surprised and instantly stopped his movements.
”You're trying to tease my future empress?” shangguan Wei asked with a threatening-looking smile.

”Your Majesty! Your honor!” exclaimed one of the troopers who ran towards Shu Yinzhi in a hurry because of the fear that haunted him.
Hearing this shout, made Shu Yinzhi make a mistake while writing an important document. He was very upset that he had to rewrite it. ”Haah,... Say it! What happened!” shu Yinzhi asked who looked annoyed.
”This is very serious Your Majesty. The seventh prince, disappeared while on duty! Last time, he went into the forest filled with beasts to find the villains in Hui village!” clear troops.
Shu Yinzhi was startled and instantly dropped his brush. He sighed and said, ”Tell fourth Prince Xu Yingge to look for him. I am busy right now!”
”But, Your Grace. The fourth prince has just gone out of town and will not be back for a few days.”.

The troop looked surprised after hearing it and asked back, ”What does His Majesty mean, Prince Chen? But, she,...
”Try against my orders?” continued Shu Yinzhi who immediately looked at him coldly.
The troops in front of him immediately lowered their heads and said, ”B~ is good Your Majesty.”

”What are you doing?! Quickly clean up all this mess!” exclaimed a Prince who looked angry after seeing his room look very messy like being hit by a night storm.
”Good! Prince Chen!” exclaim some servants who immediately moved to tidy up the entire place.
Yi Chen was the eldest son of the Emperor's first concubine who came from the Yi family. He is Shu Yinzhi's hunting companion as well as the person who once taught him how to archery properly. However, the older he gets, the more stubborn he is and always notices things that are not right around him. He really does not like if the place becomes a mess. And in fact, he once asked some of his personal servants to clean a room that wasn't even his.
Nevertheless, he still obeyed the orders given by the Emperor and the Crown Prince.
”Yang noble! Your honor!” exclaimed a young eunuch who ran up to him in a hurry.
Beautiful eyeballs in blue waves, directly staring at the direction of the eunuch's arrival. ”... What's in such a hurry? Tell me quickly and you better not waste my time!” yi Chen said firmly.
