Chapter 2: The Past

Slowly Feng Huang's body could not feel any part of his body, after which Feng Huang's eyes slowly looked - the ground darkened and could not see anything.

In that condition he was shown painful memories of his life.

Feng Huang recalled when he was young and handsome-looking, it was a wonderful time in his mind, even at that time one of the children of the second prince of Emperor Kuru liked him.

The beautiful and sweet girl who fell in love with Feng Huang was named Ming Mei, a daughter surnamed Ming who was a family of the Kuru Empire's bloodline, who has ruled for thousands of years on the Kuru mainland.

Ming Mei liked Feng Huang who was handsome, although the young man was an orphan and it was not clear the origin of his family but Ming Mei had already been in love at first sight, when he saw Feng Huang coming to the capital. Seeing the closeness of Ming Mei and Feng Huang, his older cousin Ming Zhu, the son of the Third Princess, planned a scheming evil plan, because he was not happy to see his cousin's sister like commoners.

Ming Zhu was also envious of Feng Huang's good looks, he felt annoyed and spiteful to see the commoners who were stout and respected by many, so he planned evil things to kill Feng Huang. At the time of the night before the final battle between Feng Huang and one of the genius young swordsmen of the strongest White Flow Sect.

Ming Zhu invited Feng Huang to his residence, where the young man was treated with food and drinks that had been mixed with sleeping pills. Feng Huang who did not know about it could only thank Ming Zhu from the bottom of his heart, after which Feng Huang ate the food that Ming Zhu had prepared. Moments later he fell asleep because of the effects of sleeping pills that had been placed on the food he had eaten. Seeing Feng Huang unconscious Ming Zhu smiling triumphantly, then he carried Feng Huang's body into an empty room room. Before setting fire to his own house, Ming Zhu told the servants to immediately come out of his residence. Ming Zhu observed the situation around his residence after the place of his residence seemed to be quiet burned by the location of the room.

Quickly the flames spread around the residence belonging to Ming Zhu, the fire left the warriors and the imperial family in shock, because they saw the red man devouring the magnificent house and without waiting any longer they immediately headed to the place of the fire.

When Feng Huang woke up, half of his body had been burnt and his face was experiencing tremendous pain from being burned by the flames.

After the fire was extinguished, dozens of warriors and Families from Ming Zhu approached Feng Huang. They did not help Feng Huang who was severely injured due to the burns all over his body, instead they intended to capture Feng Huang who had been accused by Ming Zhu.

Ming Zhu alleged that Feng Huang had plotted evil and was about to kill him by burning down his residence, but Ming Zhu managed to escape and reported the matter to the white swordsman who was in the Capital.

Feng Huang was furious at the accusations Ming Zhu had made against him. And, not for how long then appeared Ming Mei the girl who liked Feng Huang to see what was really happening in the Ming Zhu residence, but the girl's footsteps came to a halt when she saw Feng Huang's face that had been burning. Ming Mei looked at Feng Huang's disdain with a look of disdain. Ming Mei pretended not to know Feng Huang, even worse the girl preferred to hear his older cousin's explanation and told dozens of warriors to arrest Feng Huang.

I don't know what kind of way Feng Huang managed to escape from the beginning of his ruined life. But after that incident he was expelled from the Sky Garden Sect.

A few years after that day, Feng Huang reunited with Ming Mei. After learning that the old man of the girl had killed both of her parents, Feng Huang had intended to finish off the girl but he had failed because Ming Mei had guarded dozens of Sacred Swordsmen.

When he turned thirty-five, Feng Huang saw that the entire Kuru mainland had been controlled by the Black Stream Sect in collaboration with the most terrifying villain Rieyu. Reiyu came from the outside world he managed to overthrow and rule the Yamato Country in a cruel and ruthless way.

The entire Ming Family and the other noble families were mass-murdered by Rieyu and the Black Flow Sect, there were even some remaining White Flow Sect warriors trying to fight back, but all the assaults they made were in vain, for only one reason Rieyu was one of the strongest men on land, sea and air.

One day Feng Huang realized that his mother's name was Ming Lian and his father was Tsukuyomi Shingen, both of his parents were killed by both of Ming Mei's parents who were so ambitious as to become Emperor Kuru.

With the help of the power of the Black Stream Sect behind him, Ming Mei's parents put away her four siblings by killing her. After successfully becoming Emperor Kuru, old man Ming Mei ruled for several years but all of that did not last long, as they were only puppets utilized by the Black Stream Sect working together with Rieyu. Rieyu had ambitions to rule over the entire land on the Jiu Continent.

But behind all the events that made him slump for decades, Feng Huang met a girl younger than him, the girl who changed his view of the world, the girl who changed her entire monotonous life to become more colorful, long-haired, sweet-eyed, and beautiful-looking girl who claimed to be from the Yamato Country went wandering alone, the girl who always smiled, and she was always smiling, laughing and never showing the slightest sad facial expression to Feng Huang made her fall in love with the girl after the two of them ventured together.

After wandering together for several years, Feng Huang expressed all the feelings he had for the girl, and the girl accepted Feng Huang's feelings. Because he also had the same feelings towards Feng Huang. The beautiful time under the same sky and with the same feeling made the two grow closer.

A few years into happiness, Feng Huang did not realize that Rieyu was after the girl who became his lover, after promising to protect his lover with all his soul and body. On that day Feng Huang failed to save his lover even seeing his heart die before his own eyes.

Feng Huang who was drowning in anger, venting all his emotions by attacking Reiyu, but his attack had no effect in the slightest on Reiyu even Feng Huang instantly fell apart with just a single blow of Reiyu's hand, reiyu's attack left his entire body scarred and drenched in blood.

Unable to avenge the death of his parents, unable to avenge the death of his lover, all of which made Feng Huang loose without direction and lost his direction for decades to come, he found the Book of Stars in Heaven in the Kumalawyuha Forest. Initially Feng Huang only wanted to be alone but after settling for two years he made the forest his residence.

In order to keep his last promise to his lover, however, and no matter how difficult he is, he must live for the love of the heart that is up there which is now gone. Because if Feng Huang dies he can no longer remember and think of his dead lover. In two different worlds, Feng Huang just kept thinking about his lost heart and he was always wondering - if all the life he had been through was his delusion and long dream. She believes that if she wakes up one day, her lover is still alive and at her side as usual.

Without Feng Huang realizing that he was given a second chance in his life, a chance to improve his previous life in a way he never imagined, in his life this time all changed drastically towards the unexpected.
