Chapter 37: Revealing the Identity of the Traitor

The sound of shouts from warriors fighting in the Bei City settlement rang out to the Dream Forest. The sound of death that makes the ears hurt indicates that the bloody night battle is still not over.

The samurai guarding the Dream Forest were just waiting for a signal from Kamejiro who was ordered by Shingen to go to the front yard of Pinyin Palace.

Masakage glanced at Kamejiro who had just been silent and closed his eyes. A number of questions popped into his mind and he hoped that his premonition was not right.

The night wind quietly blew making the grass and leaves sway. An instantaneous silent atmosphere signifies a bad feeling will occur. Seconds later a katana slashed one of the samurai.

"Camejiro!" masakage shouted when he saw Kamejiro kill one of the samurai.

Kamejiro's actions led the nine other samurai to withdraw their katana. Masakage did not expect the person who betrayed was the one who looked most loyal to Shingen.

Kamejiro was about to kill all the samurai who were in the Dream Forest but his actions were prevented by Masakage. The bodies of seven samurai lying on the ground, the sight Masakage did not want to see made him curse Kamejiro's actions.

Out of the ten samurai guarding the Dream Forest were only Kamejiro, Masakage and Monzaemon.

"Camejiro! How could you betray Mr. Shingen's trust!" monzaemon shouted his eyes glaring at the hateful Kamejiro.

Kamejiro laughed at the sight of his two friends who had shared the wounds with him over the past few years.

"Back, Monzaemon. The Tsukuyomi clan and the Kuroma Clan are like water and fire" Kamejiro said in a different voice than what Masakage and Monzaemon usually hear.

Masakage and Monzaemon break out in cold sweat in light of the tragedy ten years ago. A tragedy of the attack carried out by thousands of troops dressed in very different clothes than the ordinary people of Jiu Continent wear. The army that wreaked havoc on the Land of Yamato when the figure of the hateful creature that was strongest among the other creatures ravaged the Land of Yamato.

"Camejiro! If you have betrayed the Tsukuyomi Family then I must kill with my own hands!" Monzaemon attacked Kamejiro quickly.

Kamejiro evaded the katana from various directions launched by Masakage and Monzaemon. The residents of Bei City and Pinyin City trembled in fear seeing the samurai followers of Shingen fighting each other.

"Why did Kamejiro kill his own friend." said one resident from Yamato Country who fled to Bei.

"Wouldn't he be Mr. Shingen's loyal follower. What the hell is this?" sahut residents of Bei City asked questions to see Kamejiro's actions.

Kamejiro quickly released his katana on Masakage and Monzaemon. The power Kamejiro has never seen Masakage and Mozaemon makes them both desperate.

"The Shadow Behind the Light."

Masakage moved his legs swiftly before swinging his sword attacking every vital point of Kamejiro. The clash of two katanas sounded so loud in the Dream Forest. Kamejiro is difficult to follow Masakage's katana game because every swing Masakage makes is fast and invisible.

Monzaemon smiled faintly seeing Kamejiro pressed down. The feeling of grief and heartache because Kamejiro turned out to be a traitor made Monzaemon have to make up his mind to kill Kamejiro.

The attack from various directions launched by Masakage and Monzaemon made Kamejiro retreat a few steps back.

"Tell me who you are!" Masakage was so furious to see Kamejiro who looked so different from his personality.

Monzaemon regulate his breath that snarls - nasal. The night breeze was felt in every body. The bright glowing full moon was also blood red. The fishy smell from the direction of the Bei City settlement wafted to the Dream Forest.

Kamejiro smiled broadly before revealing his identity to Kamejiro and Monzaemon.

"My name is Kuroma Kamejiro! That was already reason enough for me to kill Shingen!" kamejiro shouted as he reached into his clothes before throwing bombs at Masakage and Monzaemon.

Masakage and Monzaemon's reaction was so quick to see Kamejiro's hand movements. Kamejiro's identity makes the two more determined to kill the traitor.

The residents of Bei City and Pinyin City ran away from the three fighting samurai. The explosion from the bomb that Kamejiro threw caused severe damage to the Dream Forest.

"This one I will use to kill the descendants of Shingen" Kamejiro added before running towards Pinyin Palace.

Masakage and Monzaemon were surprised to hear Kamejiro say. Human nature is always unknown which one is the original. A good person always wears the hypocritical mask now seen on Kamejiro's face.

A wide smile smirked on Kamejiro's face. Kamejiro's quick footsteps could not be followed by Masakage and Monzaemon.

"Straight Slash Dance."

Monzaemon processed his breathing and shook his katana from afar towards Kamejiro, slashing the katana Monzaemon into a straight whirlwind shot towards Kamejiro.

"That's right!" kamejiro saw the Monzaemon katana technique that shot towards him.

Masakage smiled broadly to see Monzaemon succeed in stopping Kamejiro. The katana that Masakage held was pitch black.

Kamejiro fell to the ground while intending to evade Monzaemon's attack. Kamejiro's eyes glared at Masakage running towards him.

"Mazkage!" kamejiro shouted up and swung his sword to fend off Kamejiro's katana slash.

"I thought you were so loyal to Mr. Shingen, but I misjudged you, Kamejiro!" Masakage kicked Kamejiro in the stomach with his leg.

Monzaemon attacks Kamejiro quickly and intends to finish Kamejiro with one slash. The clashing katana sounds grew louder and louder around the Dream Forest and Pinyin City.

Kamejiro fended off the two katanas that attacked him. Kamejiro's body aura in an instant changed when he released his body aura.

Masakage and Monzaemon smiled broadly at the person running towards Kamejiro. Seeing the look on the faces of his two friends looking suspicious made Kamejiro glance back.

Kamejiro broke out in cold sweat to see Tao Lulu who was ready to attack him. Tao Lulu held ten poisonous knives in her hand that were slid between her fingers.

"The Dance of a Thousand Poisonous Knives."

Tao Lulu throws a quick poisoned knife at Kamejiro. The ten poisonous blades turned into a thousand extremely deadly little blades.

Masakage again kicked Kamejiro who looked panicked. The situation turned around and finally Masakage could see Kamejiro sitting limp when the poison knife thrown by Tao Lulu hit Kamejiro's body.

Monzaemon still does not believe in the identity of Kamejiro but the rice has become porridge. The life of his dead friend cannot be returned and a betrayal must be punished by death.

Tao Lulu did not intend to linger long in the Dream Forest as he had finished completing his second task. Ming Fengying gave three missions to Tao Lulu. The first mission Ming Fengying gave was to clear away the poison Xia Hu had placed on the swordsman's diet of the Sky Garden Sect and Red River Sect. The second mission Ming Fengying had given Tao Lulu was to go to the Dream Forest to kill the traitor but Tao Lulu herself did not expect that Kamejiro would be her traitor.

Tao Lulu ran towards Pinyin Palace. Ming Fengying gave Tao Lulu a final mission to protect Ming Lian along with Toramasa who was hiding in the Pinyin Palace room.

Kamejiro attempted to throw the remaining bomb but his body was unable to move. The sound of footsteps approaching him, a sound that pounded his feet filled with melodies of anger.

"Kamejiro, you deserve to kill me." said Masakage pointing his katana at Kamejiro's neck.

Monzaemon stood in front of Kamejiro who was sitting limp beneath him. Monzaemon sees Masakage who intends to finish Kamejiro by beheading his friend.

"You will never be able to defeat Lord Reiyu.

"The place we live in is still very small, there are many monsters out there that are more terrible than Mr. Reiyu." added Kamejiro, breathing deeply for the last time before the Masakage katana decapitated him.
