The clock on the wall of Zahra's workspace has shown at half-hour one in the afternoon. The girl was still busy with her notes. Not realizing that someone had entered the room.
"Eh."
The man cleared his throat hard enough to attract Zahra's attention, and his efforts succeeded.
Zahra turned her gaze towards the door. There stood a male figure who from yesterday made him cringe. He ignored the man's existence. Returning to work without looking back at the man who was still standing at the door of his room.
Feeling neglected, the man walked over to Zahra's table.
Without being told, the man sat in a chair directly opposite the girl who was ignoring him.
"Ra?" call that guy.
At first glance Zahra watched the man sitting in front of her. Just briefly. After that he again focused on the details of prices that he had been working on since.
"Darling," call that person again who is none other than Ega.
"I don't love you" said Zahra.
"Okay to my future wife. Forgive your future husband" said Ega who made Zahra wrong because of the call.
But he tried to look unaffected by Ega's seduction.
But for a moment the girl thought Is it true what she said just now? I'm his future wife?
In a hurry he brushed the question off his mind. He has not yet reached that stage, he must ascertain how he feels about Ega.
"Look! What do you want to do here? Rio's not in the workshop anymore." Zahra said tightly to Ega.
"I'm not looking for Rio anymore. I'm here to take you to lunch, come on."
"No! Much work. Go alone."
Ega smiled looking at Zahra who was angry at him. He felt that the girl in front of him was really cute and adorable. Makes her want to hug and pinch both cheeks of Zahra.
"Ngapain that smile? Go there already!" Zahra was still trying to get rid of the man she thought was so annoying.
"You know not ..."
"No!" not finished yet Ega said it had been cut by Zahra.
Ega laughs at Zahra's behavior.
"I'm not done talking. Dengerin first," Zahra twirled both her eyeballs in response.
"duh. You're like a jealous girl. The grimness is not clear." Ega finished his speech at the end of the oddity slowly. It makes him look more handsome.
"Udah yuk's. Don't refuse. We're having lunch now. Someone wants me to talk to you."
Ega held Zahra's delicate hand to ask her to stand up.
"dither. I get this done first" said Zahra, taking off Ega's handrails.
Ega nodded in response. He waited for Zahra to clear his desk.
They walked out of the room together, towards Ega's black sedan parked near the workshop gate.
"Dim, if Rio nyariin please tell me I have lunch with Ega ya."
Zahra said goodbye to Dimas who happened to be busy repairing customers' cars near Ega's car.
"OKAY. Do not obey the crocodile. Don't eat him" Dimas replied interspersed with jokes.
"Have a son! The crocodile is you. I do what oruh. Only men are biased" Dimas said.
"Udah. Crocodile fellows don't fight. We do not eat," said Zahra who felt his mood was getting worse.
"Yes, he's gone. No yes," Dimas's message.
They both entered the car. Ega drives his car at a moderate speed. Although the road was a little quiet he did not drive his car at full speed.
Ega took Zahra to one of the famous restaurants in Malang city. The place was never empty of visitors. Especially at lunchtime like this.
After getting a parking space, the two of them entered the restaurant. They immediately queued to get food. After both of them got their respective menus, now they have a little trouble finding a seat. Finally they found a slightly empty table at the end.
"We eat first yes, later after eating I want to say something," said Ega who was nodded by Zahra.
They both ate in silence. Occasionally pay attention to the atmosphere of the restaurant with visitors coming in and out.
"Ra, I want to talk," said Ega after the two finished eating.
"I'm sorry yes. From here, I did not contact you. You're a mess today because of that, right?"
"You must have told Rio, right?" accuse Zahra of winning.
The man nodded in response.
"Yes. He went to the office this morning. So unfortunately he's the same as you, yes" said Ega with a charming smile.
"But you should know. My dear to you is much bigger than Rio. And that affection is not as a brother. I love you as a man. You know what I mean?"
There was no reply from Zahra to that statement. He waited for Ega to continue his words. Although to be honest he felt his heartbeat suddenly beating fast.
"I'm sorry yes. Yesterday I was busy. After you came home, I went back to the office. My work is so much. I've been living in a lot lately."
Ega gave a pause before continuing his words. Look at the Zahra reaction.
"This year I received a promotion for the position of branch leader. So I'm gonna have to catch up on my work deadline that I've been living on for a few weeks."
"Definitely because of me?"
Zahra felt Ega was neglecting her work because of her.
"No. Not because of you. It's purely because of my own negligence. You can understand me, right, for some time?"
Zahra really felt guilty towards Ega. He remembered several events from the beginning of their meeting until now. Ega almost never misses to see him.
"Yes I understand. I'm sorry I got to take care of you" Zahra said without looking at Ega. He prefers to pay attention to his glass of juice.
"You don't get potin' at all. Precisely when it was my chance to make deket same you again, make backin your trust again."
"I'm sorry too" Zahra said.
"No. I don't want to hear an apology from you. I just wish you could understand that I'm busy at times and there's no time for you."
"Yes Ega. No papa. I'm just asking you to tell me."
"Yes dear. Sure," said Ega with a charming smile.
"Current. What the hell use dear-dear everything," Zahra rutuk. But he felt his cheeks heat up with the call of Ega.
They continued the chat around each other's work for a while. After that Ega delivered Zahra back to Rio's workshop. Then he himself went back to the office.
