Chapter 65: An Eye Witness Who Was Targeted by a Pay Murderer

Hours after the residents of Huaran City chased Shingen, Fujin, Sanada and Yuan Shi out of town, in a forest close to the city of Huaran there is a young girl who is chased by assassins.

"I'm scared..." Sobs the young girl while trying to escape from the pursuit of two hitmen who are after her.

The sound of bushes rang out in his ears, the footsteps of the two hitmen getting closer and closer. The young girl covered her mouth with both hands so that her crying voice would not be heard, but because the atmosphere of the forest was so quiet that her sobs could be heard by two assassins who were about to kill her.

"No. No." The young girl shook her head in fear, the footsteps of the two hitmen getting closer and closer to her.

"Little girl, where are you going to run?" The voice of one of the assassins made the young girl's hair stand up in fear.

"I didn't expect anyone to see us kill the old man" said another assassin.

The young girl's eyes widened to see one of the assassins looking at her, her body trembling violently in fear.

"Please..." His voice was stifled, his life was already on the edge right after the two hitmen saw himself trembling in fear.

"Sister, how is this? Should we taste her body first?" Hei Xie licked his sword while looking at the young girl lustfully. Hei Xie's words made the young girl even more helpless, her body was limp and it felt as all the cells began to weaken.

"Good idea, as a big brother, of course I have to taste it first. Agreed, sister?" Hei He smiled at Hei Xie for a moment, lustfully he approached the young girl who was looking at him in fear.

"Again, it's okay to be second." Hei Xie smiled as he observed the state around the forest. The atmosphere around was very quiet, only the sounds of crickets could be heard.

"Krik .. krik .. krik."

Hei Xie followed Hei He holding the hand of the young girl whose body was lying on the ground due to being pierced by Hei He.

Ming Fengying raised the body of the young girl who was still frightened to stand up immediately, then she told the young girl to stay behind her.

"Stay near me, close your eyes. My katana's gonna kill a human for the first time." Ming Fengying smiled gently at the frightened young girl, but when she looked at Hei He and Hei Xie her smile looked so fierce.

"Sister, he is the son of the fifth princess and Shingen." Hei Xie pointed at Ming Fengying as he looked at Hei He.

"That means this rancid brat is the grandson of the emperor .. Good catch, our prey this time is quite expensive," Hei He said with a big smile looking at Ming Fengying.

"It looks like he's looking for us because he's aware of the allegations" Hei Xie said.

Ming Fengying gnashed her teeth as she stared intently at Hei He and Hei Xie.

"Why did you two do that?!" Ming Fengying emotions due to the actions of the two hitmen damaged her father's good name.

"Mahaha .... Why are we doing this, you say?" Hei He smiled cunningly as his eyes looked at Ming Fengying with a mocking look.

After all, you Yamato people are hated here. It was a great opportunity for us, to show off of course." Hei He's words made Ming Fengying even more furious, his emotions overflowing unstoppable, this time he saw firsthand the true nature of humans who do not want peace because of a difference.

Hei He and Hei Xie's plan was originally intended to make the townspeople chase after and capture Shingen with his followers, but everything did not go smoothly because there was a figure of a young girl who saw the two of them kill an old old man.

Hei He and Hei Xie's devious plan failed due to being too focused on chasing after the young girl that Ming Fengying was now protecting. By killing the eyewitnesses who saw the murder, Hei He and Hei Xie were able to search for Shingen's whereabouts with his followers. Because in both of them's minds, the townspeople will be looking for a samurai who killed an old man.

By dividing the trust between the townspeople pursuing Shingen with his followers, Hei He and Hei Xie can help the townspeople to kill Shingen along with all his followers.

Shingen and the others were certainly unable to draw their katana against the commoners, let alone those who had fled from Yamato to Bei. Although Bei was once an outcast territory, everyone in the Kuru Empire still considered Bei to be their territory.

"How many years have we been working as a hit man?" Hei He tried to catch his breath, it had been a long time since he had felt the sensation of escaping from what was called death.

"It's been 10 years..." Hei Xie was confused by Hei He who asked him.

"10 years .. when was the last time we nearly died while killing a target?" He looked at Hei He.
