Chapter 41: Peace in Bei

Henka broke out in a cold sweat unaware of Sanada and Fujin's presence. Henka was shocked when her body hit the bedroom door because behind her were Shingen and Toramasa.

"Henka's! So you're also from Kuroma?!" toramasa shouted holding the collar of Henka's shirt and took the katana Henka was holding.

Shingen had Ming Lian and Tao Lulu take Ming Fengying away from the room for a while. Toramasa understood Shingen's intention and then held Henka's heart firmly.

"Take him to Bei's Tiger House. Call all the samurai, I want to see if only Kamejiro and Henka betray me!" shingen commands Toramasa in a furious tone. Shingen's red aura comes out of his body which makes Toramasa, Sanada and Fujin feel a gripping terror.

Along the way to the Bei Tiger House many townspeople saw Toramasa carrying a man wearing a face mask. Many questions came to the mind of the residents but they could see and know if Shingen looked so angry.

Arriving at the Bei Tiger House. Shingen had Toramasa tie Henka to a chain in the front yard, all the samurai who saw the traitor's identity pale from the aura of intimidation Shingen had unleashed.

"I still don't know where a friend is and where a traitor is, but remember what I said. If any of you are harassing my family then you will have to face me!" threatening Shingen stared at his entire samurai vassals.

Ichijo broke out in cold sweat looking at Shingen who looked so angry. Ichijo has a lot of respect for Shingen and he knows what to do to make Shingen believe in his loyalty.

"Mr Shingen I swear I didn't betray Mr. Shingen's trust" Ichijo said, bowing his head.

Shingen stared intently at Ichijo before telling Ichijo to prove his loyalty.

"I always thought we were brothers sharing pain and joy together. Ten years ago, I'm sure you saw hell in Yamato." said Shingen, trying to remember his hometown.

"Ichijo, didn't you see for yourself the cruelty of Rieyu and Kuroda. I may be too young to be your leader but I beg you never to betray my trust more than this." Shingen added with a deep sigh.

"Mr Shingen, the servant is from Kikou Town west of Yamato. Servants serve as samurai to the Kujaku Family before Rieyu comes to attack Kikou City." Ichijo tells Shingen about his past.

Ichijo seemed to want to cry when she was about to tell her past. Ichijo is a samurai who serves the Kujaku Family, especially the leader of the Kujaku Family named Sawamura.

"Everybody in Yamato knows my Kujaku Family. Rieyu's disastrous power did not scare Mr. Sawamura in the least, in order to help all his followers... Mr. Sawamura sacrificed himself and captured Rieyu with Kuroda.." Ichijo added.

"Morangura?" muttered all the samurai who heard Ichijo's words.

"The last word of Mr. Sawamura was to tell us to find the surviving Tsukuyomi Family and protect him. I am aware that the Kujaku Family was late in providing assistance to the Tsukuyomi Family during the attack on Rieyu and Kuroda but until the last moment Mr. Sawamura was very loyal to the Tsukuyomi Family," Ichijo explains his past to Shingen and his friends, "Of the hundred samurai who serve Lord Sawamura, only one servant remains, the pursuit by Kuroda's assassin kills all of his servant's friends."

Ichijo pulled out her katana and scratched her palm with her katana blade. Shingen was wide-eyed at Ichijo's actions, he realized his anger was too much and made his loyal followers act in such a way as to prove their loyalty.

Seeing Ichijo prove his loyalty, the other samurai followed Ichijo's actions and scratched their palms. Not long after they all swore allegiance to Shingen.

"Mr Shingen this is a sign we did not betray Mr. Shingen's trust" the samurai told Shingen.

"Take me off!" henka shouted coldly at Shingen with his followers.

Shingen had Masakage and Nobusuke extract information from Henka at all costs. Masakage and Nobusuke understand Shingen's orders and intend to torture Henka in a cruel manner.

Sanada and Fujin accompany Shingen back to Pinyin Palace while Toramasa with Chibusuke and the others see Masakage and Nobusuke tormenting Henka.

The night passed with a painful cry of Henka as her nails were forcibly removed by Nobusuke. The information that came out of Henka's mouth was overwhelming and included the silent, failed murder of Shingen. Masakage kicked and hit Henka's body, tormenting the body made Henka reveal so much information to Masakage.

Hearing Henka's story, all the samurai who saw Masakage and Nobusuke were torturing Henka surprised. Not many people dared to look at the form of the Rieyu dragon, the figure of a hateful creature that attacked Yamato made many samurai afraid of Rieyu.

From Henka's words it was heard that Rieyu was so afraid of Shingen and his descendants because Shingen was one of the five heirs of the heavenly power, the wound on Reiyu's body came from Shingen's slash.

Given if Shingen had already had a child then it was not impossible if Shingen would inherit his power on Ming Fengying. Henka said that Rieyu was a Warlord from the Bahamut Empire. A land that was outside the Jiu Continent that became the sworn enemy of the heir to the heavenly power.

Henka's words frightened the entire samurai of Shingen because Jiu Continent could not be entered from the outside world. Henka said that Rieyu and his army came from a mirror that was an ancient weapon.

After hearing Henka's entire words, it wasn't long before Masakage had Chibisuke summon Shingen. According to Masakage a traitor does not deserve to be left to live.

"Bahamut Empire?" Ryunosuke and Mamorusuke frowned because they did not know the name of the empire.

Henka is covered in blood and soon Chibisuke tells Masakage to end Henka's life.

In one stroke the katana Masakage cut off Henka's head. Masakage hoped that among the remaining samurai there would be no more traitors.

Inside Pinyin Palace, Ming Lian looked so worried towards Ming Fengying. The situation had calmed down but Ming Lian looked at her baby with anxiety.

Ming Fengying looked at the sad looking face of Ming Lian, her tiny hands trying to touch the face of Ming Lian.

"Ying'er..thank God you're fine." murmured Ming Lian softly as she touched the tiny hand of Ming Lian.

Tao Lulu did not expect that Kamejiro and Henka were traitors. Tao Lulu looked at Ming Lian who was holding Ming Fengying affectionately.

After Henka's death peace in Bei returned. A calm and serene peace made Bei slowly recover.

The time that did not feel fast passed and now Ming Fengying was eight months old. Ming Fengying was being trained to walk danced by Ming Lian and Tao Lulu.

Buildings in the damaged and destroyed Bei City have also been repaired. Now the Bei region has been as usual visited by many tourists and traders.
