Chapters 14. We're Talking at Home.

Arumi persuades and asks Alana back to the boarding house. Arumi escorts Alana to the parking lot and orders a taxi.

Before Alana gets into the taxi back she hugs Arumi.

"I love Ms. Arumi, don't split with Ma Gibran" Alana said in tears.

"Alana, everything that happens in our lives has been arranged by God. If eventually Ma'am, and Mas Gibran have to split maybe that's the best."

"I will never forgive Gibran and Joana."

"Here you go, don't think about it. What matters now is that you can finish your college. He said he wanted to work at papa Mbak's company."

"Mr ...." Alana hugged Arumi tightly and her cries spilled back.

"Udah. Poor taxi driver's been waiting a long time."

"Yes, Mother. I'll take my leave first. Take care of your health."

"You too, my dear. It's a snack for you." Arumi gives money to Alana.

"No need, Ma'am. The money given by Gibran was enough. I bought clothes anyway."

"It's from Mbak, not Gibran's mas."

Arumi put the money to Ya Alana. After that Arumi gave money to the taxi driver.

"Be careful. Study hard, let's graduate fast."

"Yes, Mother. Thank you." Thank you."

The taxi slowly left the hotel courtyard. Not far from Arumi standing, there was Gibran following. He was afraid that Arumi would leave too. Gibran saw everything Arumi did with his youngest sister.

After Alana's taxi disappears from view, Arumi turns around and walks into the hotel.

Arumi was shocked when her wrist was grasping. He looked to the side and it turned out to be Gibran.

In Arumi's room, he immediately tidied up his things. He will finish everything at home.

"We're home, Mom."

"Night, there won't be any planes."

"I asked the driver to pick me up this afternoon. I'm waiting downstairs right now."

"Wouldn't we have stayed here last night."

"No need. We have a lot to talk about."

"You still believe what Alana said."

"We'll talk at home. I'm tired."

Gibran approached Arumi and hugged her. He kissed Arumi's cheek. It feels like Arumi wants to avenge him, but he no longer wants to dissolve in the lies Gibran created.

Arumi is also an ordinary human who has a limit of patience. It's time he acted. All this time Arumi has been blinded by her love for the man.

Often times, someone we feel is very close turns out not our best mate. Sometimes the person we think is the best and can give a sense of comfort even in fact only someone who just stop in our lives.

Arumi and Gibran exit the hotel room towards the parking lot after making payment and return the key.

In the car neither Arumi nor Gibran spoke. Gibran didn't know where to start. His tongue feels stiff. He knows all his faults.

Arumi also did not want to start the conversation, he did not want to be carried away by emotions and seen by the driver.

Arumi was determined to talk and end it all. If it continues it will hurt the feelings of both. It's time to bravely let go of those who once incised a wound in your heart.

It's hard to find the right and best person if you still can't move on from people who have obviously ruined your life. If you once loved the wrong person or were caught in the wrong relationship, now is the time to bravely open a new, much better page.
