Chapter 58. Papa's Death

Arumi looked very shocked to hear the Doctor's words. His body feels weak. The ground felt like it was going to collapse, and the earth turned.

The woman did not believe in the reality she had to accept. A sense of regret lingered in his heart. How could his father have gone so fast.

Tears flooded Arumi's smooth cheeks. The sound of his sobs sounded heart-wrenching. Arumi stand. Shaka helped her by hugging the woman's arm.

Mom followed her daughter's steps. They went into the room where papa in the care of three. Arumi hugged her father's body.

"Papa ..." cried Arumi.

"Papa, papa get up. I promise I won't be leaving the house again. I'll hear all Papa says. Don't go, Pa."

Mama approached Papa's body and hugged him as well. Mama cried with her fists held back.

"Papa, Papa ..." cried Arumi before finally falling unconscious.

Shaka carries Arumi's body towards the IGD room. While Arumi is being treated by the Doctor, Shaka takes care of the administration for the payment of all Papa Arumi's hospitalization fees and also the administration for the repatriation of Papa's body.

Half an hour Arumi was unconscious. When he opened his eyes he saw Shaka who was asleep next to his bed. Maybe that guy was a saucer. From leaving yesterday, no one closed his eyes.

Arumi remembered her father. He's waking up soon. His movements woke Shaka up. The man held Arumi's hand.

"Arumi's Swans. Did you forget you were pregnant? You have to keep your body as well."

"I want to see Papa, Shaka. That wasn't true, was it? Papa's alive, isn't he? It's all just a dream."

"Conscious Arumi, all has become a suratan destiny. We can't refuse it. Papa's calm down there. Papa you don't feel pain anymore."

"It's all my fault, Shaka. I should have followed Papa said. Papa wants the best for his son. I was selfish. Just thinking about yourself."

"Don't blame yourself. Nothing's wrong."

"But the cause of Papa died because of me. I didn't obey Papa's wishes."

"You can't regret that. Poor the baby in your womb. He's innocent too."

Arumi noticed his words and rubbed her stomach. Tears did not stop pouring from her eyes.

"Arumi, Papa's body is ready to be brought home. We should go home too" said Shaka

Shaka helps Arumi get out of bed. They walked to the parking lot. The hearse is waiting.

Papa's body was lifted and put in the car. Arumi's body again limp to see Papa's body in the coffin.

Shaka finally hugged Arumi's shoulder giving her strength. That woman is very weak. Shaka doesn't want him to fall unconscious again.

Shaka's car escorts an ambulance that takes Papa to the Arumi house he used to occupy with Gibran.

Along the way Arumi's eyes continued to shed tears, his gaze seemed empty.

Elsewhere Gibran who was about to drink suddenly felt his chest tightness and pain. He pulled a chair to sit down. When he was sitting, the glass where his drinking water was dropped, until it broke scattered on the floor.

Gibran remembered Arumi. He called Arumi's number. But the number he went to was always inactive.

Did I call Alana, ask about Arumi. I promise I won't contact them until I succeed. Hope everything's okay. My friend told me my family was okay. Did I ask Arumi from them too?
