Gibran ate breakfast voraciously with Arumi. Gibran promised to cut ties with Joana later tonight.
"Rumi, how about you come and see Joana tonight."
"Just go, I trust you all."
"Let's be better and there's no more suspicion between us."
"If between Mas and Joana there is me, you will be awkward to talk."
"To further convince Joana."
"Mas, I'm a woman just like Joana. I can understand his feelings will definitely be disappointed and sad when later Mas cut off the relationship."
"Mas and Joana have been in a relationship for more than eight years. It must not be easy for him later to be able to accept the decision that he will take."
"Mas afraid Joana won't when decided, sell there you can to strengthen later."
"Are you sure you'll be able to talk comfortably if I'm around."
"Of course."
"Alright, Mas. I also want to meet Joana."
"Please first."
Arumi shook Gibran's hand and drove him to the car. Before entering the car, Gibran kissed Arumi's forehead, cheeks and lastly lips.
Gibran drove slowly his car towards the company. Arumi walks into the house after the car disappears from her sight.
At the company, Gibran immediately contacted Joana. For almost a week he did not meet the woman.
Gibran sat down and dialed Joana's phone number. The woman lifted him up. Sounded like a connecting tone. Not how long Joana's voice recalls.
"What's the matter Gibran? Where is one week! this is no news. Phone not picked up, Chat not reciprocated."
"I'm busy, Joana. I'll talk later tonight. Do you have time? "
"But I can't pick you up. You can go to restaurant X."
"Of course you can. Tumben can't pick up! I usually don't let go alone."
"I haven't finished the meeting, so ask you to come alone. Or I'll send a driver to pick me up."
"Don't worry, I can come alone. I'm not Arumi your spoiled wife."
"Well, I'll see you at restaurant X tonight."
Gibran closed his cell phone and continued his work. Actually Gibran is not focused on what he is doing. Gibran thinks about what will happen when Arumi and Joana meet.
At five o'clock in the afternoon Gibran came home from the office, he saw Arumi who was dressing up. His wife always welcomed his arrival.
Gibran hugged Arumi from behind and kissed his wife on the cheek. Arumi replied with a smile.
"You always look beautiful."
"Don't you like a woman who dresses up?"
"What do you mean?"
"I heard when Mas called Joana. Mas says never loved me from the first time we got married because I'm spoiled, I can only dress up."
"I'm sorry, Mom. Maybe late admitting everything, Mas began to feel lost when you went missing a week ago. Only then did Mas realize this inner feeling."
"Do I have to believe what Mas said? I'm giving Mas a chance doesn't mean I trust him completely."
"Mas understand, it is not easy for you to trust someone who has cheated and betrayed you. I'll prove it if you don't give me the wrong second chance."
"I'm not just giving you a second chance, but a last one. If proven to be lying, I will never forgive. My revenge will hurt more than I did?" arumi murmured but Gibran could hear.
I know Arumi, right now you're not just giving me a second chance, but testing me more. You just want to prove the truth of my words. Did I really change, or was it just a promise?
