Chapter 45. Departure.

"Go .. I hate Mas!" yell Alana.

Gibran's heart ached and grieved at his sister's words. One of the reasons he used to accept Arumi was because he thought about Alana's future. He wanted his sister to go to high school to be a successful person.

"Don't talk like that, Deck. I know it was all his fault. I'm sorry, Mas."

Gibran instead left, but hugged Alana tightly. The sister he loved very much.

"I hate it, Mas" said Alana back in Gibran's arms. But Alana did not let go of Gibran's embrace, the brother she loved the most.

Alana, as the youngest child she was indeed rather spoiled. Alana is close to her father and Masnya Gibran. Whatever the girl wants, it'll always be granted either by dad or Gibran.

"I'm sorry, Mom. They just came here wanting to leave. Maybe two years or so, we'll meet again. I hope when you meet, you don't hate me anymore."

Hearing Gibran's words, Alana was shocked. The girl let go of Gibran's embrace and hit his brother's chest.

"If Mas is innocent, why not try to convince Ms. Arumi to cancel the divorce. Why would I be sued."

"Because it's best for us. Ma'am Arumi certainly no longer fully believes in Mas. Households built because of mutual suspicion are not good."

Gibran tried to talk back from the heart with his sister. Alana finally collapsed. He wants to deliver Gibran's departure accompanied by Arumi.

Alana wants to talk, but she blames Gibran for everything that happened. If only his Mas hadn't blinded Joana's love, maybe things would have gone well.

Arumi comes to pick Alana up. The girl asks Arumi to accompany her to take Gibran away.

In Gibran's car, they headed to the airport. Mom and Alana are in the back seat. While driving, Gibran stole a glance at his ex-wife who looked more beautiful.

Realizing that Gibran often steals the view, Arumi becomes misbehaved.
